A statistical method that determines quality indices is presented. These indices give the regression relations for the dynamic behaviour of an electric power system as a function of some EPS scheme and regime parameters. The development of digital protection in Japan is determined by an industry policy which gives priority to the commercial development of products aimed at replacing conventional protective relay equipment. As a result of this policy, the use of digital relays has spread through Japan faster than in other countries. Major efforts have been made to establish the reliability of the dedicated digital hardware and improve the economics of digital protection. The classical swing equation for a power generator is shown to undergo a Hopf bifurcation to periodic solutions if it is augmented to include any of the following effects: variable net damping, frequency dependence of the electrical torque, a lossy transmission line and excitation control. This paper presents a detailed modeling and a comprehensive assessment of small-signal stability for a “more-electric” vehicular power system consisting of a synchronous variable-frequency generator which supplies power electronic controlled loads via an 18-pulse autotransformer rectifier unit for AC-DC conversion. Functional models for key power system components and loads are derived. Analytical derivations employed for small signal stability analysis based on linearized equations are described, and the influence of leading design parameters on system stability is evaluated. 相似文献

Procedures used to compensate for reactive and distorting powers that do not create active power, but rather cause additional power losses and failures in consumer equipment are examined. It is shown that promising procedures for compensating for reactive power can be implemented using similar methods that take into consderation the peculiarities each of them. It is suggested that reactive energy be compensated for based on powerful low-frequency keys with current modulation using a traditional procedure with a stable carrier frequency; the implementation of active filtration based on high-frequency keys with hysteresis control of modulation is also recommended. 相似文献

In Japan, electric power utilities purchase electricity from independent power producers (IPPs) through competitive bidding; the IPP evaluation is based on the avoided costs of corresponding generators of utilities. In this evaluation, however, nonpricing factors such as power flow constraints in the electric power system cannot be considered. In this paper, we propose a new approach to evaluate economic impacts of IPPs, the IPP electricity being priced on the basis of total generating costs of the electric power utilities. Such a price to purchase the electricity of IPPs is referred to as the “break‐even cost.” The main results are summarized as follows: 1) Break‐even cost depends on not only the power flow constraints in the system, but also various IPP factors such as generating pattern, location, and capacity, 2) Break‐even cost for the base‐type IPP is higher than the avoided cost of corresponding utility generators, because IPPs located on demand sides can reduce the transmission power loss in the electric power system, 3) Break‐even cost is affected by available capacity of utility generators, especially for the peak‐type IPP generating only during peak demand periods. © 2000 Scripta Technica, Electr Eng Jpn, 133(2): 20–30, 2000 相似文献

分析了目前电动汽车充电站发展的现状及存在的问题,提出了电动汽车流动供电站设计方案.该方案中的流动供电站直接从供电电网取电为电动汽车或油电双模汽车的驱动电机供电,并在电动汽车行驶过程中对蓄电池进行补充充电.电源管理系统是流动供电站设计的核心,包括用户识别、计量结算、充电管理、用户报警等信息的管理,是实现流动供电站的无人值守、自动供电的关键.阐述了电动汽车流动供电站的硬件和软件系统的设计.包括基于IC卡和单片机技术设计电源管理系统的数据采集、传输和处理等模块的电路,以及为实现该系统功能而开发的软件系统及主要程序. 相似文献
