Bending capacity of textile-reinforced concrete (TRC) is often limited by low penetration of the concrete into inner filaments of fabric rovings. To improve this limitation, we used warp-knitted fabric with different rovings as weft inserted then introduce a fibers performance index (FPI) as sign of the textile reinforcing efficiency. On the base of equilibrium condition models and comparing with experimental data, the FPI is simulated. The influence of different number of rovings and also different layers, on the maximum load, displacement, toughness, and failure modes is discussed. Furthermore, the FPI was improved by partially impregnated fabrics with spotted epoxy. This technique considerably increased FPI from 0.21 for the fabric without epoxy to 0.5 and improved bending properties of TRC. 相似文献

The aim of this work is to understand the bonding characteristics between various yarn structures and cement matrix which was studied by yarn pull out test. In this work, the effect of accelerated ageing under alkaline environment for different types of fibers i.e. Basalt, Polypropylene, Polyester, and Jute is studied in order to comparatively evaluate their weight loss and reduction of tensile strength. SEM images are also used for studying the morphology of alkali degraded fibers. Material characterization can also be done by FTIR, XRD, ICP, Zeta potential, and UV spectrometer. 相似文献

Electrochemical adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry determination of Ge(IV) using the catechol complex on a mercury-coated (MC) electrode was prepared using a glassy carbon electrode (GCE), the peak potential of which was −0.5 V vs. Ag/AgCl on MCGCE. The various parameters of the catechol concentration, its pH, and others were optimized. The linear working ranges were obtained in the concentration of 2–700 μg L−1 Ge(IV). The relative standard deviation at the Ge(IV) concentration of 50 μg L−1 was 1.37% (n = 15) using the optimum condition, and the detection limit was found to be 0.6 μg L−1 (8.26 × 10−9 M) (S/N = 3), with an adsorption time of 180 s. The Ge(IV) response was highly linear. This developed method was applied to Ge(IV) to determine the presence of rice grains. 相似文献

This article reports a study of the concentrations of dietary fiber (DF) and antioxidant capacity in fruits (pulp and oil) of a new açaí (Euterpe oleraceae) cultivar—‘BRS-Pará’, with a view to determine the possibility of using it as a source of antioxidants in functional foods or dietary supplements. Results show that ‘BRS-Pará’ açaí fruits has a high content of DF (71% dry matter) and oil (20.82%) as well as a high antioxidant capacity in both defatted matter and oil. ‘BRS-Pará’ Açaí fruits can be considered as an excellent source of antioxidant dietary fiber. Antioxidant capacity of açaí ‘BRS-Pará’ oil by DPPH assay was higher (EC50 = 646.3 g/g DPPH) than extra virgin olive oil (EC50 = 2057.27 g/g DPPH). These features provide açaí ‘BRS-Pará’ fruits with considerable potential for nutritional and health applications. 相似文献
