研究了时不变信道下突发式正交频分复用(OFDM)通信系统的信道估计问题,针对在突发式OFDM通信系统中不同时刻发送的帧存在不同的采样起始时刻偏差和载波起始相位偏差,使各帧的信道估计结果难以被其它帧利用的情况,提出了一种基于对采样起始时刻偏差和载波起始相位偏差进行估计与纠正的信道估计方法。该方法对随机传输的物理层帧之间的采样起始时刻偏差以及载波起始相位偏差的差值进行估计和纠正,使各帧获得统一的采样起始时刻和载波起始相位,从而使不同帧的信道估计结果可以互相利用,从而提高信道估计结果的精度。仿真结果表明,这种信道估计方法可使系统的误码性能提高约1dB,并且可使系统的传输效率提高约10%。  相似文献

The problem of blind channel estimation for downlink space-frequency block coded multi-carrier code division multiple access (SFBC MC-CDMA) schemes is considered. For these schemes, the authors first develop a system model for complex modulated signals, which reduces the multichannel estimation problem to a single-input single-output problem. Then, they present an intuitive subspace-based channel estimation method along with the corresponding necessary and sufficient conditions under which the channel estimate is unique (within a complex scalar). Their studies highlight two interesting properties of SFBC MC-CDMA systems: (i) there is no antenna order ambiguity (also known as permutation ambiguity) even though only one spreading code is assigned to each user; (ii) channel identifiability is guaranteed, regardless of the channel zeros location. They also establish the unbiasedness of the channel estimates and derive closed-form expressions for the mean-square-error of the estimates as well as the corresponding Cramer-Rao bound (CRB). In the derivation of the CRB, they suggest a novel approach which assumes the knowledge of only the spreading code of desired user. This approach results in a tighter bound than the CRB derived based on the knowledge of all users' signatures.  相似文献

针对正交频分复用(OFDM)系统,提出了一种适用于时变信道的信道估计算法。该方法利用频域导频,经离散傅立叶变换(DFT),获得的信道冲击响应等效于利用频域导频对应的时域序列和接收信号进行循环相关获得的信道冲击响应。因此,避免了在时域采用复杂的循环相关运算。同时,通过消除频域导频时域序列的自相关误差,能有效降低由DFT谱泄漏导致的信道估计误差。仿真和分析表明,在时变多径衰落信道下,提出的信道估计方法的性能比传统的基于DFT的算法和频域维纳滤波算法有明显提高。  相似文献

针对实际系统中的信道冲激响应(CIR)泄漏问题,提出了一种适用于梳状导频正交频分复用(OFDM)系统的改进的最小二乘(LS)信道估计算法.该算法基于分数抽头延时信道近似(FTCA)的参数化信道模型,此信道模型采用一个抽头间隔为分数倍采样间隔的抽头延时线结构的有限冲激响应(FIR)滤波器表示.此算法首先通过FTCA信道模型来近似实际信道,然后再估计该信道模型中的某些参数来获取实际的信道信息;该算法利用了FTCA信道模型中所有的延时抽头,从而很好地抑制了CIR泄漏.仿真与分析表明,FTCA信道模型能够有效地近似实际信道,同时降低信道自相关矩阵的维数,从而提高信道估计的性能.  相似文献

为了消除水声正交频分复用调制(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing,OFDM)系统中噪声对稀疏多径信道估计的影响,提出了一种改进的最小二乘(Least-Square,LS)信道估计算法。该方法在传统基于离散傅里叶变换(Discrete Fourier Transform,DFT)插值的信道估计结构上进行了改进,得到了基于阈值探测的DFT插值信道估计方法,该方法将小于阈值的时域信道响应置零,探测最有效信道抽头,有效消除噪声干扰的影响。仿真结果验证了DFT插值在稀疏多径水声信道估计中的实用性;得到了当循环前缀长度与信道长度越接近时信道估计性能(Bit Error Rate,BER)越好的结论;确定了在两种调制方式下算法的阈值系数范围;且该新算法与已有算法所需的信噪比可低约2 d B,解决了用循环前缀长度来近似信道真实长度的实际问题。  相似文献

基于最大似然的准则,研究了理想信道估计条件下和非理想信道估条件下OFDM系统的最优检测算法。研究结果表明,当发送信号为PSK调制方式时,无论是理想信道估计还是非理想信道估计,最大似然检测算法与传统的迫零检测算法等价。但当信道估计非理想且发送信号的调制方式为16QAM或高阶QAM时,采用最大似然检测算法才能够获得更好的性能。  相似文献

Time- and frequency-selective fading of propagating channels degrades the performance of multiple-input multiple-output/orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (MIMO/OFDM) systems extensively by introducing double convolutions in both time-domain and frequency- domain. The author addresses the problem of linearly time-varying (LTV) channel estimation of MIMO/OFDM systems. First, the time-varying coefficients of the LTV channel are modelled by complex exponential basis expansions. Secondly, the LTV channel is estimated and the optimal pilot symbols are derived following the minimum mean square error criterion. It is shown that the optimal pilot strategy is to group consecutive pilot tones together as a pilot cluster and to distribute uniformly all pilot clusters in frequency-domain. In addition, the LTV channel estimation is further improved by imposing a window function on received signals. Finally, through simulations, it is shown that the new channel estimator can provide a considerable performance improvement in estimating MIMO-LTV channels, especially for the rapidly time-varying channel of a large Doppler frequency.  相似文献

A novel iterative channel estimation approach is proposed for cyclic prefix-code division multiple access systems. Code-multiplexed pilots are used for channel estimation while maintaining bandwidth efficiency. The proposed method achieves a significant improvement when compared to the conventional correlation approach by reconstructing data signals for channel estimation. Simulation results demonstrate good estimation capability with an allocation of only 10% of the whole power to the pilot channel. In addition, an integrated channel estimator and parallel interference cancellation (PIC) detector are proposed. Data signals are reconstructed for channel estimation while the interference contributed by different data channels as well as the pilot channel are regenerated and subtracted from the received signal at the final stage. The channel estimation error reduces at each iteration and the PIC at the last stage enables further bit error rate performance improvement to be achieved for the system. The performance of the proposed scheme is studied through simulations and results verify its effectiveness  相似文献

The authors evaluate the improved energy and spectral efficiency by pilot overhead reduction of turbo coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems employing an iterative phase estimation algorithm. Developed from the recently proposed iterative phase estimation schemes, the phase estimation and compensation process is embedded into the basic iterative turbo decoding process for the application to OFDM systems with just a slight complexity overhead. At each decoding iteration, sub-carrier phase rotations are estimated from the extrinsic information arranged in each sub-carrier and are compensated for the next decoding iteration. This enables the iterative phase estimation algorithm to successfully work under very low signal-to-noise ratios even without pilot symbols. The pilot symbols are just very rarely inserted only for breaking the erroneous phase estimation propagation frame to frame in case of large residual phase offset beyond reliable decoding range. Simulation results show that the iterative phase estimation algorithm drastically reduces the pilot insertion overhead and thus, it achieves improved spectral efficiency as well as bit error rate (BER) performance by saving pilot energy compared to the conventional method.  相似文献

The authors propose a new hidden pilot scheme equipped with precoding and its application to orthogonal frequency division multiplexing-ultra-wideband (OFDM-UWB) systems. The proposed scheme can be thought of as an improvement over conventional hidden pilot schemes. By carefully designing precoder and hidden pilot from the view point of frequency diversity, channel estimation and the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR), more frequency diversity gain and reduced PAPR can be achieved. In addition, the authors can support more pilots to estimate a channel providing mitigated self-interference between data symbol and hidden pilot with almost no loss of bandwidth efficiency in OFDM-based UWB communication systems. The authors show improved performance of the proposed scheme over the multiband OFDM scheme through simulations in a realistic UWB channel environment.  相似文献

A channel estimation (CE) technique that uses a postfixed pseudo-random sequence padded with zero samples is investigated to extend pseudo-random-postfix orthogonal-frequency-division-multiplexing (PRP-OFDM) communications onto mobile applications. The proposed technique takes advantage of pseudo-noise sequences periodically inserted after each OFDM block within the original guard interval (GI) in conventional zero-padded OFDM (ZP-OFDM) or within the original cyclic prefix (CP) in conventional CP-OFDM. This allows accurate estimation of the channel impulse response. In addition, the proposed technique takes advantage of the null samples padded after the PN sequences for reducing inter-symbol interference occurring with the CEs and with the overlap-add information detection in the conventional PRP-OFDM. The proposed technique successfully applies either (1) a least-squares (LS) CE with assistance from decision-directed data or (2) an approximate LS CE method onto PRP-OFDM-like communications for the purpose of improving CE performance on rapid time-varying channels. Computer simulations in conjunction with statistical analysis assess the performance evaluation of the proposed technique and show that it can achieve lower mean-square estimation errors and lower error probabilities in mobile environments.  相似文献

对于正交频分复用(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing,OFDM)水声通信系统,最小二乘(Least Squares,LS)信道估计方法受噪声影响较大,并且使用的导频数量较多,影响通信效率。而基于压缩感知理论的正交匹配追踪(Orthogonal Matching Pursuit,OMP)信道估计方法可以充分利用水声信道的稀疏特性,同时能够有效地抑制系统噪声,但控制迭代运算次数的相关参数(稀疏度或误差容忍值)是OMP算法的关键条件。针对上述问题,提出了利用少量导频随机分布的LS和OMP联合的信道估计方法,该方法首先利用少量导频采用LS方法估计出OMP算法的误差容忍值,再利用OMP算法恢复数据子载波的信道信息。理论分析和仿真结果同时表明,与传统的LS算法或OMP算法相比,新算法能够在数据恢复的同时有效抑制系统噪声,应用稀疏特性及较少量的导频,进一步提高了系统的频谱效率,对时变稀疏水声信道具有更好的适应性。  相似文献

提出了多输入多输出-正交频分复用(MIMO-OFDM)系统中一种新的信道估计方法.根据最小均方误差的准则,推导出了求解信道频率响应的方程,方程求解的运算量主要集中在一个矩阵的求逆上.对每一个符号,此矩阵是固定的,所以矩阵的求逆仅需计算一次,整个求解过程的运算量较低.计算机仿真给出了这种方法的归一化均方误差和误码率性能.仿真结果表明,本文方法在多普勒频移为60Hz和360Hz下,其归一化的均方误差值相当,表明本文方法可以在不同的移动环境中良好工作.在不同的数据调制方式和不同的多普勒频移下,本文方法的误码率性能优于最小平方算法,略差于线性最小均方误差算法,但复杂度大大降低.  相似文献

Transmit diversity-orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems have been proposed to mitigate the detrimental effects of channel fading. However, owing to the space and power limitations, the use of multiple transmit antennas is not practical in certain wireless devices, such as portable terminals and wireless sensors. Therefore cooperation among users at the physical layer has been proposed recently. Here, space-time block coded in amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying mode has been proposed as cooperative diversity for OFDM systems (CO-OFDM) in the presence of perfect channel-state information. Then, the channel estimation techniques for CO-OFDM systems in AF mode based on pilot symbols are investigated over frequency-selective channels. In particular, expectation-maximisation (EM) based maximum a posteriori (MAP) channel estimation is developed and compared with comp-type pilot-aided channel estimation (PACE) based the maximum likelihood (ML) estimator and the least minimum mean-square error (LMMSE) channel estimation techniques for CO-OFDM systems. To overcome the drawback owing to the receiver complexity, the Karhunen-Loeve expansion with the optimal truncation property is also considered. Simulation results that demonstrate the overall performance advantage of the EM-MAP based receiver over the PACE-ML and PACE-LMMSE based receivers are presented.  相似文献

针对正交频分复用(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, OFDM)水声通信中常用的相干和非相干通信分别面临的对多普勒敏感和频谱效率低的问题,提出一种高阶幅度键控调制的半相干通信技术,将OFDM符号时频帧结构中全部频点采用高阶幅度键控调制方式,并利用信号幅度信息完成半相干信道估计。通过两种基于深度学习的算法优化半相干信道估计这一非线性过程,较非相干通信有效提高了频谱效率,较一定信噪比下的相干通信提高了鲁棒性,降低了误比特率和系统复杂度,并利用元学习算法降低深度学习算法对训练数据的依赖。最后,提取海试信道数据,完成OFDM半相干水声通信系统仿真,验证了所提方法在频谱效率和系统误比特率性能方面较非相干和相干通信的优势,当信道长度改变时,基于元学习的算法依然可以获得较好的性能。  相似文献

正交频分复用(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing,OFDM)技术具有抗多径、频带利用充分、传输数据率高的优点,在水声通信中具有重要的发展前景。由于多普勒频移和多径时延的存在,需对OFDM信号进行时间同步。同步不准会引起OFDM水声通信中符号间干扰和子载波间干扰,提出了一种基于叠加单频序列的短时傅里叶变换(STFT)时间同步方法,该方案首先提取叠加在OFDM符号上的单频信号,对该信号进行短时傅里叶变换,随后对其时频幅度谱进行分析,利用平坦区域确定同步时刻。仿真和试验结果表明,该方案有效可行。  相似文献
