由与Na_2-Na双光子混合共振相关联的四波混频过程产生可调谐紫外相干辐射。当以614.5~617.4nm的染料激光泵浦钠蒸气时,第一个光子将钠分子从基态X_1∑_g~+激发到A~1∑_u~+态;通过Na_2~*-Na近共振碰撞能量转移过程,将处于基态3S的钾原子激发到3P(3/2),(3/2)态;第二个光子将钠原子共振激发到5S态,从而产生5S→4P的受激辐射和4P→4S的串级受激辐射。而在离共振激发时,除上述受激辐射(或串级受激辐射)外,还存在分别起始于3P_(1/2)和3P(3/2)态的受激喇曼散射。上述受激辐射(或串级受激辐射)和受激喇曼散射分别与泵浦光的 相似文献

The linear and nonlinear susceptibilities for resonant third-harmonic generation in an Mg-Kr system using the 3s2 -3s 3d two-photon resonance at 431 nm are presented. The Mg-Kr system is shown to be a suitable low-loss medium because of its small one-photon and two-photon absorption cross section. A detailed quantitative analysis up to a power conversion efficiency of 1.2 . 10-4was carried out. The phase-matching curves and the intensity dependence are in excellent agreement with a nonstationary modification of the theory of resonant third-harmonic generation in high density, phase-matched systems recently presented by Puell et al. Theoretical efficiency limitations for a two-photon resonant third-harmonic generation (THG) process are analyzed in a treatment which includes all nonlinear processes associated with the two-photon resonance assuming negligible material excitation. Results are presented for both collimated-beam and tight-focusing geometries. The theory is applied to experimental results for THG of CO2 laser radiation in liquid CO-O2 mixtures; good agreement is found for the observed saturation in the THG efficiency in a tight-focusing geometry. 相似文献

Stimulated electronic hyper-Raman scattering has been obtained in lithium vapor via excitation of several two-photon resonances (2s-3d, 2s-4s, 2s-4d ) with a pulsed dye laser. The wavelength of the generated radiation was shorter than the pump wavelength and tunable over a few nanometers. The resonance frequency (f/sub 0/) of a remote resonant circuit can be determined by comparing its response under different excitation signal frequencies. It is demonstrated that a sudden modification of excitation signal frequency produces a transient response which may introduce errors of the f/sub 0/ determination. 本文利用飞行时间质谱仪研究了532nm和455.5nm激光作用下CH3I分子的多光子电离解离(MPID)。在532nm激光作用下,CH3I分子由双光子激发到A带的A2态,它的MPID属母体离子阶梯模式;在455.5nm激光作用下,CH3I分子由双光子激发到A带的3E态,它的MPID属中性碎片光电离模式。 相似文献
