Flexural vibration of an infinite pyrocomposite circular hollow cylinder composed of an inner and outer pyroelectric layer of class 6 bonded together by a linear elastic material with voids (LEMV) is studied. The exact frequency equation is obtained for traction-free surfaces with continuity conditions at the interfaces. Numerical results in the form of data and dispersion curves for the first and second modes of the flexural vibration of the cylinder ceramic-1/Adhesive/ceramic-2 by taking the adherents as BaTio3 and the adhesive as an existing carbon fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) or as a hypothetical LEMV layer with and without voids are compared with that of a single-layered pyroelectric hollow cylinder. Summary Employing Biot's theory for wave propagation in a porous solid, the frequency equation for radial vibrations of a poroelastic cylinder is obtained. The frequency equation has been derived in the form of a determinant involving Bessel functions. The roots of the frequency equation give the values of the characteristic circular frequency parameters of the first four modes for various geometries. These roots, which correspond to various modes, are numerically calculated and presented graphically. The results indicate that the effects of porosity are very pronounced.  相似文献

The analytical solution for the linear elastic, axisymmetric problem of inner and outer edge cracks in a transversely isotropic infinitely long hollow cylinder is considered. The z = 0 plane on which the crack lies is a plane of symmetry. The loading is uniform crack surface pressure. The mixed boundary value problem is reduced to a singular integral equation where the unknown is the derivative of the crack surface displacement. An asymptotic analysis is done to derive the generalized Cauchy kernel associated with edge cracks. It is shown that the stress intensity factor is a function of three material parameters. The singular integral equation is solved numerically. Stress intensity factors are presented for various values of material and geometric parameters.  相似文献

The propagation of elastic waves generated by an impulse multipole source in a hollow fluid-filled cylinder was studied. The general solution of the problem is illustrated by calculations for monopole and dipole sources applied in geophysical and geoecological measurement practice. The analysis of the outer boundary influence on the waveforms registered by receivers located in the fluid was performed. The estimation has been carried out to determine a cylinder wall thickness under which its influence on cinematic parameters of the waveforms can be neglected.  相似文献

An analytical method is presented to solve magneto-elastic wave propagation and perturbation of the magnetic field vector in an orthotropic laminated hollow cylinder with arbitrary thickness. The magnetoelastodynamic equation for each separate orthotropic hollow cylinder is solved by making use of finite Hankel transforms and Laplace transforms. The unknown constants involved in the solution for each separate layer are determined by using the interface continuity conditions between layers and the boundary conditions at the internal and external boundaries of the laminated hollow cylinders. Thus, an exact solution for magnetoelastodynamic stresses and perturbation response of an axial magnetic field vector in laminated hollow cylinder is obtained. From sample numerical calculations, it is seen that the present method is suitable to solve magnetoelastodynamic problems of laminated hollow cylinders subjected to a radial shock load and an axial magnetic field.  相似文献

A dynamic problem for an elastic hollow cylinder whose surfaces are subjected to the action of arbitrary forces is solved by a new method based on the use of finite differences only with respect to time [12]. The numerical analyses of the time dependences of stress concentration are carried out for hollow cylinders of different thickness under impact loading.
