多协议标签交换MPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching)是一新兴的网络技术,不断趋于成熟;而虚拟专用网VPN(Virtual Private Network)作为一个最大的服务领域,正面临网络业务量爆炸性增长所带 来的挑战。在这样的背景下,MPLS与VPN的有机结合具有很高的实用价值。MPLS技术的应用使用户得到了高速、高质量、高安全性的服务,而服务供应商提供这种服务过程也变得相对简单。同时,整个网络结构的弹性与可扩展性也得到了很大的改善。在扼要介绍VPN的一些基本概念及VPN网络结构2种基本模型的基础上,着重描述了MPLS-VPN原理(包括MPLS-VPN所采用的网络结构模型及其转发机制)和MPLS-VPN性能(包括MPLS技术为VPN所提供的安全性保证、QoS(Quality of Service)保障及流量工程功能),最后还指出了MPLS-VPN的优点及现存问题。  相似文献

Fusion power has long been recognized as a clean source of energy. Unfortunately, after over 50 years of research, scientists don't expect a demonstration of full-scale fusion power generation in a prototype power plant until after 30 to 35 years. Extensive research, however, has made two significant advances in plasma physics, the discovery of bootstrap current and plasma's ability to organize itself in the edge at certain a pressure so that it is a much better insulator and retains heat much better. Electro-luminescence is light emission from a solid through which an electric current is passed. Electro-luminescence from organic compounds was discovered in the early '60s, but the subject did not receive much attention until the discovery and development of conductive polymers. Compared to other electro-luminescent technologies (such as inorganic compound semiconductors, porous silicon and liquid crystals), polymer/organic light-emitting diodes (PLEDs/OLEDs) are very attractive. The reasons are their very low operating voltage, high brightness and their tunability to produce the three fundamental colors (red, blue and green). Furthermore, they are lightweight and can be grown on flexible substrates. They are fairly easy and inexpensive to fabricate. Today, PLEDs/OLEDs are suitable for applications such as automotive displays. In the future, they will probably conquer a large portion of the micro display market. Their higher efficiency and lower weight will make them quite competitive with LCD displays, the currently favorite technology. The article concludes that the future of organic light-emitting diodes seems very bright indeed.  相似文献

燃料经济、生态、性能、安全和舒适等特性将促使许多新型电系统产生.因此,对汽车用蓄电池的要求也将显著提高,例如有关可靠性、浅循环寿命、充电接受和在部分充电状态下高倍率放电(HRPSOC)运行的要求.人们期望铅酸蓄电池技术继续在这种应用中起主要作用.与传统的起动一照明一点火(SLI)蓄电池相比,在改善性能和使用寿命两方面已经取得或即将取得显著的技术进步,开发设计出许多新型蓄电池.车内储能装置的系统集成化将变得越来越重要.超级电容器可延长铅酸电池的寿命,保护负极板免于高倍率放电和充电.蓄电池监测、蓄电池管理等系统会为更主动的蓄电池运行策略创造条件,同时改善供电系统的可靠性.在一只铅酸蓄电池无法单独满足不断提高的要求的情况下,双储能系统有可能提供车辆所需的功率.  相似文献

This paper describes the hybrid-electric vehicles (HEVs) and automotive propulsion technologies. The viability of the hybrid-electric concept and electric propulsion as major ways to improve energy efficiency and reduce the automobile's environmental effects and energy consumption has been demonstrated. The principal features are multiple power sources, an internal combustion engine, an electric motor, an energy storage system and an intelligent control system. This paper also discusses the design of the propulsion systems for automobiles and other transportation products, which is undergoing major changes. The development of EVs and HEVs provide a technology bridge to the electric propulsion technologies needed for the fuel cars (fuel cell hybrid vehicle) of the future.  相似文献

At a workshop held on the Aeolian Islands in Sicily during May 2004 a group of academic and industry engineers from all over the world discussed the medium- and long-term future of power electronics and its applications in specific areas. The following main issues were identified and discussed: The demand is not for power electronic solutions but for system integration of electronic power processing. A more multidisciplinary approach is needed. We will witness a proliferation of energy storage in systems. The technology is in place and the improvement in system performance makes it worth while. A large penetration of power electronics into power systems will happen within the next 25-30 years. The main transmission grid will not be affected. The power electronics development will be in distributed generation and in the loads. The success of the integrated starter/generator (ISG), hybrid, or electric cars depends on political decisions more than on technological advances. However, the success of a recent Japanese hybrid car and the cost of oil could trigger the critical momentum for large-scale use of power electronics in automotive applications. We are moving toward standardized power supply building blocks for computers and other applications. The main push is for lower cost, and production technology becomes the important issue. Demands for improved performance in a diversity of applications will stimulate R&D in power electronics in the future. Intelligent control and energy management will come easily. Thermal and passive component integration is equally important and will require attention.  相似文献

We have developed a bioresponse system concept to respond to large-scale medical disasters, including overwhelming, contagious bioagent events such as smallpox, plague, and influenza. This system, called Cybercare, aims to substantially increase the surge capacity of the healthcare system by allowing healthcare systems throughout the country to link together to provide specialists and other resources to augment those available at a disaster site. Key to the concept of Cybercare is the notion of a robust, distributed command and control system that will enable rapid and sustained responses to large-scale medical disasters. The Cybercare information infrastructure can also be utilized to support training and analysis of response procedures as well as a wide range of medical and disaster applications that occur on a frequent basis, such as home healthcare monitoring and rural and remote medical treatment. The purposes of this article are to: 1) define the problem set addressed by the Cybercare concept, 2) provide the reader with a fundamental knowledge of command and control and an emerging paradigm shift in command structure for the medical and disaster management domain, 3) define technologies that can be used to create a command and control system, and 4) illustrate how the technologies can be integrated into a disaster response system using the command and control paradigm  相似文献
