We have measured ac susceptibility, nuclear magnetic resonance, and nuclear heat capacity of two PtFe x samples with concentrations of magnetic impurities x = 11 ppm and 41 ppm at magnetic fields (0 ± 0.05) mTB248 mT. The susceptibility data have been measured at temperatures of 0.3 KT100 mK, no hint for nuclear magnetic ordering could be detected to a temperature of 0.3 K. The nuclear heat capacity data taken at 1.4 KT10 mK show enhanced values which scale with x at low polarization. This effect is described by a model assuming an internal magnetic field caused by the impurities. No indication for nuclear magnetic ordering could be detected to 1.4 K. The nuclear magnetic resonance experiments have been performed on these samples at 0.8 KT0.5 mK and 2.5 mTB22.8 mT as well as on three other samples with x = 5, 10, 31 ppm in a different setup at 40 KT0.5 mK and at 5.4 mTB200 mT. Spin-lattice and effective spin-spin relaxation times 1and 2 * of 195 Pt strongly depend on x and on the external magnetic field. No temperature dependence of 1and 2 * could be detected and the NMR data, too, give no hint for nuclear magnetic ordering to 0.8 K.  相似文献

The superplasticm- curves of Ti-6Al-4 alloy have been determined at different temperatures and strain rates; all were of them L=m max type, and were of either fundamental, descending or ascending types. The latter two types were transformed from the former through the processes ofm Lm O, LO andm Lm F, LF, respectively. The highest total elongation, F, was 1150% obtained at 950C and 1.55×10–3 s–1. The Chin Liu equation has been applied to all types ofm- curves. The parameters characteristic of all types ofm- curves have been obtained and were found to vary with temperature and strain rate. Recently developed coaxial line techniques [1] have been used to determine, at room temperature, the values of the real () and imaginary (') parts of the dielectric constants for some Mg-Al-Si, Ca-Al-Si and Y-Al-Si oxynitride glasses over the frequency range 500 MHz to 5 GHz. The frequency dependencies of and ' are consistent with the universal law of dielectric response in that (-t8)(n–1) and '(n–1) for all glass compositions; the high experimental value of the exponent (n=1.0±0.1) suggests the limiting form of lattice loss [2] situation. In this frequency range, as previously reported [3] at longer wavelengths, the addition of nitrogen increases the dielectric constant, (); in both the oxide and oxynitride glasses is also influenced by the cation, being increased with cation type in the order magnesium, yttrium, calcium as at lower frequencies.  相似文献

The influence of various factors upon the shape of Bradford's bibliograph was assessed through an examination of 16 bibliographies, of which ten were comprehensive. We obtained a curvature score for each bibliograph plotted in a standard landscape format so as to permit comparison; we found that the amount of concave up curvature (convexity): (a) is negatively correlated with a bibliography's overall publication density; (b) depends on the status (technical vs. nontechnical) of the disciplinary source of a bibliography, with technical disciplines showing less convexity; and (c) is complexly affected by the historical changes in the discipline. Findings are discussed in the context of questions about the graphical formulation of Bradford's Law.  相似文献

Single crystals of rhombohedral TiBiTe2 examined by transmission electron microscopy consist of large areas separated by {100}- and {110}-type twins. By measuring the rhombohedral angle from the splitting of diffraction patterns in the twin areas, we calculated the residual strain which remained after the transformation Oh D 3d, ranging from 1.2 to 12.2 %. Dislocations with Burgers vector (a/2) 1¯10 were mobile and the main slip system was (111) 1¯10. Planar defects with complex - fringe contrast were also observed.  相似文献

We present results of a thermodynamic analysis for the superconductors compounds BaPb0.7Bi0.3O3 and Ba0.7K0.3BiO3. The physical quantities are calculated making use of the Eliashberg theory and the electron-phonon spectra 2()F() as calculated by Shirai et al. For the superconductor BaPb0.7Bi0.3O3, several models of the 2()F() were studied looking for a better agreement with experimental data. The best fit is achieved with a simple constant scaling (C = 1.25) of the Shirai's spectra. The functional derivative of the deviation function D(t) with respect to changes in 2()F() is also calculated.  相似文献

Conversion-electron Mössbauer spectra of epitaxial -Fe16N2 and -Fe8N films have been studied and their differences are discussed in detail. The Mössbauer spectrum of -Fe16N2 can be decomposed into three subspectra, which correspond to the 4d, 8h and 4c sites. The Mössbauer spectrum of -Fe8N can be fitted using four spectra based on a nitrogen-atom-random-distribution model. The average hyperfine field is larger (3%) for -Fe16N2 than for -Fe8N, which is approximately consistent with a 4.1% enhancement of the magnetic moments for -Fe16N2. The iron moments tend to locate in the film plane for -Fe16N2 and to arrange perpendicularly to the film plane for -Fe8N.  相似文献

Ductile L20-type wires and+L12-type duplex wires with high strengths and large elongation in the Ni-Al-Fe and Ni-Al-Co ternary systems have been manufactured directly from the liquid state by an in-rotating-water spinning method. The wire diameter was in the range 80 to 180m and the average grain size was 2 to 4m for the wires and 0.2 to 1.0m for the+ wires. y, f and p of the wires were found to be about 360 to 760 MPa, 560 to 960 MPa, and 0.2 to 5.5%, respectively, for the Ni-Al-Fe system, those of the+ wires were about 395 to 660 MPa, 670 to 1285 MPa, and 3.5 to 17%, respectively, for the Ni-Al-Fe system, and about 260 to 365 MPa, 600 to 870 MPa, and 4.0 to 7.0%, respectively, for the Ni-Al-Co system. Cold-drawing caused a significant increase in y and f and the values attained were about 1850 and 2500 MPa, respectively, for Ni-20Al-30Fe and Ni-25Al-30Co wires drawn to about 90% reduction in area. The high strengths, large elongation and good cold-workability of the melt-quenched and+ compound wires have been inferred to be due to the structural change into a low-degree ordered state containing a high density of phase boundaries, suppression of grain-boundary segregation and refinement of grain size.  相似文献

Multiphase Ni-Al-(Fe)-(Cr)-(Co)-based intermetallics with (B2)- (A1)/(L12), - or - microstructures can exhibit significant room-temperature tensile ductility. In the case of Ni-Al-Cr-based alloys, microstructural development is complicated by the precipitation of -Cr, which can supplant the -phase during ageing of three-phase -/ microstructures. An investigation of the stability, during ageing, of cast Ni-Al-Cr-(Co) alloys with microstructures derived from -/ is reported. In the as-cast condition, the materials investigated consisted of a dendritic matrix containing L10 type martensite and interdendritic /. Extensive intra- and interdendritic -Cr precipitation was also observed. The stability during ageing of the interdendritic / microstructure is also considered and transformation of the L10 martensite is examined.  相似文献

The spin hydrodynamic equations for superfluid3He-B have been obtained for the case of external, time-dependent fields. On the basis of a microscopic approach, expressions are found for additional terms in equations containing these fields. Considering the linear response of the system to the switching on of external fields, formulas are found for suitable Green's functions (magnetization-magnetization, rotation-rotation, magnetization-rotation, rotation-magnetization). The rotation-rotation Green's function has the 1/q 2 singularity characteristic of superfluid systems. Connections between Green's functions lead to relations among kinetic coefficients v, 1, and 2. It is also shown that there is a conserved quantityQ (B) = div v s (B) that describes sources or magnetic type charges (monopoles) of the superfluid velocity v s (B) . Comparison with the phenomenological approach suggests thatQ (B) is proportional to a pseudoscalar giving the projection of the spin density onto the vector describing the axis of rotation.  相似文献

Previous reports on the solubility of magnesium in -sialons have been conflicting. The present work shows conclusively that crystalline magnesium sialons with the silicon nitride structure do exist. They are formed by crystallization of magnesium sialon glasses at low temperatures. -magnesium sialon crystals nucleate on -sialon nuclei which are themselves formed by precipitation from Mg-Si-Al-O-N liquids at high temperatures. The current results suggest that -magnesium sialons exist only over a limited composition range within the 3M/4X plane of the Mg-Si-Al-O-N system, which is indicative of some form of ordering within the structure. Although the compositions investigated in the present study are unstable with respect to forsterite above about 1000° C, the possibility of producing -magnesium sialons which are stable at much higher temperatures cannot be fully discounted at present.  相似文献

Cr-substitution in-FeOOH takes place with changes in the unit cell parameters and a marked decrease in crystallinity. The-FeOOH structure is maintained up to 5.0 atomic % with a progressive diminution of crystallite size, as shown by X-ray line broadening analysis and electron microscopy. The dehydroxilation of the Cr-substituted oxyhydroxide to-sesquioxides and the phase transition sesquioxide take place at lower temperatures than in-FeOOH, due to the lower crystallinity.  相似文献

The microstructure and phase transformations occurring in-iron-carbonitrides have been studied by means of X-ray and electron diffraction, electron microscopy and Mössbauer spectrometry. Ordering of the interstitial atoms, N or C, results in a hexagonal unit cell for Fe3(C, N) with parametersa=a3 andc=c wherea andc are the lattice parameters of the hexagonal close-packed (h c p) iron unit cell. Stacking faults on (0001) planes and partial dislocations with Burgers vector b=1/31 0 ¯1 0 are observed in quenched-Fe4 (C, N). After quench-aging, the carbonitrides show a structural hardening due to the precipitation of a metastable phase. Slow cooling of-carbonitrides with less than 25 at% interstitials leads to the precipitation of-carbonitride and ferrite in-phase grains which allows the orientation relationships between the-,- and-phases to be defined and a model of the-phase--phase transformation to be proposed.  相似文献

The recovery of the dislocation structures produced in a Type 316 steel during creep has been examined by annealing over a range of temperatures and times, both in the presence and in the absence of stress. The influence of dislocation recovery on subsequent reloading behaviour has also been examined.Initial dislocation recovery occurs rapidly but the rate of recovery subsequently decreases as precipitate effects become more important. Dislocation recovery in the early, rapid stage appears to be controlled by vacancy diffusion between the dislocation links. The deformation behaviour of bulk polycrystalline zirconium hydrides in the composition range ZrH1.27 to ZrH1.66 has been investigated by compressive loading at temperatures between room temperature and 500° C. Single-phase -zirconium hydride is brittle below 100° C. Analyses of slip traces on specimens deformed at temperatures between 100 and 250° C have shown that the glide planes are {111} types. The deformation characteristics of and ( + ) alloys at temperatures between 100 and 500° C are consistent with the hydrogen vacancies in the -phase providing significant lattice friction to the movement of dislocations in the zirconium lattice of the hydride structure. The room temperature fracture stress of ( + ) alloys increases with the volume fraction of the -phase and this can be related to the resistance offered by platelets to the propagation of cleavage cracks in the matrix. In a ( + + ) alloy the resistance to crack propagation at room temperature is further increased by the soft -zirconium phase.  相似文献

We present a new insight in the response of a CW NMR spectrometer for highly magnetized samples above 100 MHz. The spectrometer is a bridge made of a magic T. The output of the bridge is proportional to the reflection coefficient, , of a resonant circuit, which is built with a coil containing the sample. The sensitivity of the reflection coefficient to the complex susceptibility of the sample, () = () – j(), depends on the quality factor, Q, of the circuit and filling factor, . When the condition Q 1 is not fulfilled, we show indeed that the use of a simple crystal detector, which is only sensitive to || gives rise to a strong nonlinear response of the spectrometer. Measurements of the complex value of by means of phase sensitive detection allow to recover a linear behavior. We discuss and illustrate those issues with a few circuits we designed for our measurements on liquid 3 He with spin polarizations up to 15 %. A method is described to build in a reproducible and predictable way resonant circuits matched to 50 in the frequency range 100 – 400 MHz with a quality factor as high as 1000 at 4 K.  相似文献

Scaling arguments and renormalization group techniques are used in the Anderson model Hamiltonian for the nonmagnetic limit of a magnetic impurity. The range of validity of the theory is limited toU/ 1, where the electron-electron collisions can already compete strongly with the electron-hole collisions. A parquet approximation is developed; it gives for the static susceptibility in the symmetric case = ()–1 exp (+U/). There are some hints that the exchange force might play a crucial role in the formation of localized magnetic moment. These considerations are consistent with the electron-hole symmetry in the symmetric Anderson model.  相似文献

The compressibilities of the a- and c-axes for sodium - and -aluminas were determined up to 10 GPa from the pressure dependence of powder X-ray diffraction measured at room temperature using synchrotron radiation as an X-ray source. Powders of sodium - and -aluminas which were prepared from grinding synthesized single crystals were used as the specimens for X-ray diffraction. The compressibilities of - and -aluminas are 1.5 ± 0.2 ×10–12 and 1.7 ± 0.2 × 10–12 Pa–1 for the a-axis and 2.9 ± 0.2x10–12 and 1.6 ± 0.2 ×10–12 Pa–1 for the c-axis, respectively. For the c-axis, the compressibility of -alumina is larger than that of -alumina. This experimental fact is explained by the different stacking of oxygen layers and the different content in sodium ion between - and -aluminas.  相似文献

Magnetoconductance and excess conductance due to superconducting fluctuations in aluminum films are measured in order to study the temperature dependence of the pair-breaking parameter at temperatures nearT c . The parameter M is estimated from the relation =/8k B Tin, where in is the inelastic scattering time deduced from the analysis of the magnetoconductance. The parameter F is determined by fitting theories to data on the excess conductance at zero magnetic field. It is shown that: (1) For films with a wide range of the sheet resistanceR , 12R 200 /, the temperature dependence of M nearT c agrees well with the theory of Brenig et al. (2) For clean films withR 100 /, the value of F analyzed with theories including the correction term to the Maki-Thompson contribution shows almost the same temperature dependence as M .
