Copper(II)metagermanate, CuGeO3, decomposes at high pressure to rutile-type GeO2 and Cu2GeO4. Very small single crystals of Cu2GeO4 can be obtained by direct high pressure synthesis from CuOGeO2 mixtures. The compound has a distorted spinel structure (Hausmannite structure, space group I41amd) with a = 5.593 A?, c = 9.396 A?, Z = 4.  相似文献

Additions of Fe2O3 to CaO·Bi2O3·2 GeO2 cause Ca3Fe2Ge3O12 garnets to precipitate from the resultant melt at 1250°C. Garnets with the composition Ca3Fe(Al, Cr) Ge3O12 are also precipitated by adding either Al2O3Fe2O3 or Cr2O3Fe2O3 mixtures. The well-formed crystals range from several to 100 μm in size and are obtained in 50 to 70% yields at FeBi = 0.4. Additions of Fe2O3 (up to FeBi = 1.0) to compositions containing ZnO, CdO, SrO, and BaO yield only dark glasses. The physical properties of these glasses suggest that Fe(III), in contrast to AL(III) & Ga(III), prefers octahedral coordination.  相似文献

The new ternary chalcogenides TlxTi6Se8 (x= 0.76) and TlxNb6Se8 (x= 0.70) crystallize with a partially filled up Nb3Te4-structure: space group P63m, z= 1 with
a= 9.882(1) c= 3.590(1)A? (Tl0.76Ti6Se8)
a= 10.033(2) c= 3.475(1)A? (Tl0.70TNb6Se8)
The crystal structures were determined from single crystal diffractometer data and refined to a conventional R-value of 0.077 and 0.055 respectively. The T1 atoms in the octahedral channels cannot be localized. In TlxTi6Se8 diffuse scattering indicates one-dimensional short range order. A model of the cation distribution in Tl0.76Ti6Se8 is discussed.  相似文献

Tridimensional P2NbS8 crystallizes in P4?n2 tetragonal space group, with a = 12.0483(4) A?, c = 7.2070(5) A?, V = 1046.2(1) A?3 and Z = 4. The structure was anisotropically refined down to R = 2.3% from 468 reflexions and 53 variables. It is built from [Nb2S12] biprismatic bicapped units (average dNb?S = 2.571 A?) made of S?II and S?II2 anions (dianionic distance of 2.014(3) Å). The niobium atoms are found as isolated NbIV ? NbIV pairs (dNb?Nb = 2.859(1) A?) in these niobium group otherwise linked to each other through (PS4) tetrahedral units (average dP?S = 2.051 A?) themselves constituting interbonded [P4S12] rings. The P2NbS8 three-dimensional network thus obtained is compared to the (2D) P2NbS8, layered phase already described.  相似文献

Twins of Mn1?xGa2+23xS4 were used for crystal structure determination. Twinning is explained by a reticular pseudomerihedry. Axis, plane and obliquity of the twin have been determined. Cell dimensions are: a = b = 5.456(2) A?; c = 10.220(4) A?; α = β = γ = 90°; space group 14; Z = 2. The final R value is 0.059. The material is isostructural with CdGa2S4.  相似文献

A series of isotypic silicates of composition RE2M[SiO4]2 (OH) with RE = La3+, Ce3+, Pr3+, Nd3+, Sm3+, Eu3+, and M = Al3+, Fe3+ has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Lattice constants of two members as determined from single crystal X-ray diffraction data are: La2Al[SiO4]2 (OH) (La2Fe[SiO4]2 (OH)) ao = 7.401 (7.346) A?, bo = 5.702 (5.862) A?, co = 17.072 (97.196) A?, gb = 112.4 (112.5°), P21c, Z=4.  相似文献

A new compound with composition Cu0.75 VS2 has been prepared. Its preparation, X-Ray structure, electrical and magnetic properties are reported. The structure is related to the CdI2-type, as in the case of the previously described CuxTiS2 (1); in Cu0.75 VS2, Cu atoms are ordered in tetrahedral sites between the CdI2-type subunits, whereas in CuxTiS2 Cu atoms are disordered in two independent sites. The vanadium atoms are shifted with respect to the titanium sites which leads a monoclinic distortion of the hexagonal cell. The relation between the CdI2 unit cell and the true monoclinic cell of Cu0.75 VS2 is:
amono = 2ahex3 ; bmono = 43a2hex + c2hex9 ; cmono = 2ahex
In Cu0.75 VS2, vanadium atoms occupy two independent sites, three vanadium atoms forming a triangular cluster (V2—V3 distances are 2.91 Å and V3—V3 are 2.92 Å) while one vanadium atom is isolated (V1?V2 = 3.36 A? and V1?V3 = 3.37 A?. The physical properties exhibit a transition at 50°K approximately, the magnetic susceptibility being temperature-independent above and temperature dependent below the transition (Curie-Weiss behavior). Resistivity and Hall measurements confirm the metallic nature of the compound and show the existence of the low temperature transition. The observed properties could be interpreted as a result of the low temperature localisation of the 3d electron of V1.  相似文献

The quasibinary system InBr3-In2Te3 contains the intermediate phase InTeBr, which melts peritectically at 477 °C. Crystals of InTeBr suitable for crystal structure determination were grown by Bridgman technique. InTeBr: monoclinic, P21c; a = 7.350, b = 7.577, c = 8.343 Å B = 117.61 °; dx = 5.2 g cm?3; Z = 4. Intensities were measured on an automatic diffractometer, and the structure was refined with anisotropic temperature factors to R = 9.9 %. The structure consists of InTe3Br tetrahedra which are connected to layers parallel to the b/c-plane; the layers are translationally equivalent along the a - axis direction. Within a layer the tetrahedra form dimeric units (Br atoms in trans-terminal positions) by sharing common Te vertices to give a 2 framework. Te atoms are surrounded by three In atoms in a distorted trigonal pyramidal arrangement. A band gap of about 2.45 eV for InTeBr has been determined by optical transmission measurements.  相似文献

KHSO4 · KH2PO4 is monoclinic P21n with Z = 2 and the following unit cell dimensions: a = 7.434(3); b = 7.341(3); c = 7.148(3) A?; β = 99.56(5)°.Crystal structure of this salt has been solved, using 1699 independent reflexions with a final R value: 0.034. PO4 and SO4 tetrahedra are randomly distributed in the arrangement with a resulting (P.S)-O mean distance of 1.508(3) Å.  相似文献

The ordered structure of the V8N subnitride was studied by X-rays, electron diffraction and electron microscopy. V8N exists in two different modifications (α′ and α″). The vanadium sublattice of both phases is pseudo-tetragonal, in reality triclinic, with lattice parameters: αo = bo = 3.114 A?, co = 2.994 A?, αo = βo = 90.5o ± 0.1o, γo = 90o. The proposed unit cell of α′-V8N has dimensions: a = 2√2 ao, c = 2co and corresponds to V32N4. Doublets of nitrogen atoms occupy two sets of octahedral cavities whose shortest axes are aligned along the x and y directions of the sublattice in an ordered fashion. The α″-V8N phase is a periodically twinned modification of the α′-V8N, the twin plane being of the (001) type. The V8O suboxide has the same structure as the α″-V8N, the sublattice parameters being: ao = bo = 3.11 A?, co = 2.994 A?, αo = βo = 90.3o ± 0.1o, γo = 90o.  相似文献

A new oxygen defect perovskite BaLa4Cu5O13.4, characterized by a mixed valence of copper has been isolated; the parameters of the tetragonal cell are closely related to that of the cubic perovskite:a = 8.644(4)A? = ap 5√ and c = 3.867(3) A? = ap. The X-ray diffraction study shows that the atoms are displaced from their ideal positions in the cubic cell, owing to the presence of ordered oxygen vacancies. The study of conductivity, magnetic susceptibility and thermoelectric power versus temperature shows that this oxide is a very good metallic conductor.  相似文献

A number of solid solutions of Me3(PO4)2 in Cd3(PO4)2 have been prepared and equilibrated at 1070 K (Me = Mg, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, or Ca). The respective (Cd1?zMez)3(PO4)2 phases are either isotypic with β′-Cd3(PO4)2 or with the mineral graftonite, both with five- and six- (or even seven)-coordinated cations. The monoclinic unit cell dimensions have been accurately determined from Guinier-Hägg photographs, and complete X-ray powder diffraction data are given for β′-Cd3(PO4)2. The cell volumes are strongly correlated to the size and amount of incorporated Me2+ cation. The homogeneity regions and structures of the (Cd,Me)3(PO4)2 phases, though, seem rather to be controlled by the Cd2+Me2+ cation ordering.  相似文献

The crystal structure of RbLiCl2 [a= 1441.3(3), b= 412.57(8), c= 720.9(1) pm, Guinier-Simon data, orthorhombic, Ccmm, No. 63, Z= 4] was determined and refined from single crystal data, R= 0.074, RW= 0.062. The coordination polyhedron of Rb+ is a bicapped trigonal prism, Li+ is tetrahedrally coordinated. [LiCl4] tetrahedra are connected via common corners to undulated layers 2[LiClc42]? parallel to (100). The structure is closely related to that of SrZnO2.  相似文献

NH4HSO4·NH4H2PO4 is monoclinic P21n with Z = 2 and the following unit cell dimensions : a = 7.723(5), b = 7.540(5), c = 7.482(5) A?, β = 101.32(5)°. Crystal structure of this salt has been solved with a final R value 0.028. Crystals of In23PSe3 were grown by chemical vapor transport of the elements. The phase is structurally related to the hyposelenophosphates, MIIPSe3, but contains both indium atoms and vacancies on the metal ion sites. The compound shows a high electrical resistivity (>108 ohm-cm) and has an optical absorption edge at 1.9 (1) e.V.  相似文献

In copper doped Y2BaZnO5 oxides, copper exhibits a distorted square pyramidal coordination which is consistant with the values of g and A tensors obtained from O band ERS spectrum for a sample containing about 1 % Cu. Three values for g and A are observed, g1 = 2.0495, g2 = 2.0515, g3 = 2.275, ¦A1¦ = 13 10?4cm?1, ¦A2¦ = 10 10?4cm?1 and ¦A3¦ = 147.5 10?4cm?1. Since g1 ? g2 an approximate C4v point symmetry can be assumed for copper. The electronic spectrum shows three bands at 11700, 14500 and 20500 cm?1 which can be assigned to the transitions A1 → B1, B2 → B1 and E → B1 respectively. The orbital reduction parameters are calculated and the bonding covalency is discussed.  相似文献

The orthophosphate solid solution phase, Na5?4x Zr1+x(PO4)3:0.04 ? x ? 0.15 has trigonal symmetry with an apparent one dimensional incommensurate superstructure parallel to cHEX. Using selected area electron diffraction patterns as a guide, an indexing scheme for the powder X-ray data has been devised. The parameter k = csupercellcsubcell varies smoothly with composition from ~ 10.4 at x = 0.04 to ~4.4 at x = 0.11 and is believed to originate in ordering of the extra interstitial Zr4+ ions. The Na+ ion conductivity increases gradually with x and for x = 0.108 varies from ~5×10?8 ohm?1 cm?1 at 25°C to ~1×10?3 ohm?1 cm?1 at 300°C.  相似文献

Europium orthoborate and strontium orthoborate crystallize in the rhombohedral system with two formula units in a cell of dimensions aR=6.697 A?, αR=85.17° for Eu3B2O6, and aR=6.695 A?, αR=85.00° for Sr3B2O6. The equivalent hexagonal lattice parameters are aH=9.069 A?, cH=12.542 A?, and aH=9.046 A?, cH=12.566 A? respectively. Eu3B2O6 appears to be ferromagnetic below 7.5K.  相似文献

The crystal structure of HoRu2Si2 has been determined from single crystal X-ray counter data obtained from a single crystal specimen which was prepared from an arc melted sample heat-treated at 500° C for 4 weeks and quenched. HoRu2Si2 is tetragonal with space group I4/mmm, and cell parameters a=4.1552(9) and c=9.5178(68) A?; Z = 2. The final reliability factor R=solΣΔF|Σ|Fo| is 0.052 for 97 independent reflections; |Fo| > 2 б. HoRu2Si2 is isotypic with the ordered structure type of ThCr2Si2 (BaAl4-derivative type).  相似文献
