Two heat-resistant magnesium alloys AJC421 and Mg-2Nd were prepared. Both as-cast Mg-2Nd and AJC421 alloys exhibited good
creep resistance in comparison with commonly used magnesium alloys. The improvement in creep properties through Nd addition
to pure magnesium is attributed to both solid solution and precipitation hardening. The stress exponents of 4.5–5.5 and activation
energies of 70.0–96.0 kJ/mol obtained from the as-cast Mg-2Nd alloy at low temperatures and low stresses indicate the five
power law can be used for predicting the creep mechanism. The additions of alkaline earth elements Sr and Ca into Mg–Al alloys
suppress the discontinuous precipitation of Mg17Al12 and form thermal-stable intermediate phases at grain boundaries, leading to effective restriction to grain boundary sliding
and migration. However, the mechanism responsible for creep deformation of Mg–Al based alloys with Ca and Sr additions is
not consistent with the results of microstructure observations performed on the alloys before and after creep tests. 相似文献

The paper presents a review of transformations in a number of metal materials during hot isostatic pressing which result in changes in the shape, density, morphology, and composition of the structural components of some metals, including cast, powder, and composite titanium alloys, heat-resistant nickel alloys, hard alloys of the WC-Co system, and also some aluminum and aluminide materials. Methods for studying the compaction processes using an eddy current dilatometric cell and differential barothermal analysis to determine the baric shift of the characteristic temperatures for some heat-resistant nickel alloys are described. The data on the practical application of hot isostatic pressing are presented, which makes it possible to fabricate the most important parts of gas turbines. It is shown that hot isostatic pressing causing transformations of different physicochemical origin should be considered as a necessary step of the production of metals to ensure their limiting strength characteristics. 相似文献

Magnesium, as a lightweight construction material, has rapidly grown its applications in the automotive industry since the early 1990s. To maximize the weight reduction of vehicles by lightweight magnesium alloys in the coming years, the use of newly developed high-temperature magnesium alloys is expected to increase significantly, particularly in the powertrain applications where the creep resistance is always required. This article reviews recent developments of the creep-resistant magnesium alloys. Fundamental aspects of the creep deformation theory and mechanisms are described. The metallurgical principles for designing the creep-resistant alloys are highlighted. The creep behavior of magnesium and its conventional alloys is discussed based on some microstructure analyses. The mechanical properties, microstructure, and manufacturability of the newly developed creep-resistant magnesium alloys are also overviewed. The further research and development work is outlined in terms of developing magnesium alloys for some potential and value-added automotive applications. 相似文献

研究了镁合金AM60与异种金属Q235碳钢、18-8不锈钢、LY12铝合金和纯铝之间的电偶腐蚀,介绍了镁合金电偶腐蚀的最新研究进展,重点探讨了影响镁合金电偶腐蚀的因素和减轻镁合金电偶腐蚀的措施,最后提出了镁合金电偶腐蚀研究中需要解决的科学问题.研究和讨论分析表明,为防止镁合金电偶腐蚀,应全面而系统地进行合理的结构设计、选择合适的匹配材料、在镁合金和异种金属表面分别涂装性能优良的耐碱性涂层体系.由于镁腐蚀发生碱化,所以防止电偶腐蚀的环境应避免选用含铝涂层体系. 相似文献

进入21世纪以来,可降解金属成为医用金属材料研究的热点。镁及镁合金是过去10余年被广泛研究的代表性可降解金属材料。Web of Science检索显示,过去10余年有关医用镁合金的基础研究工作在全球范围内已经发表了3000余篇文章,人们对可降解镁合金与机体的力学、化学和生物学相互作用机制有了较深入的认识,初步开展了"医用镁合金的成分设计与性能优化"、"镁合金在体内的降解机制及其调控方法"、"镁合金降解产物的生物安全性与代谢途径"、"镁合金降解过程中的力学强度退化"等基础科学研究。尽管已有大量的新配方镁合金被设计与研究用于生物医学,但多为工程材料专家们的炒菜式思维,企业对投入费时费钱的生物医学验证坐等,医学转化成效低。在成百上千的已有材料配方中,迄今在全球上市的医用镁合金植入式医疗器械只有德国WE43系镁合金和韩国Mg-Ca-Zn合金,国内进入创新医疗器械的两个产品是以纯镁为材料。因此,拟从生物材料专家的视角出发,摒弃对力学性能的追求,从可降解金属的生物降解性和生物安全性两个最基本的判据出发,对元素周期表中适合可降解金属的元素进行初步筛选,在此基础上选出用于医用镁合金的合金化元素,换一个角度,从更佳的生物学性能和生物功能性出发,对未来医用镁合金材料设计指明可以尝试的新方向。 相似文献
