The prompt fission neutron spectra for the neutron induced fission of 238U are calculated in the incident energy range where only the first fission chance is involved using the multi-modal fission theory. The partial spectra of each fission mode are calculated on the basis of Los Alamos model and the total spectrum is calculated by superposition of partial spectra weighted with the respective probability of occurrence. The total fission spectra obtained in this manner are in good agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

A new neutron-induced cross-section evaluation of 238U from 1 keV up to 200 MeV has been performed using only nuclear reactions models. A new fission penetrability model taking into account a triple humped barrier has been developed. A clear improvement has been observed for K-effective validation tests (up to 30 MeV) with this new evaluation. This improvement is mainly due to a better treatment of the inelastic exit channel.  相似文献

In the present work, an attempt to improve the evaluation of the prompt fission neutron spectrum of 252Cf(SF) is made. The multi-modal fission concept is included into the Los Alamos model. A more generalized form of the fission fragment residual nuclear temperature distribution and a possible anisotropy effect of the prompt neutron emission in the center-of-mass system are taken into account, too. The multi-modal fission parameters entering the prompt fission neutron spectrum model are determined on the basis of the experimental data concerning the fission fragment total kinetic energy TKE(A) and mass distribution Y(A) measured at IRMM. The calculated prompt neutron spectrum is obtained in better agreement with the standard point-wise evaluation of Mannhart and compared to other evaluations made with different models.  相似文献

Knowledge of actinides(n,f) fission process induced by neutron is of importance in the field of nuclear power and nuclear engineering,especially for reactor applications.In this work,fission characteristics of~(238)U(n,f) reaction induced by D-T neutron source were simulated with Geant4 code from multiple perspectives,including the fission production yields,total nubar,kinetic energy distribution,fission neutron spectrum and cumulative γ-ray spectrum of the fission products.The simulation results agree well with the experimental nuclear reaction data(EXFOR) and evaluated nuclear data(ENDF).Mainly,this work was to examine the rationality of the parametric nuclear fission model in Geant4 and to direct our future experimental measurements for the cumulative fission yields of ~(238)U(n,f) reaction.  相似文献

Angular and energy distribution measurements obtained by means of a gridded, double pulse ionization chamber are reported for fragments from the fission of U238 by 14 MeV neutrons and by photons with Emax=85 MeV. The data for neutron-induced reactions are indispensable in a lot of applications of nuclear science and technologies. All reaction cross sections, angular distributions, energy spectra, and double-differential cross sections of neutron, proton, deuteron, triton, and alpha-particle emissions are consistently calculated and analyzed for n+~(23)Na reactions at incident neutron energies below200 Me V, based on nuclear theoretical models. The calculated results are compared with the experimental data and the evaluated data in the ENDF/B-VII, JENDL-4.0,and JEFF-3.2 libraries. In most cases, the calculated results describe the corresponding experimental data well. At the resonance energy region, evaluated experimental data are adopted to fit to the resonance structures.  相似文献

This work is aim at studying the dependence of fission yields on incident neutron energy,so as to produce evaluated yield sets of the energy dependence.Experimental data at different neutron energies for gas fission products 85m,87,88Kr and 138Xe resulting from the 238U(n,f) reaction are processed using codes AVERAGE for weighed average and ZOTT for simultaneous evaluation.Energy dependence of the cumulative fission product yields on the incident neutron is presented.The evaluated curve of product yield is compared with the results calculated by the TALYS-0.64 code.The present evaluation is consistent with other main libraries in error permission.The fit curve of 87,88Kr can be recommended to predict the unmeasured fission yields.Comparisons of the evaluated energy dependence curves with theoretical calculated results show that the predictions using purely theoretical model for the fission process are not sufficiently accurate and reliable for the calculations of the cumulative fission yields for the 238U(n,f).  相似文献

All cross sections of neutron induced reactions, angular distributions, energy spectra and double differential cross sections are consistently calculated and analyzed for n+63,65,nat.Cu reactions at incident neutron energies below 200 MeV based on the nuclear theoretical models. The optical model, preequilibrium and equilibrium reaction theories, the distorted wave Born approximation theory are used. Theoretical calculated results are compared with existing experimental data and the evaluated results in ENDF/B-VII and JENDL-3 libraries. The optical model potential parameters are obtained according to the experimental data of total, nonelastic scattering cross sections and elastic scattering angular distributions.  相似文献
