The plasma control system (PCS) plays a vital role at EAST for fusion science experiments. Its software application consists of two main parts: an IDL graphical user interface for setting a large number of plasma parameters to specify each discharge, several programs for performing the real-time feedback control and managing the whole control system. The PCS user interface can be used from any X11 Windows client with privileged access to the PCS computer system. However, remote access to the PCS system via the IDL user interface becomes an extreme inconvenience due to the high network latency to draw or operate the interfaces. In order to realize lower latency for remote access to the PCS system, a web-based system has been developed for EAST recently. The setup data are retrieved from the PCS system and client-side JavaScript draws the interfaces into the user's browser. The user settings are also sent back to the PCS system for controlling discharges. These technologies allow the web-based user interface to be viewed by authorized users with a web browser and have it communicate with PCS server processes directly. It works together with the IDL interface and provides a new way to aid remote participation.  相似文献

The present hardware, firmware, and software design and status of the Fastbus Micro-VAX, a two board Fastbus module packaging of the DEC Micro-VAX II computing system, will be described. The hardware currently features an Intel 80186, equipped with 64 kB of ROM, 32 kB of RAM, and an 82586/82501 Ethernet port, as a front end I/O processor, plus a high bandwidth Fastbus interface implemented in semi-custom ECL 100K VLSI with the Motorola MCA2500ECL macrocell array. Standard 80186 firmware implements multiple Fastbus segment drivers and interrupt receivers software compatible with the UPI, a limited Fastbus interprocessor network, and emulations of the DEC DEQNA Ethernet interface and an MSCP disk interface. Software includes device drivers for the non-DEC devices, plus appropriate standard access subroutines for the Fastbus and network devices. This work is supported by the U. S. 为满足质子诱发碎裂反应研究设备(PISA)中探测器系统测试的需求,研制了一套基于PXI-5105示波器卡的数据获取系统。该系统最高采样率达60M/s,可采集宽度为μs量级的波形信号。系统工作在WindowsXP操作系统下,通过一个简易操作的图形用户界面(GUI)控制。数据的在线显示和分析程序基于CERN的ROOT分析平台。通过实验检验,系统工作稳定,最大数据获取速率达50MB/s。  相似文献

A web-based nuclear reactor simulator has been developed using the best-estimate nuclear system analysis code RELAP5 as its engine, and LabVIEW for graphical user interface and web-casting. Simulator retains the accuracy of the best-estimate code. Results are displayed in user friendly graphical format. Color-coded nominal values are displayed along with the current status of different variables in tab activated windows. Some variables of interest are also shown as a function of time. All graphical outputs are displayed in web browsers making the simulator's front end independent of the operating system. The interactive simulation feature allows the users to simulate specific reactor transients – such as LOCA, scram, etc. – using a single click. Simulator's graphical output can be web-casted and is thus available to anybody with access to the web. Moreover, if permitted, the simulator can be operated remotely from another site connected to the server via the World Wide Web.  相似文献

The Trigger Supervisor is an online software system designed for the CMS experiment at CERN. Its purpose is to provide a framework to set up, test, operate and monitor the trigger components on one hand and to manage their interplay and the information exchange with the run control part of the data acquisition system on the other. The Trigger Supervisor is conceived to provide a simple and homogeneous client interface to the online software infrastructure of the trigger subsystems. The functional and nonfunctional requirements, the design, the operational details, and the components needed in order to facilitate a smooth integration of the trigger software in the context of CMS are described.  相似文献

Testing and validation of the functions and performance of the digital instrumentation and control (I&C) system should be done prior to installation in nuclear power plants. The objective of the I&C Functional Test Facility (FTF) is to test and validate the functions of developed digital control and various monitoring systems. The FTF provides the simulated testing environment as an experimental test bed. The FTF software consists of a mathematical modeling program which simulates a three-loop 993 MWe pressurized water reactor and a supervisory program that comprises all the instructions necessary to run the FTF. The hardware equipment provides an interface between a host computer and a simple test panel or the developed target systems to be tested. The graphical user interface supports an easy and friendly interface between the FTF and users. It is implemented through a Picasso-3 graphic tool developed by the Halden Reactor Project. The FTF is applied to an advanced I&C system prototype, such as an automatic start-up intelligent control system, dynamic alarm system, accident identification system, and intelligent logic tracking system, to test its algorithm or performance. The results of the test show good operational performance of the FTF in normal and transient conditions  相似文献

A FASTBUS based 32-bit computer is being built at Los Alamos National Laboratory for use in systems requiring large fast memory in the FASTBUS environment. A separate local execution bus allows data reduction to proceed concurrently with other FASTBUS operations. The computer, which can operate in either master or slave mode, includes the National Semiconductor NS32032 chip set with demand paged memory management, floating point slave processor, interrupt control unit, timers, and time-of-day clock. The 16.0 megabytes of random access memory are interleaved to allow windowed direct memory access on and off the FASTBUS at 80 megabytes per second.  相似文献

The trigger for the first compact muon solenoid (CMS) tracking beam tests is a dedicated system for analog multiplexed front-end electronics. With this first generation of electronics dedicated to CMS tracker detectors, some new specific development was necessary to read it with a multicrate distributed data acquisition (DAQ) system. The goal of this development was to reach a high scalability of experiment subsystems and a good robustness for test beams. Each subsystem had to be independent from the others, both from the hardware and software point of view. The CMS experiment is currently developing a computing system capable of serving, processing and archiving the large number of events that will be generated when the CMS detector starts taking data. During 2004 CMS undertook a large scale data challenge to demonstrate the ability of the CMS computing system to cope with a sustained data-taking rate equivalent to 25% of startup rate. Its goals were: to run CMS event reconstruction at CERN for a sustained period at 25 Hz input rate; to distribute the data to several regional centers; and enable data access at those centers for analysis. Grid middleware was utilized to help complete all aspects of the challenge. To continue to provide scalable access from anywhere in the world to the data, CMS is developing a layer of software that uses Grid tools to gain access to data and resources, and that aims to provide physicists with a user friendly interface for submitting their analysis jobs. This paper describes the data challenge experience with Grid infrastructure and the current development of the CMS analysis system.  相似文献

Neutral beam injection (NBI) is recognized as one of the most effective means of plasma heating. A virtual instrument (VI) has been designed to provide electrical parameter measurement for the ion source of EAST-NBI. The VI is written using the National Instruments LabVIEW graphical programming language. All data acquisition (DAQ) is accomplished using ADLINK DAQ hardware interface and Task-oriented DAQ Driver. The VI can measure filament voltage, filament current, arc voltage, arc current and accelerating voltage etc. The data obtained from the VI are feedback of the ion source operation state and helpful to direct the operation parameter optimization of the ion source.  相似文献

In this work a core internal vibration monitoring system which is particularly concerned with the core support barrel (CSB) in ULJIN nuclear power plant unit 1 in Korea is developed. Flow induced vibration and aging processes in the reactor internals cause unsoundness of the internal structure. In particular, the loose-joined flange between the top of the CSB and the head of the vessel may result in core or fuel damage accidents. In order to improve the accuracy of the conventional CSB monitoring system, signals from the piezoelectric accelerometers are used in this work instead of those from the ex-core neutron detectors. This work consists of three parts: one is the development of a suitable tool for detecting the hold down spring broken accident or wearing out of the CSB using the Fuzzy (self-organizing neural network) technique; another is the generation of vibration signals to represent the abnormal states of the CSB by finite element method (FEM) analysis and mock-up experiments; the third is the development of a graphical man-machine interface for the practical use of the monitoring system.  相似文献

A hardwired trigger processor was used at the SLAC Hybrid Facility to find evidence for charged tracks originating from the fiducial volume of a 40? rapid-cycling bubble chamber. Straight-line projections of these tracks in the plane perpendicular to the applied magnetic field were searched for using data from three sets of proportional wire chambers (PWC). This information was made directly available to the processor by means of a special digitizing card. The results memory of the processor simulated read-only memory in a 168/E processor and was accessible by it. The 168/E controlled the issuing of a trigger command to the bubble chamber flash tubes. The same design of digitizer card used by the line processor was incorporated into the 168/E, again as read only memory, which allowed it access to the raw data for continual monitoring of trigger integrity. The design logic of the trigger processor was verified by running real PWC data through a FORTRAN simulation of the hardware. This enabled the debugging to become highly automated since a step by step, computer controlled comparison of processor registers to simulation predictions could be made.  相似文献

A versatile and high-performance interface between DEC computers based on VAXBI and FASTBUS has been designed to couple a general-purpose FASTBUS master with a specially developed intelligent module. The hardware capabilities of the interface are discussed, with particular reference to the Aleph event builder (AEB), which is a single-width FASTBUS card based on the MC68020 CPU and the MC68881 floating-point coprocessor, and the AEB-VAX interface. The software, as implemented in the Aleph experiment at the LEP (Large Electron Position) collider, is presented, covering the communication protocol, the software for the high-speed interface to the DEC DRB32 BI adapter, the AEB software, and the VAX software. Neutral beam injection (NBI) heating is one of the most efficient auxiliary plasma heating methods for fusion devices. The data acquisition control system (DACS) with PXI (pe- ripheral component interconnect extensions for instrumentation) data acquisition card for the first NBI system in the experimental advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST) is presented in this paper. As an important sub-system, DACS is designed to obtain physical measurement signals in the EAST NBI system and to deal and store these data with the Lempel-Ziv-Oberhumer (LZO) lossless data compression algorithm, as well as offer convenient data call-back and access inter- faces to the user for examining and analyzing the data. Experimental results show that accurate data will ensure that researchers correctly analyze it and then properly adjust the experimental parameters or operation, so DACS should take a large step in improving experimental efficiency. Tile hardware and software sections are briefly presented in this paper, and now this system has been tested to be able to work reliably and steadily.  相似文献
