The traditional foundry industry has developed rapidly in recently years due to advancements in computer technology. Modifying and designing the feeding system has become more convenient with the help of the casting software, InteCAST. A common method of designing a feeding system is to ifrst design the initial systems, run simulations with casting software, analyze the feedback, and then redesign. In this work, genetic, fruit lfy, and interior point optimizer (IPOPT) algorithms were introduced to guide the optimal riser design for the feeding system. The results calculated by the three optimal algorithms indicate that the riser volume has a weak relationship with the modulus constraint; while it has a close relationship with the volume constraint. Based on the convergence rate, the fruit lfy algorithm was obviously faster than the genetic algorithm. The optimized riser was also applied during casting, and was simulated using InteCAST. The numerical simulation results reveal that with the same riser volume, the riser optimized by the genetic and fruit lfy algorithms has a similar improvement on casting shrinkage. The IPOPT algorithm has the advantage of causing the smalest shrinkage porosities, compared to those of the genetic and fruit lfy algorithms, which were almost the same. 相似文献

This paper expatiates on domestic status of heavy steel casting production, with a special focus on hydraulic turbine castings for Three Gorges Project. In China, there is magnificent demand for heavy castings with the rapid growth of the national economy in recent years and the expected high growth in the coming 10 to 20 years. Some heavy and large castings such as mill housing and hydraulic turbine runner crown, blade and band for Three Gorges Project have been successfully made. However, the domestic production capability is still far from meeting the gigantic requirements. The domestic capability still lags behind the world class level, and a lot of heavy castings still depend on import. The paper also gives a particular introduction of the key technologies in the manufacturing of heavy steel castings like metal melting, foundry technology, heat treatment technology and numerical simulation technique, etc. In addition, several case studies on the application of numerical simulation in the production of heavy steel castings are presented. 相似文献

The high efficiency mechanized foundry technology of castings produced by using water-cooled copper alloy permanent mold has been systematically studied. Through the researching a Cu-Cr-Mg alloy with high conductivity and good combined mechanical properties used for making permanent mold was developed, and the basic design principles of the water-cooled permanent mold along with the control-range of relevant foundry processing parameters were also established.A cast production line equipped with water-cooled copper alloy mold was designed and fabricated for production of ductile iron automobile gear castings. This production line can consistently make automobile gear castings in QT500-15 and QT600-5 (Chinese Standard) grades of ductile iron with up to 95 % casting success rate. 相似文献

详细探讨了金属型铸造CE30型黄铜水嘴体的铸造工艺,着重试验了浇注系统和浇注位置对铸件质量的影响,试验结果表明,采用底注、封闭-开放式浇注系统可以有铲地减少铸件中夹杂的数量,从而显著地提高水嘴的质量和合格率;试验结果还表明,在特定的条件下,铸造件的重而在浇注时不必要求其位于铸型底部。 相似文献

铟镍合金用于核燃料组件中定位格架特种条带的制造。针对铟镍合金材料价格昂贵、厚度较薄以及特种条带本身窄长等特点,利用CAE软件模拟冲压成形过程,快速预测冲制过程中条带的回弹、破裂、起皱等变化,为条带冲制用模具的设计提供参考依据。首先研究材料冲压特性;然后分析条带特征,确定冲制工艺方案;最后进行条带冲压成形有限元仿真分析,根据仿真结果优化模具的结构设计。结果表明:厚度为0.2667 mm的铟镍合金料带的冲压适应性较好,仿真冲压件模型没有破裂和起皱的趋势,条带刚凸高度回弹量较大,经过回弹补偿后,最终成形高度接近公称尺寸。依据CAE分析结果优化设计出的模具调试情况良好,能够满足特种条带的冲制加工。 相似文献

系统研究了各工艺因素对干砂消失模铸铝件密度的影响。结果表明 ,涂层厚度与聚苯乙烯模样厚度增加 ,铸铝件密度下降、针孔增加。为减少铸铝件的针孔 ,铝合金消失模铸造应有适当高的浇注温度和合适的直浇道高度及面积 ,并尽量采用空心直浇道。充型过程中施加一定的真空度有利于减少针孔 ,但真空度太高则会促使铝液产生紊流 ,反而增加铸铝件的针孔 ,降低其密度。 相似文献
