如何提高跨企业边界的安全信息互操作性,为电子商务交易提供协同安全服务,是目前电子商务安全服务研究的重点和难点。针对该问题,给出了一种基于SAML的安全数据交换服务和基于该服务的面向企业应用协作的协同电子商务安全服务系统。该系统采用了统一的基于XML的安全数据描述、服务访问接口定义和安全上下文传递;首次提出了基于SAML的数据交互服务,并以此为基础,构造了协同电子商务安全服务,不仅能够提供以企业为边界的关键资源保护,还可为跨企业的电子商务应用提供协同安全服务;基于SAML的安全数据交换服务提供了丰富的编程接口,企业遗留安全系统经过少许编程,就可以在其提供的服务的基础上,实现与其他安全系统间的数据互操作。  相似文献

Increased bandwidth, cheaper and faster hardware, dedicated technology and the success of e-commerce make VR-shops feasible. VR-shops are similar to the e-shops currently available on the Web, with the difference that the products are visualized as 3D objects in a virtual world. Although VR-shops do not require sophisticated VR technology, they should be very flexible: it should be easy to add, remove and rearrange products; and to add, change or remove functionality. Therefore, an appropriate approach that can be used by a non-VR expert and which provides a short development time and easy maintenance is necessary. Also usability is very important because this is crucial for the success of VR-shops. In this paper, we present an approach to develop VR-shops that meet these requirements. It allows specifying a VR-shop using high-level conceptual specifications and in terms of domain terminology; semantics are captured by ontologies; existing product information can be incorporated; and the actual code is generated.  相似文献

This paper focuses on knowledge empowered automated negotiation systems for buyer-centric multi-bilateral multi-attribute e-Procurement. We propose two knowledge empowered models, namely KERM and KACM. KERM is used for the buyer to determine a list of suppliers which are the best qualified candidates to negotiate with. The use of knowledge features largely in the model, which incorporates both the buyer’s and supplier’s profiles in evaluating a quote. Historical trade records of a supplier contribute to the supplier’s profile credit and therefore the rank of the supplier’s quote. KERM also allows the flexibility to assign appropriate weights, based on buyer’s interests, to each knowledge factor affecting the overall evaluation result of a quote. The resulted list of quotes of high rank is believed to produce satisfactory negotiation result for the buyer. KACM enables an automated concession process, while at the same time facilitates a flexible negotiation via the use of concept switch and tagged rules. Different from other negotiation models, KACM emphasizes the utilization of knowledge originated from the historical negotiation data in estimating and fine-tuning the negotiation parameters, for improving the performance of automated negotiation. Graph results show that our software prototype system makes significant improvement in the satisfaction level of negotiation results.

Meeting client Quality-of-Service (QoS) expectations proves to be a difficult task for the providers of e-Commerce services, especially when web servers experience overload conditions, which cause increased response times and request rejections, leading to user frustration, lowered usage of the service and reduced revenues. In this paper, we propose a server-side request scheduling mechanism that addresses these problems. Our Reward-Driven Request Prioritization (RDRP) algorithm gives higher execution priority to client web sessions that are likely to bring more service profit (or any other application-specific reward). The method works by predicting future session structure by comparing its requests seen so far with aggregated information about recent client behavior, and using these predictions to preferentially allocate web server resources. Our experiments using the TPC-W benchmark application with an implementation of the RDRP techniques in the JBoss web application server show that RDRP can significantly boost profit attained by the service, while providing better QoS to clients that bring more profit.  相似文献

Traditional recommender systems for e-Commerce support the customers’ activities providing them with useful suggestions about available products in Web stores. To this purpose, in an agent-based context, each customer is often associated with a customer agent that interacts with the site agent associated with the visited e-Commerce Web site. In presence of a high number of interactions between customers and Web sites, the generation of recommendations can be a heavy task for both these agents. Moreover, customers can navigate on the Web by using different devices having different characteristics that may influence customer’s preferences. In this paper we propose a new multi-agent system, called ARSEC, where each device exploited by a customer is associated with a device agent that autonomously monitors his/her behaviour. Furthermore, each customer is associated with a customer agent that collects in a global profile the information provided by his/her device agents and each e-Commerce Web site is associated with a seller agent. Based on the similarity existing among the global profiles the customers are partitioned in clusters, each one managed by a counsellor agent. Recommendations are generated in ARSEC as result of the collaboration between the seller agent and some counsellor agents associated with the customer. The usage of the device agents leads to generating recommendations taking into account the device currently used, while the fully decentralized architecture introduces a strong reduction of the time costs. Some experimental results are presented to show the significant advantages obtained by ARSEC in terms of recommendation effectiveness with respect to other well-known agent-based recommenders.  相似文献

A scalable e-commerce server should be able to provide different levels of quality of service (QoS) to different types of requests based on clients' navigation patterns and the server capacity. E-Commerce workloads are composed of sessions. In this paper, we propose a session-based two-dimensional (2D) service differentiation model for online transactions: intersession and intrasession. The intersession model aims to provide different levels of QoS to sessions from different customer classes, and the intrasession model aims to provide different levels of QoS to requests in different states of a session. A primary performance metric of online transactions is slowdown. It measures the waiting time of a request relative to its service time. We present a processing rate allocation scheme for 2D proportional slowdown differentiation. We then introduce service slowdown as a systemwide QoS metric of an e-commerce server. It is defined as the weighted sum of request slowdown in different sessions and in different session states. We formulate the problem of 2D service differentiation as an optimization of processing rate allocation with the objective of minimizing the service slowdown of the server. We prove that the derived rate allocation scheme based on the optimization guarantees client requests' slowdown to be square-root proportional to their prespecified differentiation weights in both intersession and intrasession dimensions. We evaluate this square-root proportional rate allocation scheme and a proportional rate allocation scheme via extensive simulations. Results validate that both schemes can achieve predictable, controllable, and fair 2D service differentiation on e-commerce servers. The square-root proportional rate allocation scheme provides 2D service differentiation at a minimum cost of service slowdown.  相似文献

This paper summarizes our recent activities to support people to communicate with each other using public computer network systems. Unlike conventional teleconferencing systems, which are mainly for business meetings, we focus on informal communication in open orgnizations. So far, three different systems have been developed and actually tested.
–  • InSocia, we introduced vision agents which act on behalf of their users in a network. To enable a meeting to be scheduled at a mutually acceptable time, we proposed the scheme called non-committed scheduling.
–  Free Walk supports casual meetings among more than a few people. For this purpose, we provide a 3-D virtual space calledcommunity common where participants can behave just as in real life.
–  • In theICMAS’96 Mobile Assistant Project, on the other hand, we conducted an experiment in an actual international conference using 100 personal digital assistants and wireless phones. Various services were provided to increase the interactions among participants of the conference.
Based on these experiences, we are now moving towardscommunity-ware to support people to form a community based on computer network technologies. Toru Ishida, Dr. Eng.: He received the B. E., M. Eng. and D. Eng. degrees from Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan, in 1976, 1978 and 1989, respectively. He is currently a professor of Department of Information Science, Kyoto University. He has been working on “Parallel, Distributed and Multiagent Production Systems (Springer, 1994)” from 1983. He first proposed parallel rule firing, and extended it to distributed rule firing. Organizational self-design was then introduced into distributed production systems for increasing adaptiveness. From 1990, he started working on “Real-time Search for Learning Autonomous Agents (Kluwer Academic Publishers, 1997).” Again, organizational adaptation becomes a central issue in controlling multiple problem solving agents. He recently initiated the study of “Communityware: Towards Global Collaboration (John Wiley and Sons, 1998)” with his colleagues.  相似文献

Existing examples of Business-to-Business (B2B) e-Commerce in the literature tend to be drawn from the experience in developed economies, and existing theories are also implicitly grounded in this context. Emerging economies present a significantly different business context, owing largely to their less developed financial, legal, and physical infrastructures. Emerging or non-western economies also have different business philosophies and cultures, which influence the relationship between companies and the marketplace. As an example of the challenges facing an electronic marketplace in an emerging economy, the experience of i-Metal.com Limited in setting up a non-ferrous metals exchange in China is examined in detail. It becomes apparent that setting up a successful B2B marketplace in emerging or non-western economies may require the creation of basic services that are taken for granted in developed economies, as well as requiring a careful consideration of the underlying business philosophy and culture.  相似文献
