All traditional evaluation techniques for determining the temperature,T, concentration,X, dependences of the molar excess heat capacity, ΔCP
(T,X), from calorimetric data involve the problem that the molar excess heat capacities, ΔCP
(T,X), are determined from finite differences. In essence, a heat capacity value is then the quotient of the difference between
two ΔH values divided by the difference between the two corresponding temperature values. A new evaluation technique has been
developed to overcome this problem. Considering the best-fit parameters as simultaneously dependent on the temperature,T, and on the concentration,X, an overall regression of all measured data of all investigated sample compositions,X, and temperatures,T, is possible. Application of the proposed evaluation technique is illustrated with data for liquid Cu-Sb, Mg-Pb, Bi-Te, In-Sb,
and Au-Ga binary systems. The individual features of the systems as well as the advantage of an interactive evaluation are

The thermal properties of UO2 and PuO2 have been investigated by the equilibrium molecular dynamics (EMD) simulations between 300 and 2000 K using the Born–Mayer–Huggins interatomic potential with the partially ionic model (PIM). The thermal expansion behaviors of UO2 and PuO2 are well reproduced by assuming that the effective ion valence is 67.5% for PIM. The constant-pressure heat capacities deduced only by the present EMD simulation are a little smaller than experimental data. This result explains that the electronic contribution, Schottky or small polaron contribution, is not small for the heat capacity of the actinide oxide including 5f-electrons. The thermal conductivity estimated by the Green–Kubo formula under the NVE ensemble is comparable with experimental data at temperatures greater than 500 K. 相似文献

Nanostructured composites of polyaniline (PANI) with carbon black (CB) were synthesized by an in situ self-organization process. The synthesis is based on the polymerization of aniline in a micellar solution of p-toluenesulfonic acid (TSA) with different weight percentages of CB using ammonium peroxydisulfate (APS) as the oxidizing agent. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), UV–vis spectroscopy, and the four-probe meter were used to study the morphological, structural, thermal, and electrical properties of CB–PANI nanocomposites. The results demonstrate that the morphology, thermal stability, and electrical conductivity of the nanocomposites were significantly influenced by the content of CB. SEM results reveal that there was a transition in morphology from composite nanospheres to one-dimensional (1D) composite long nanorods with an increase of CB content. XRD and UV–vis spectra results revealed that there was an increase in the crystallinity and a shift of quinoid transition bands towards lower wavelengths as the amount of CB in the composite increased. The mechanism for the formation of nanostructured composites was explained on the basis of the self-organization of micelles. CB–PANI nanocomposites with a maximum electrical conductivity of 1.38 S/cm were obtained; this is at least three orders of magnitude higher than that of pristine PANI. 相似文献
