STUDY DESIGN: A retrospective cohort of 2425 workers with compensated back conditions was created from the 1991 compensated cohort of the largest compensation insurer in Michigan by linking computerized information on social and demographic factors, diagnostic and management procedures, and cumulative missed worktime. OBJECTIVE: To describe medical care use from date of injury in 1991 to mid-1993 by type of back condition, to identify factors affecting this use, to determine the effect of alternative model selection strategies on identifying such factors, to investigate the timing of surgery and the use of diagnostic studies in patients with displaced or herniated discs with and without surgery, and to compare the use of medical care in the study group with that recommended by national expert panels. SUMMARY OF BACKGROUND DATA: Despite the enormous costs involved in medical care for patients with work-related back injuries, almost no information on the use of medical care is available for compensated back injuries by diagnostic and procedure code. METHODS: Use of medical care was grouped into 18 categories for tabulation. Factors affecting use of medical care were identified by logistic regression, supplemented by Cox analysis for time to first procedure. The Hosmer-Lemeshow chi-square statistic was compared with the Bayes Information Criterion for evaluating model fit. Overall model utility was evaluated by comparing receiver operating characteristic curves generated by the model. For patients with displaced or herniated discs, algorithms were used to identify the diagnostic procedures performed before and after the first surgery and the amount of time that passed before each procedure was performed. RESULTS: In patients with diagnoses of disc displacement or herniation or vertebrogenic neuritis, approximately 80% underwent radiography to obtain plain views of the spine, 75% underwent diagnostic imaging, 45% underwent electrodiagnostic procedures, and 24% underwent spinal surgery (29.3% had surgical procedures among those with disc conditions). In patients with diagnoses of back sprain or other symptomatic diagnoses, the percentages for the first three procedures are approximately 70%, 12%, and 12%, respectively. Diagnostic category, age, gender, and cumulative missed worktime predicted the receipt of diagnostic and treatment procedures. Women were 30% less likely to undergo computed axial tomography or magnetic resonance imaging and 50% less likely to undergo spinal surgery. Median time to spinal surgery was twice as long in the group that underwent diagnostic imaging and electrodiagnostic testing before surgery (134.5 days). Of the 622 patients with disc displacement/herniation, 510 (approximately 80%) had initial diagnostic imaging studies, and, of the 510, 162 (approximately 30%) had surgery. Thirteen (8%) were reoperated. Of the 162 patients who had surgery, 46 (approximately 30%) had follow-up diagnostic imaging, and, of the 46, nine (approximately 20%) were reoperated. Of the 348 managed conservatively, 96 (approximately 30%) had follow-up diagnostic imaging. CONCLUSIONS: The data suggest only modest differences in the use of medical care between this study group and noncompensated study populations from previous reports. The authors of this study estimate that 27% of diagnostic imaging studies and 43% of plain radiography of the spine could have been avoided if then available Canadian recommendations or current American, guidelines had been followed. The gender effect remains unexplained and needs to be investigated in additional studies. There was an increase of 6% in the use of surgery in compensated patients compared with the use of surgery in a recent American series involving traditional health insurance, but this may be associated with greater work disability in the compensated group. National and state estimates of the severity of occupational injuries and illnesses (severity = lost work time = missed work days+restricted work days) have come from the annual Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses (Survey) produced by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. However, we show that the Survey practice of collecting injury information soon after the accident year reduces substantially the accuracy of missed work day estimates, which constitute 85.3% of the Survey lost work time estimate. To develop an independent estimate of missed work days, the research team created the Michigan Comprehensive Compensable Occupational Injury Database (Michigan Database) by linking state files with injury characteristics to files with workers' compensation information for injuries occurring in 1986. The measure of missed work time (days, weeks, or years) is the cumulative duration of compensation from the "date disability commenced," noted on the first payment form, through follow-up to March 1, 1990. Cumulative missed work time has been calculated or estimated for 72,057 injured workers, more than 97% of the 73,609 Michigan workers with compensable occupational injuries in 1986 identified through the close of the study. Our "best" estimate of missed work days, to follow-up, attributable to both fatal and nonfatal compensable occupational injuries and illnesses is 7,518,784, a figure four times that reported for Michigan by the Survey. When insurance industry data on disbursements are also considered, the estimate of missed work days increases to 8,919,079, a figure 4.75 times that reported by the Survey. When insurance data on reserves for future payments are also considered, the estimate of missed work days increases to 16,103,398, a figure 8.58-fold greater than that obtained for Michigan in the Survey. The Michigan data suggest that the national Survey may have failed to identify almost 373 million of 421 million missed work days in the private sector that have resulted, or will result, from 1986 occupational injuries. The present federal/state system for estimating occupational injury severity by measuring lost work days seriously underestimates the magnitude of the problem. The current policy of obtaining incidence and severity data from the same Survey should be reconsidered. We recommend that national estimates of injury severity be obtained from representative states by using state compensation data and that such estimates be used to evaluate current prevention and rehabilitation strategies. The redesigned occupational safety and health Survey (ROSH Survey) should be revised to permit linkage to compensation data.  相似文献

Pain drawings were obtained from three groups of patients: 51 with lumbar disc herniation; 55 with lumbar stenosis, and 42 with benign low back pain. On grid assessment, patients with disc herniation and stenosis who complained of radiating pain or intermittent claudication had a significantly larger number of grids for the extremities than those with benign low back pain. In studies of the relation between the characteristics of the pain drawing and the outcome of treatment, most patients with 19 grids or less, or a score of 3 points or less, had a satisfactory outcome. Those with more grids or a higher score tended to be unsatisfactory. Pain drawing permits differentiation of the three patterns of pain and is useful for predicting the outcome of treatment.  相似文献

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the sources reporting hospitalized spinal cord injury cases to the statewide, population-based surveillance system in Colorado for the year 1994. Three reporting sources were evaluated: clinical contact persons, medical records departments, and a centralized statewide hospital discharge database. Two evaluation strategies were utilized; these include both measures of accuracy and estimates of missed cases. For the latter, capture-recapture techniques were used to estimate the number of hospitalized spinal cord injury cases missed by all three reporting sources. The clinical contact persons reported 84 confirmed cases, missed 80 confirmed cases, and reported 10 cases that were later determined not to have spinal cord injuries, resulting in a sensitivity of 0.51. Medical records departments and the discharge database reported 143 and 147 cases, respectively, missed 21 and 17 confirmed cases, and reported 118 and 69 cases that were later determined not to be cases of hospitalized injuries of the spinal cord, resulting in sensitivities of 0.87 and 0.90. Capture-recapture results indicate all three sources combined missed an estimated 1-5 cases, yielding a total annual incidence rate for hospitalized spinal cord injury ranging from 45.1 to 46.3 per million population.  相似文献

Low back pain is generally believed to be common among hospital employees. This cross-sectional, retrospective study was carried out to determine the annual incidence of low back pain ascribable to occupational injuries in hospital employees and to evaluate factors influencing the prognosis of these injuries. In 1989, 70 employees working at the Grenoble Teaching Hospital (GTH) reported an occupational injury responsible for low back pain. Each of these employees filled out an epidemiological questionnaire during a routine evaluation by a rheumatologist. Overall annual incidence of occupational injuries with subsequent low back pain was 1.9% among GTH employees. Higher incidences were seen among employees whose occupations involved patient transfer, as well as among nursing assistants. Activities associated with an increased risk of low back pain included handling of patients or objects and work requiring prolonged periods in uncomfortable positions or in the standing position. A previous history of low back disease and a longer period of time in the current work were also associated with an increased risk of low back pain. Characteristic clinical profiles of patients with low back pain subsequent to occupational injury were determined by occupation and type of hospital department. The analysis of long-duration absence from work and long-term consequences on career confirmed the significant adverse socioeconomic impact of these injuries.  相似文献

A consecutive series of 16 children from 9 to 18 years old, with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation who were treated surgically in Department of Neurosurgery Medical Academy in Poznań, between 1978-1992, was analysed. The clinical symptoms, X-ray assessment, type of operation and outcome are reviewed. In our analysis characteristic features of disc herniation in children are: the onset of pain due to violent injury in relation to lifting, bilateral neurological symptoms and radiculography imaging central intervertebral disc herniation.  相似文献

The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the accuracy of data regarding diagnoses of spinal disorders in administrative databases at eight different institutions. The records of 189 patients who had been managed for a disorder of the lumbar spine were independently reviewed by a physician who assigned the appropriate diagnostic codes according to the International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM). The age range of the 189 patients was seventeen to eighty-four years. The six major diagnostic categories studied were herniation of a lumbar disc, a previous operation on the lumbar spine, spinal stenosis, cauda equina syndrome, acquired spondylolisthesis, and congenital spondylolisthesis. The diagnostic codes assigned by the physician were compared with the codes that had been assigned during the ordinary course of events by personnel in the medical records department of each of the eight hospitals. The accuracy of coding was also compared among the eight hospitals, and it was found to vary depending on the diagnosis. Although there were both false-negative and false-positive codes at each institution, most errors were related to the low sensitivity of coding for previous spinal operations: only seventeen (28 per cent) of sixty-one such diagnoses were coded correctly. Other errors in coding were less frequent, but their implications for conclusions drawn from the information in administrative databases depend on the frequency of a diagnosis and its importance in an analysis. This study demonstrated that the accuracy of a diagnosis of a spinal disorder recorded in an administrative database varies according to the specific condition being evaluated. It is necessary to document the relative accuracy of specific ICD-9-CM diagnostic codes in order to improve the ability to validate the conclusions derived from investigations based on administrative databases.  相似文献

OBJECTIVES: To define the current causes and the optimal methods of early diagnosis and management of ureteric injuries, both iatrogenic (excluding endourologic) and traumatic, and to determine the outcome of these injuries and which identifiable factors affect this outcome. METHODS: A retrospective analysis was performed of all the 35 patients who sustained 40 ureteric injuries over a 5-year period (1991-1996). The methods used for diagnosis and management were reviewed. The outcome was assessed in terms of preservation of renal function. RESULTS: The study group was composed of 28 patients with 32 iatrogenic injuries and 7 patients with 8 injuries caused by external trauma. Gynecologic procedures accounted for 63% (20 of 32) of the iatrogenic injuries, whereas motor vehicle crashes accounted for 75% of the external injuries (6 of 8 injuries). The successful diagnostic rate for direct inspection (intraoperatively), intravenous urogram, retrograde pyelogram, and anterograde pyelogram were 33% for the former two and 100% for the latter two. Treatment consisted of primary open repair in 26 cases, a staged procedure in 7 cases, and endoscopic stenting in 5 cases. Of 36 cases with follow-up, complications developed in 9 cases (25%), 7 cases of which were corrected surgically. Overall incidence of nephrectomy was 8%, and the factors that seemed to affect the outcome adversely were pediatric age (< or =12 years), injury to upper ureter, delay in recognition, the presence of a urinoma, and/or associated organ injury. CONCLUSION: Iatrogenic trauma is the leading cause of ureteric injuries. The single controllable factor adversely affecting the outcome of this rather uncommon injury seems to be delayed diagnosis. Wound inspection and intravenous urogram are not reliable for early and accurate diagnosis, and a retrograde pyelogram or an anterograde pyelogram may be needed. Uncontrollable factors adversely affecting the outcome include young age, injury to upper ureter, and associated injuries all seen in association with external trauma rather than iatrogenic injuries.  相似文献

Low back injury     
Low back injuries occur commonly in tennis, but the pathophysiologic, biomechanical, and clinical characteristics are not well defined. Tennis players may be at an increased risk of lumbar disc pathology from rotational and hyperextension shearing effects. Treatment of low back injury at present is empiric, but sport-specific lumbar stabilization and unloading of the lumbar disc should be developed. Prospective longitudinal research protocols are needed to study the lumbar spine in tennis players.  相似文献

STUDY DESIGN: The outcome of a herniated disc in patients with cervical myelopathy treated by laminoplasty without discectomy and in those treated conservatively was studied by magnetic resonance imaging. OBJECTIVES: To compare the surgical results of laminoplasty with those of anterior spinal fusion in patients with myelopathy caused by to cervical disc herniation and to make a treatment strategy for cervical disc herniation depending on these results. SUMMARY OF BACKGROUND DATA: Anterior discectomy and spinal fusion have had acceptable surgical results, but many complications have been reported, especially adjacent segment degeneration and bone graft complications. METHODS: Forty-seven patients with cervical disc herniation were examined in this study. Of them, 32 patients (mean age, 56 years) underwent laminoplasty without resection of the herniated disc. Seven patients with mild cervical myelopathy and 8 patients with radiculopathy (mean age, 53 years) were treated conservatively. As a control group, 44 patients (mean age, 50.3 years) who underwent anterior spinal fusion were examined. All patients in the laminoplasty group also had congenital spinal canal stenosis in which the ventrodorsal canal diameter was less than 13 mm. The association between the outcome of a herniated disc and clinical features was investigated. The severity of myelopathy was evaluated according to the Japanese Orthopaedic Association's scoring system. Surgical outcomes were evaluated by the system of Hirabayashi for determining recovery rate. RESULTS: The recovery rate averaged 67.9% in laminoplasty and 68.8% in anterior spinal fusion. There were no significant differences between the groups. No patients underwent anterior spinal fusion after laminoplasty. Follow-up magnetic resonance imaging showed regression of the size of the herniated disc in 15 of the 20 patients in the laminoplasty group and in 12 of 15 patients treated conservatively. In the MRI studies of the natural course of disc herniation, the size of the herniated disc decreased to almost half in 1 to 2 months and almost disappeared within 3 months after surgery. CONCLUSIONS: The size of the herniated disc in cervical lesions regressed as it does in the lumbar lesions. Laminoplasty for patients with narrowed spinal canals showed favorable surgical results. Therefore, the therapeutic method for cervical disc herniation should be chosen after taking the natural history of the disc herniation into consideration.  相似文献

Surveillance for parachute-related injuries was conducted at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, between May 1993 and December 1994. During this 20-month period, lower-extremity injuries (27% of all injuries), axial skeletal (back and neck) strains and sprains (19.3%), and closed head injuries (18.4%) were the leading causes of injury. The incidence of injuries requiring emergency care was 8/1,000 jumps. This rate is well within the jump injury planning estimate, suggesting that airborne training and operations are conducted in a safe and effective manner at Fort Bragg.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: To estimate the annual incidence, the mortality and the direct and indirect costs associated with occupational injuries and illnesses in the United States in 1992. DESIGN: Aggregation and analysis of national and large regional data sets collected by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the National Council on Compensation Insurance, the National Center for Health Statistics, the Health Care Financing Administration, and other governmental bureaus and private firms. METHODS: To assess incidence of and mortality from occupational injuries and illnesses, we reviewed data from national surveys and applied an attributable risk proportion method. To assess costs, we used the human capital method that decomposes costs into direct categories such as medical and insurance administration expenses as well as indirect categories such as lost earnings, lost home production, and lost fringe benefits. Some cost estimates were drawn from the literature while others were generated within this study. Total costs were calculated by multiplying average costs by the number of injuries and illnesses in each diagnostic category. RESULTS: Approximately 6500 job-related deaths from injury, 13.2 million nonfatal injuries, 60,300 deaths from disease, and 862,200 illnesses are estimated to occur annually in the civilian American workforce. The total direct ($65 billion) plus indirect ($106 billion) costs were estimated to be $171 billion. Injuries cost $145 billion and illnesses $26 billion. These estimates are likely to be low, because they ignore costs associated with pain and suffering as well as those of within-home care provided by family members, and because the numbers of occupational injuries and illnesses are likely to be undercounted. CONCLUSIONS: The costs of occupational injuries and illnesses are high, in sharp contrast to the limited public attention and societal resources devoted to their prevention and amelioration. Occupational injuries and illnesses are an insufficiently appreciated contributor to the total burden of health care costs in the United States.  相似文献

Variables were studied which predict at the acute stage the functional and occupational long-term outcome for patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI). Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score on hospital admission, length of coma (LOC) and duration of post-traumatic amnesia (PTA) were studied in a group of 508 TBI rehabilitation patients, age 0.8-71, mean age 19, followed up between five and over 20 years, mean of 12 years. Information from hospital charts and all data available before and after the injury were gathered and reviewed. The study was carried out among a consecutive sample of Finnish patients with TBI referred to a rehabilitation programme at the out-patient neurological clinic of Kauniala Hospital, which specializes in brain injuries in Finland. The patients came from various hospital districts in the country for an evaluation of their educational and vocational problems. Main outcome measures were functional outcome, as measured by the Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS) at the end of follow-up, and post-injury occupational outcome. The patients' reemployment on the open job marklet, subsidized employment or inability to work was noted. The GCS score on hospital admission correlated clearly with the functional outcome of the patients at the end of follow-up. Length of coma and duration of post-traumatic amnesia correlated specifically with the patient's work history after the brain injury and with functional outcome measured by the GOS. Outcomes varied among age groups and seemed to be affected by age at injury. Accordingly, the extent of recovery and quality of life for rehabilitation patients with TBI can be estimated early on by prognostic factors reflecting injury severity in the acute phase. The results suggest that the GCS score, LOC and duration of PTA all have a strong predictive value in assessing functional or occupational outcome for TBI patients.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to investigate possible relationships between the incidence of sports injury and the existence of body mechanics defects in players of various codes of football. Injuries were recorded prospectively over a 24 month period. Fifteen aspects of body mechanics were evaluated at the start of the study using a specially developed photogrammetric technique known to have high reliability and sensitivity. It was found that subjects who suffered from ankle injuries had lower mean scores for ankle mechanics than the non-injured players. Knee injuries were found to be associated with lumbar lordosis and sway back. Subjects who suffered from muscle strains had a higher incidence of lumbar lordosis, sway back and abnormal knee inter-space. Back injuries were associated with poor shoulder symmetry, scapulae abduction, back asymmetry, kyphosis, lordosis and scoliosis. Subjects who suffered from two or more injuries had lower overall body mechanics scores than the other subjects. In general, it was found that the incidence of ankle, back, knee and muscle injuries was influenced by the presence of defects of body mechanics. These results suggest that intervention to improve body mechanics would be likely to reduce the incidence of sports injuries in football.  相似文献

The diagnosis of herniated intervertebral disc is often made in cases of radicular pain in the low back, the neck, or sciatica or brachialgia. Practitioners often call upon radiologic imaging to confirm this diagnosis. But on radiologic examination, such a herniation may consist of a bulge, protrusion, prolapse, extension, extrusion or sequestration of this disc. We define and illustrate these terms from the literature. We then review the radiologic studies of normal controls, who have never had sciatica, brachialgia or pain in the low back or neck. In over one-quarter of these controls, studies using the plain x-ray, CT scan, myelogram, and MRI show various radiologic signs of a herniated intervertebral disc. We therefore recommend that practitioners should not exclusively rely on radiologic imaging to confirm the clinical diagnosis of a herniated intervertebral disc.  相似文献

RATIONALE AND OBJECTIVES: The authors evaluate the functional changes in patients with cervical radiculopathy and increasing symptoms after provocative maneuvers at flexion, extension, axial rotation, and coupled motions of the cervical spine. METHODS: Twenty-one patients with cervical disc herniation (n = 17) or cervical spondylosis (n = 4) in whom symptoms were elicited at flexion, extension, axial rotation, and coupled motions of the cervical spine were studied. The patients were examined inside a positioning device by using a circular surface coil for signal reception. At neutral position (0 degrees) and at provocative positions sagittal T2-weighted turbo spin-echo, axial T2-weighted two-dimensional flash sequence, sagittal three-dimensional (3D) fast imaging with steady state precision sequence and coronal 3D double-echo-in-the-steady-state sequences were obtained. The 3D sequences were reformatted in the axial and oblique coronal planes perpendicular to the exiting nerve roots. The images were evaluated for the size of disc herniations, the foraminal size and cervical cord rotation or displacement at provocative position compared with neutral position (0 degrees). RESULTS: Compared with neutral position (0 degrees), change in size of disc herniation was not found in any (0%) of the provocative positions. In five (24%) patients cervical cord rotation or displacement was noted at axial rotation. The foraminal size increased at flexion, axial rotation to the opposite side of pain and flexion combined with axial rotation to the opposite side of the pain. The foraminal size decreased at extension combined with axial rotation to the side of the pain. A decrease or no change in foraminal size was observed at either extension or axial rotation to the side of the pain. CONCLUSIONS: In patients with cervical disc herniation or cervical spondylosis, exacerbated pain at defined provocative maneuvers is related more to changes in the foraminal size and to nerve root motion with, in some cases, cervical cord rotation or displacement than to changes in the size of herniated discs.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Intraradicular or intradural disc herniation is a very rare complication of spinal degenerative processes. The aim of our study is to analyze the clinical spectrum, the mechanism, and the treatment of this acute spinal pathology. METHODS: Retrospective clinical examination was performed in nine personal cases of intradural disc herniation: among these, six were associated with lateral perforation, the remaining three with intradural herniation and ventral perforation. A review of the literature concerning mainly the frequency pathogenesis and diagnosis of intradural disc herniation has also been done. RESULTS: Nine cases of intradural herniations comprise 1.51% of the 593 cases of ruptured lumbar disc that underwent surgery from 1980 to 1992. The site most frequently involved is at level L4-L5, and 30% of patients have previously undergone surgery for lumbar disc herniation. Most patients reported in literature and in our present series have been complaining of a chronic history of sciatica, complicated later by bilateral neurologic signs. In the present series, diagnosis was obtained by means of myelography and computerized tomography; magnetic resonance imaging was performed in one case. All patients underwent surgery, reporting excellent results in five cases and good results in the other four. Surgery was performed either with an interlaminar approach or with a bilateral laminectomy in cases of ventral perforation. CONCLUSIONS: There is no typical neuroradiologic picture of intraradicular herniation, while a total or subtotal block is frequently observed in intradural ventral perforations. Dural perforation is often an unexpected intraoperative finding. Surgical treatment is always necessary. Favorable results are obtained if surgical treatment is carried out before the neurologic deficit becomes too pronounced.  相似文献

STUDY DESIGN: A clinical prospective cohort study of 15 healthy volunteers and 25 patients with unilateral sciatica from single-level disc herniation. OBJECTIVES: To detect any changes in the cross-sectional area of the psoas major muscle in patients with single-level (lateral to mediolateral) disc herniation causing unilateral sciatica. SUMMARY OF BACKGROUND DATA: The exact role of the psoas major muscle in the origin of low back pain and sciatica has not been clarified. METHODS: Fifteen healthy volunteers and 25 patients with unilateral sciatica from single-level disc herniation were subjected to magnetic resonance imaging of the lumbar spine. The cross-section area of the psoas major muscle on either side was recorded, and differences were noted. In patients, the cross-section area of either side was compared with and duration of sciatica was related to changes in the cross-section area. RESULTS: Insignificant variation in the cross-section area of the psoas major was observed in volunteers. In the patient group, significant reduction in the cross-section area of the psoas major was observed at the level and the site of the disc herniation. A significant correlation between cross-section area of the psoas major and ipsilateral continuous sciatica was found. There was no relation between the reduction of the cross-section area and the amount of disc herniation. CONCLUSION: The cross-section area of the psoas major is ipsilaterally decreased in unilateral lumbar disc herniation. The reduction in cross-section area is positively correlated with the duration of continuous sciatica.  相似文献

Due to spine-loading activities nursing professionals have a relatively high incidence/prevalence of low back pain. As lumbar disc disorders can be regarded as occupational diseases (since January 1993, occupational disease BK 2108, normally more than 10 years of exposition, lumbar disc disorders with pain and reduced motility) international literature is reviewed. Own results of different prevalence-, case-control- and incidence studies (relative risk for lumbago sciatica/odds ratio for disc prolaps appr. 3-6 depending on age and occupational age) are presented. The purpose of this paper is twofold: (1) to determine jobs/tasks associated with current injury, illness, and fatality trends in the roofing industry; and (2) to identify current safety practices associated with the prevention of these illnesses, injuries, and fatalities. In order to achieve the project objectives, a survey was designed and sent to Michigan roofing contractors. To design an adequate survey, the research team first collected background information using U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics online database, published research, and contractor interviews. Of the 48 roofing companies asked to participate, 24 completed the survey. The survey results indicated that hand and finger injuries due to cutting operations and back injuries due to the manual handling of heavy and bulky materials to be the most frequent roofing contracting task/injury combination. Falls from elevations as well as on the same level typically occurred when carrying heavy and bulky materials such as bundles of shingles on slippery and inclined walking/working surfaces. These findings from this study may assist safety professionals in the construction industry in making effective changes for improving safety and productivity.  相似文献
