连续相位调制(CPM)的调制参数对信号的功率谱特性具有直接的影响。研究两者之间的关系,对优选调制参数,改善CPM的调制性能具有重要的指导意义。给出基于经典谱估计的CPM信号功率谱密度估计方法,该方法适用于任意形式的CPM信号,可利用FFT快速实现。利用该方法,仿真并分析了各种调制参数对CPM信号功率谱及带宽的影响,为实际应用中调制参数的选择提供了参考。 相似文献

连续相位调制(CPM)技术是一类恒包络的数字调制技术,CPM信号的恒包络这一特性使它们对于非线性信道和衰落信道具有很强的抵抗性.特别适用于卫星通信和移动无线通信信道。与PSK调制方式相比,CPM调制系统不仅能够提供较高的频谱效率,而且具有一定的编码增益,这是因为接收器可以利用相位成型滤波器引入的记忆特性。CPM调制系统可以分解为一个连续相位编码器(CPE)和一个无记忆调制器(MM)的级联,因此出现了多种卷积码与CPM结合的调制方案,例如串行级联连续相位调制、基于环的串行级联连续相位调制、实用的连续相位调制、卷积编码器与扩展信道编码器的串行级联,等等。其中,基于环的串行级联连续相位调制具有很好的性能,在交织增益、自由距离、误码平层和收敛门限可能成为未来连续相位编码调制系统的发展方向。 相似文献

为解决传统多调制指数连续相位调制(Multi-h CPM)实现复杂度高和调制指数同步困难的问题,提出一种软扩频Multi-h CPM信号设计方法。利用单调制指数软扩频获得Multi-h CPM类似的相位轨迹和性能增益,伪码捕获的同时实现调制指数同步;推导了软扩频Multi-h CPM欧氏距离表达式,搜索获得了h=5/7时的最小欧氏距离,与直接序列扩频单调制指数CPM(DSSS Single-h CPM)信号相比,至少可获得0.5 dB的欧氏距离增益。基于极大似然序列检测(MLSD)的同步解扩解调算法,仿真了h=5/7的软扩频Multi-h CPM误码性能,与DSSS Single-h CPM信号相比,在BER=10–5时,可获得1.5 dB性能增益,且性能优于美军WGS系统和ARTM Tier II系统采用的Multi-h CPM信号。 相似文献

椭圆球面波信号(PSWF)是时频域最佳能量聚集性信号,探索性地将PSWF信号应用于连续相位调制(CPM)技术,对基于椭圆球面波信号的CPM调制信号产生过程进行了描述;给出了采用自相关函数法对基于PSWF的CPM调制信号功率谱密度计算方法;结合数值计算、分析对比了最小频移键控、正弦频移键控、高斯最小频移键控以及基于高斯函数的CPM调制信号功率谱密度及其信号占用带宽等特性。数值计算结果表明椭圆球面波信号相比矩形脉冲、升余弦脉冲、高斯脉冲及(类)高斯脉冲作为CPM的基带调频信号,可以获得频谱性能、能量聚集性较好的CPM信号。 相似文献

Existing space-time codes have focused on multiple- antenna systems with linear modulation schemes such as phase- shift keying and quadrature amplitude modulation. Continuous phase modulation (CPM) is an attractive scheme for digital transmission because of its constant envelope which is needed for power efficient transmitters. Recent research has shown that space-time coded CPM can achieve transmit diversity to improve performance while maintaining the compact spectrum of CPM signals. However, these efforts mainly combine space- time coding (STC) with CPM to achieve spatial diversity at the cost of a high decoding complexity. In this paper, we design space-time block codes (STBC) for binary CPM with modulation index h = 1/2 and derive low-complexity receivers for these systems. The proposed scheme has a much lower decoding complexity than STC CPM with the Viterbi decoder and still achieves near-optimum error performances. 相似文献

The authors consider a communication scheme based on continuous phase modulated (CPM) signals used in conjunction with trellis-coded modulation (TCM) for transmission over a channel affected by Gaussian noise and fading. This scheme provides a power saving due to the coding gain of TCM and a reduced bandwidth occupancy due to the features of CPM signals. Moreover, CPM provides constant-envelope signals. To keep the complexity of the receiver manageable and to be able to use interleaving/deinterleaving techniques to spread the fade bursts, suboptimal detection schemes must be used. Two such schemes, based on coherent and noncoherent detection of CPM, are considered. A novel signal generation concept for continuous phase modulations (CPMs) with modulation index 1/2 based on real impulses is presented. With this concept, bandpass CPM signals can be generated directly in one step instead of the two consecutive steps, namely, the generation of the complex envelope and the modulation of the carrier by the complex envelope, which are necessary in conventional signal generators. Mathematical expressions for both the real impulses and the bandpass CPM signals are derived and a simple modulator structure is discussed. Examples for the real impulses are given. Among these are the well-known CPM schemes of minimum shift keying (MSK), sinusoidal frequency shift keying (SFSK), and Gaussian minimum shift keying (GMSK). Continuous phase modulation (CPM) schemes are bandwidth and energy efficient constant-envelope modulation schemes that can be viewed as a continuous-phase encoder (CPE) followed by a memoryless modulator (MM), where the CPE is of convolutional type. It is observed that CPM schemes can be catastrophic in the sense that pairs of input sequences that differ in an infinite number of positions can be mapped into pairs of signals with finite Euclidean distance. This can happen in spite of the fact that the CPE is never catastrophic when considered as a stand alone convolutional encoder. The necessary and sufficient condition for a general CPM scheme to be catastrophic is given. Each member of the two major families of CPM schemes, namely the LREC and the LRC, has been classified as a catastrophic or noncatastrophic scheme. For the catastrophic schemes, the probability that a catastrophic event occurs is determined. A canonical precoder which transforms each scheme of both families into an equivalent noncatastrophic scheme is derived. The equivalent noncatastrophic scheme has the same number of states as the original one. 针对高阶部分响应连续相位调制(CPM)信号盲定时同步中存在定时精度较低以及容易出现假锁等问题,该文从脉冲幅度调制(PAM)分解的角度出发,设计了一种新的适用于高阶部分响应CPM信号的定时同步器结构,并在此基础上结合基于马尔科夫链模型的定时假锁检测方法,提出了一种适用于高阶部分响应CPM信号的盲定时同步算法.该算法通过对CPM信号的PAM脉冲进行优化处理,有效减少了匹配滤波器以及网格状态的数目,同时使用辅助定时误差检测器和假锁检测器来实时监测假锁现象.理论分析和仿真结果表明,对于四阶部分响应CPM信号,在低信噪比并存在较大初始定时误差条件下,该算法也能够实现精确快速的定时同步. 相似文献
