In this paper, we present a new method for multicriteria fuzzy decision making based on interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets, where interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy values are used to represent evaluating values of the decision-maker with respect to alternatives. First, we propose a new method for ranking interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy values. Based on the proposed fuzzy ranking method of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy values, we propose a new method for multicriteria fuzzy decision making. The proposed multicriteria fuzzy decision making method outperforms Ye’s method (2009) due to the fact that the proposed method can overcome the drawback of Ye’s method (2009), where the drawback of Ye’s method is that it can not distinguish the ranking order between alternatives in some situations. The proposed method provides us with a useful way for dealing with multicriteria fuzzy decision making problems based on interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. 相似文献

In this paper, firstly we discuss some entropy measures for the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IvIFSs). Then we extend the knowledge measure for the intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) to propose a new interval-valued knowledge measure for the IvIFSs. Based on the proposed knowledge measure we construct a new interval-valued information entropy measure for IvIFSs, which is an extended notion of the entropy measures for IFSs. The proposed knowledge measure is defined as an interval of amounts of knowledge measured on an IvIFS, related to the uncertain information in terms of interval membership degree and interval non-membership degree. In comparison with other existing measures, it seems to be simpler and more intuitively appealing. Several illustrative examples are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed method in handling with the increasing complexity of the decision making problems. 相似文献

This paper presents an interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy permutation method with likelihood-based preference functions for managing multiple criteria decision analysis based on interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. First, certain likelihood-based preference functions are proposed using the likelihoods of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy preference relationships. Next, selected practical indices of concordance/discordance are established to evaluate all possible permutations of the alternatives. The optimal priority order of the alternatives is determined by comparing all comprehensive concordance/discordance values based on score functions. Furthermore, this paper considers various preference types and develops another interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy permutation method using programming models to address multiple criteria decision-making problems with incomplete preference information. The feasibility and applicability of the proposed methods are illustrated in the problem of selecting a suitable bridge construction method. Moreover, certain comparative analyses are conducted to verify the advantages of the proposed methods compared with those of other decision-making methods. Finally, the practical effectiveness of the proposed methods is validated with a risk assessment problem in new product development. 相似文献

This paper proposes Dice measures of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs) and generalized Dice measures of IFSs and IVIFSs, and then indicates the relations of the generalized Dice measures, Dice measures, and projection measures (asymmetric measures) of IFSs and IVIFSs. Furthermore, we develop the generalized Dice measures-based multiple attribute decision-making methods with intuitionistic and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy information. Through the weighted generalized Dice measures between each alternative and the ideal solution (ideal alternative) according to some parameter value selected by decision makers’ preference, all the alternatives can be ranked and the best one can be chosen as well. Finally, an actual example about the selection of manufacturing schemes is provided to demonstrate the applications of the proposed decision-making methods under intuitionistic and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy environments, and then, a comparison analysis is conducted between the developed approach and other existing methods to verify the effectiveness and flexibility of the proposed method. 相似文献

Linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy sets can be regarded as a qualitative form of intuitionistic fuzzy sets. This type of fuzzy sets uses a linguistic membership degree and a linguistic non-membership degree to represent the qualitative preferred and non-preferred judgments of decision makers. Preference relation is a useful and efficient tool for decision making that only requires the decision makers to compare two objects at one time. Taking the advantages of linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy sets and preference relations, this paper introduces linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations (LIFPRs) and studies their application to decision making. To ensure the ranking of objects reasonably, an additive consistency concept is introduced, and several of its desirable properties are discussed. To cope with inconsistent and incomplete LIFPRs, programming model-based methods to derive additively consistent LIFPRs and determine missing values are constructed, respectively. Subsequently, an approach to multi-criteria decision making with LIFPRs is offered, and the application of the new approach is illustrated by using a decision-making problem about evaluating mobile phones. 相似文献

The technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method is a well-known compromising method for multiple criteria decision analysis. This paper develops an extended TOPSIS method with an inclusion comparison approach for addressing multiple criteria group decision-making problems in the framework of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. Considering the relative agreement degrees and the importance weights of multiple decision makers, this paper presents a modified hybrid averaging method with an inclusion-based ordered weighted averaging operation for forming a collective decision environment. Based on the main structure of the TOPSIS method, this paper utilizes the concept of inclusion comparison possibilities to propose a new index for an inclusion-based closeness coefficient for ranking the alternatives. Additionally, two optimization models are established to determine the criterion weights for addressing situations in which the preference information is completely unknown or incompletely known. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed methods are illustrated by a medical group decision-making problem. 相似文献

This article proposes a framework to handle multiattribute group decision making problems with incomplete pairwise comparison preference over decision alternatives where qualitative and quantitative attribute values are furnished as linguistic variables and crisp numbers, respectively. Attribute assessments are then converted to interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IVIFNs) to characterize fuzziness and uncertainty in the evaluation process. Group consistency and inconsistency indices are introduced for incomplete pairwise comparison preference relations on alternatives provided by the decision-makers (DMs). By minimizing the group inconsistency index under certain constraints, an auxiliary linear programming model is developed to obtain unified attribute weights and an interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy positive ideal solution (IVIFPIS). Attribute weights are subsequently employed to calculate distances between alternatives and the IVIFPIS for ranking alternatives. In this paper we propose an entropy measure for interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets, which generalizes three entropy measures defined independently by Szmidt, Wang and Huang, for intuitionistic fuzzy sets. We also give an approach to construct similarity measures using entropy measures for interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. In particular, the proposed entropy measure for interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets can yield a similarity measure. Several illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed formulas. A novel intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) score function and an intuitionistic fuzzy preference relation (IFPR) quantifier guided non-dominance based prioritisation method are introduced. Based on Yager’s continuous OWA (COWA) operator, the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy COWA (IVIF-COWA) operator is defined, and a new attitudinal expected score function for interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IVIFNs) is introduced. The novelty of this attitudinal expected score function is that it allows the comparison of IVIFNs by taking into account of the decision makers’ attitudinal character. Moreover, we show that the new attitudinal expected score function extends: (i) the IFS score function introduced in this paper, which is mathematically equivalent to Chen and Tan’s score function (Chen and Tan, 1994); and (ii) Xu and Chen’s score function for IVIFNs (Xu and Chen, 2007). Using the proposed score functions, a method is developed to construct FPRs from a given IFPR and IVIFPR, respectively. When the hesitancy degree function is null, we prove that the score FPRs coincide with their respective IFPR and IVIFPR. Finally, a ranking sensitivity analysis of the attitudinal expected score function with respect to the attitudinal parameter is provided. 相似文献

Considering that there may exist some interactions between membership function and non-membership function of different intuitionistic fuzzy sets, we present some new operational laws from the probability point of view and give a geometric interpretation of the new operations. Based on which, a new class of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy aggregation operators are developed, including the generalized intuitionistic fuzzy weighted geometric interaction averaging ( GIFWGIA) operator, the generalized intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted geometric interaction averaging ( GIFOWGIA) operator and the generalized intuitionistic fuzzy hybrid geometric interaction averaging ( GIFHGIA) operator. The properties of these new generalized aggregation operators are investigated. Moreover, approaches to multiple attributes decision making are given based on the generalized aggregation operators under intuitionistic fuzzy environment, and an example is illustrated to show the validity and feasibility of new approach. We first review the concept of fuzziness provided by DeLuca and Termini, and the view of fuzziness as related to the lack of distinction between a set and its negation. We then suggest a measure of fuzziness for intuitionistic fuzzy sets. We show that this measure satisfies the required conditions for an intuitionistic measure of fuzziness. A new accuracy function for the theory of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy set, which overcomes some difficulties arising in the existing methods for determining rank of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, is proposed by taking into account the hesitancy degree of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. By comparing it with several proposed accuracy functions, the necessity and efficiency of our accuracy function are provided by giving related examples. A fuzzy multicriteria decision making method is established to select the best alternative in multicriteria decision making process which is taken as interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy set of criterion values for alternatives. While aggregating the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy information corresponding to each alternative, we utilize the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy weighted aggregation operators. Then the accuracy degree of the aggregated interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy information is computed via the new proposed accuracy function. Thus, we can rank all the alternatives according to the accuracy function and choose the optimal one(s). Conceptual design evaluation plays a crucial role in new product development (NPD) and determines the quality of downstream design activities. Currently, most existing methods focus on fuzzy quantitative the evaluation information of multi-objectives in conceptual schemes selection. However, the above process ignores the various customers' preferences for each scheme under the evaluation objective, causing inconsistent preference weights in the various schemes, which cannot guarantee the market value of the optimal scheme. Furthermore, the ambiguous attitude from experts in the early design stage is not well taken into account. To this end, a conceptual scheme decision model with considering diverse customer preference distribution based on interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy set (IVIFS) is proposed. The model is divided into three parts. Firstly, the initial decision matrix of multi-experts concerning the qualitative and quantitative design attributes is constructed based on intuitionistic fuzzy sets, and then the IFS decision matrix with interval boundaries is formed by using rough set technology. Secondly, the mapping model of design attribute to customer preference is constructed, and then the demand preference strategy implied by design attribute is judged. Thirdly, based on the demand preference strategy, the preferences’ weights for each scheme are calculated. Next, integrating the evaluation data with the same preference in the scheme, the comprehensive satisfaction of the scheme is obtained through IVIFS weighted aggregation operator, and then the optimal scheme is decided. Eventually, a case study of mobile phone form feature schemes is further employed to verify the proposed decision model, and results are sensitivity analyzed and compared. 相似文献

The intuitionistic fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (IF-AHP), in which intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are utilized in defining decision makers’ linguistic judgment, has been used to solve various multi-criteria decision-making problems. Previous theories have suggested that interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IVIFN) with hesitation degree can act as alternative fuzzy numbers that can handle vagueness and uncertainty. This paper proposes a new preference scale in the framework of the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (IVIF-AHP). The comparison matrix judgment is expressed in IVIFN with degree of hesitation. The proposed new preference scale concurrently considers the membership function, the non-membership function and the degree of hesitation of IVIFN. To define the weight entropy of the aggregated matrix of IVIFN, a modified interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy weighted averaging is proposed, by considering the interval number of the hesitation degree. Three multi-criteria decision-making problems are used to test the proposed method. A comparison of the results is also presented to check the feasibility of the proposed method. It is shown that the ranking order of the proposed method is slightly different from that of the other two methods because of the inclusion of the hesitation degree in defining the preference scale. 相似文献

The objective of this paper is divided into two folds. Firstly, a new generalized improved score function has been presented in the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs) environment by incorporating the idea of weighted average of the degree of hesitation between their membership functions. Secondly, an IVIFSs based method for solving the multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problem has been presented with completely unknown attribute weights. A ranking of the different attributes is based on the proposed generalized improved score functions and the sensitivity analysis on the ranking of the system has been done based on the decision-making parameters.
