A domain knowledge driven user interface development approach is described.As a conceptual design of the user interface,the domain knowledge defines the user interface in terms of objects,actions and their relationships that the user would use to interact with the application system.It also serves as input to a user interface management system (UIMS) and is the kernel of the target user interface.The principal ideas and the implementation techniques of the approach is discussed.The user interface model,user interface designer oriented high-level specification notatiopn,and the transformation algorithms on domain knowledge are presented.  相似文献

作为用户与系统直接交互的途径,界面设计的好坏将影响用户对系统的第一印象,因此界面设计在软件工程系统设计中十分重要.传统有限状态机在表达复杂的界面状态关系时存在困难.我们引入与或图表示方法来表达初始界面到最终界面的业务流程问题求解过程,建立基于与或逻辑的界面关系模型,并给出模型的逻辑表示,讨论了利用逻辑推理和演绎实现模型语法和语义检查的方法.  相似文献

The development of user interfaces for safety critical systems is driven by requirements specifications. Because user interface specifications are typically embedded within complex systems requirements specifications, they can be intractable to manage. Proprietary requirements specification tools do not support the user interface designer in modelling and specifying the user interface. In this paper, a new way of working with embedded user interface specifications is proposed, exploiting sequence diagrams with a hypertext structure for representing and retrieving use cases. This new tool concept is assessed through an application to the requirements specification for the Airbus A380 air traffic control Datalink system; engineers involved in the development of the Airbus cockpit used a prototype of the tool concept to resolve a set of user interface design anomalies in the requirements specification. The results of the study are positive and indicate the user interface to requirements specification tools which user interface designers themselves need.  相似文献

An adaptive user interface requires identification of user requirements. Interface designers and engineers must understand end-user interaction with the system to improve user interface design. A combination of interviews and observations is applied for user requirement analysis in health information systems (HIS). Then, user preferences are categorized in this paper as either data entry, language and vocabulary, information presentation, or help, warning and feedback. The user preferences in these categories were evaluated using the focus group method. Focus group sessions with different types of HIS users comprising medical staff (with and without computer skills) and system administrators identified each user group’s preference for the initial adaptation of the HIS user interface. User needs and requirements must be identified to adapt the interface to users during data entry into the system. System designers must understand user interactions with the system to identify their needs and preferences. Without this, interface design cannot be adapted to users and users will not be comfortable using the system and eventually abandon its use.  相似文献

该文以炼化企业的动态调度系统为应用背景,以面向动态调度的自适应用户界面的设计与实现为主要研究内容,分析了当前炼化企业动态调度系统用户操作的流程以及界面的需求并建立起相应的数学模型。借鉴自适应用户界面的相关研究成果,设计了自适应用户界面的体系结构以及用户的动态行为过程,针对流程行业的应用特点提出了利用产生式推理和基于上下文的用户意图捕捉的方法,最后给出应用实例。文中所述方法已经成功在企业中得到应用。使用结果表明,该方法能够有效地开发动态调度系统的自适应用户界面,获得满意效果。  相似文献

随着图形用户界面的普及,交互已成为目前软件系统的一个重要特征。与传统的基于字符界面的软件系统相比,基于图形用户界面的软件系统,从某种程序上可看作是一个交互式系统。形式化的规格说明具有精确性,无二义性和一致性等优点,用形式化说明语言来描述交互式系统用户接口的规格说明有很强的实用价值。由于形式化的规格说明的可读很差,因此可以采用标准的对象建模UML来帮助对形式化规格说明的理解。  相似文献

为了降低编写作战环境专用仿真用户界面的繁杂性与重复性,提出了一种战场环境仿真用户界面管理系统;该系统基于有限状态机进行流程控制,利用XML描述用户界面静态布局,在系统运行时,动态生成仿真用户界面,并将该系统成功应用于海域战场环境仿真中;实验结果表明,基于状态机的战场环境仿真用户界面管理系统是具有良好扩展性和使用范围的系统,能够提高战场环境仿真的开发效率。  相似文献

用户界面设计是业务应用系统设计的重要组成部分,验证界面设计正确性与设计用户界面同样重要。界面关系的非直观性和动态性使得界面设计的验证并不容易。以初始界面开始得到最终界面的过程可以看作是规划问题。为此,我们引入情景演算来解决界面设计的验证问题。我们在经典情景演算中引入界面检验机制,用带检验机制的情景演算来表达界面的规划,在规划过程中实现界面设计的验证,最终通过规划结果判断界面设计的正确性。  相似文献

Software systems developed in recent years are becoming increasingly powerful, but in most cases they tend to abandon the user to deal with the complexity of the system alone. There is an immense need for systems with individual, context-sensitive support. The paper discusses the development of such a support system with special focus on the user interface. The extension of an existing and complex program. Excel, to an adaptive and customizable system is described. This extension is called Flexcel, and it has been implemented and evaluated.

The primary aim of this extension is to provide a convenient environment for adapting Excel's user interface to particular users and their current tasks. For example, it allows the user to define new menu for actions that are frequently needed and normally require a tedious dialog step. Flexcel also analyzes the user's interaction style and presents adaptation suggestions. A critique component supports the user in his/her problem solving and learning activities related to the adaptability of Flexcel's user interface.  相似文献

This paper presents a concept of adaptive development of user interfaces in multimodal web-based systems. Today, it is crucial for general access web-based systems that the user interface is properly designed and adjusted to user needs and capabilities. It is believed that adaptive interfaces could offer a possible solution to this problem. Here, we introduce the notion of the user profile for classification, the interface profile for describing the system interface, and the compound usability measure for evaluation of the interface. Consensus-based methods are applied for constructing the interface profiles appropriate to classes of users.  相似文献
