为了实现高效的五轴加工,本文对五轴RTCP技术进行深入研究,通过对旋转角度的细分及插补点处非线性误差补偿,减小了加工中的非线性误差并满足补偿算法的实时性,通过对各轴速度进行约束的前瞻算法、减小了加工过程中的机床振动,从而提高了工件表面的加工质量.本文提出采用基于参数配置的运动学模型,提高了工件程序的可移植性.最后将该算法添加到GJ-310数控系统中,并进行了试验验证,结果表明该算法可以满足加工要求.  相似文献

由于旋转运动的影响,五轴加工时会产生非线性运动误差.RTCP(旋转刀具中心点)功能可使数控系统自动对控制轴进行实时线性补偿,从而保证插补点始终位于编程轨迹上.在深入分析五轴机床运动结构的基础上,设计一种集成了RTCP功能的插补算法,并给出了算法的理论误差分析以及仿真实验结果.实验结果表明该算法可以有效减小非线性误差,且简单易行,还能充分满足实时性要求,可广泛应用于现代CNC系统中.  相似文献

在目前的五轴数控加工中,编程人员需针对不同类型的五轴数控机床编制不同的加工程序.针对这一问题,本文研究并设计一种新型五轴联动数控系统.详细描述了该五轴联动数控系统的结构,对其中的RTCP模块和基于四元数的空间运动学变换模块进行了重点探讨,并对该数控系统进行了测试.实验结果表明该数控系统具备一个工作程序在不同结构的机床进行加工的功能.  相似文献

Compensating for systematic errors in 5-axis NC machining   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
The errors introduced during 5-axis machining are higher than the intrinsic repeatability of the machine tool. It is possible to identify such systematic errors and compensate for them, thus achieving higher performance. A group of systematic errors can be compensated for directly in the inverse kinematics equations. Other systematic errors can be combined and compensated for through the total differentials of the inverse kinematics relations. A new general approach on how to compensate for the systematic errors based on the closed loop volumetric error relations is presented. The errors due to the 5-axis toolpath generation in current CAD/CAM and CNC are analyzed in detail. A new strategy for measurement and compensation is presented.  相似文献

This paper presents a method of determining the shape of the surface swept by a generalized milling tool that follows a 5-axis tool path for machining curved surfaces. The method is a generalization of an earlier technique for toroidal tools that is based on identifying grazing points on the tool surface. We present a new proof that the points constructed by this earlier method are in fact grazing points, and we show that this previous method can be used to construct grazing points on (and only on) the sphere, the cone, and the torus. We then present a more general method that can compute grazing points on a general surface of revolution. The advantage of both methods is that they use simple, geometric formulas to compute grazing points.  相似文献

In numerically controlled systems, the interpolation function is normally implemented with orthogonal-type algorithms, in which each step of the tool is along a single coordinate axis. These algorithms are easier to conceive and realize.Non-orthogonal interpolation, however, offers certain advantages such as improved curve smoothness and increased feedrates. The algorithm presented in this paper makes possible an extension of the feedrate range of the machine by approximately 28% without any other change in the control. This paper presents a tool axis vector approach for machining sculptured surfaces. Such an approach is well suited for highly twisted, rolled, or bent surfaces. The tool paths are generated for a 5-axis milling machine. The proposed approach is based on tilt angle, cutting direction, and a vector normal to the cutting surface. Gouging is avoided by checking the interference between the cutting tool and the part surface. The algorithm also finds maximum path intervals that generate maximum admissible cusp height within the specified tolerance limits. Such an approach minimizes the tool path and machining time. The paper presents an example to illustrate the details of the algorithm.This research was accomplished by funding provided by the Korean Research Foundation under the Faculty Research Abroad Program and by the advice and support of the second author.  相似文献

5-Axis sculptured surface machining is simulated using discrete geometric models of the tool and workpiece to determine the tool contact area, and a discrete mechanistic model to estimate the cutting forces. An extended Z-buffer model represents the workpiece, while a discrete axial slice model represents the cutting tool. Determination of the contact area for a given tool move requires a swept envelope (SWE) of the tool path. The SWE is used to find the intersections of the tool envelope with Z-buffer elements (ZDVs) representing the workpiece. A 3-axis approximation of the 5-axis tool movement is used to simplify the calculations while maintaining a desired level of accuracy. The intersection of the SWE with each ZDV yields segments which are used to find the contact area between the cutter and the workpiece for a given tool path. The contact area is subsequently used with the discrete force model to calculate the vector cutting force acting on the tool.  相似文献

提出了一种可重构的嵌入式数控系统,通过与安装有网格中间件和网格支持工具的上位机相连,可以很方便地作为制造网格的一个可重构节点.在硬件设计上,主控系统、插补和补偿模块以及伺服模块通过CAN总线互连,实现嵌入式数控系统硬件的可重构性.在软件设计上,采用软件芯片的思想,同时设计数控软件自动生成系统,实现了软件的可重构性.  相似文献
