利用红、绿、蓝三个发光二极管(LED)作为液晶投影机的光源,设计了包括发光二极管、集光透镜组、偏振光转化器、积分透镜、场透镜、偏光板、十字合成棱镜,以及1.40 cm(0.55 in)液晶板的新型照明系统的光学引擎.比较了LED投影机与目前超高压汞灯投影机两种光学引擎技术,讨论了LED投影机的发光效率、光谱特性,并测量了样机的照度、对比度.测量结果达到了设计目标.  相似文献

We conducted a content analysis of a random sample of local television news programming in Los Angeles and Orange counties to assess representations of Blacks, Latinos, and Whites as lawbreakers and law defenders. 'Intergroup' comparisons of perpetrators (Black and Latino vs. White) revealed that Blacks and Latinos are significantly more likely than Whites to be portrayed as lawbreakers on television news. 'Interrole' comparisons (lawbreakers vs. law defenders) revealed that Blacks and Latinos are more likely to be portrayed as lawbreakers than as defenders, whereas Whites are significantly more likely to be portrayed as defenders than as lawbreakers. 'Interreality' comparisons of lawbreakers (television news vs. crime reports from the California Department of Justice) revealed that Blacks are overrepresented as lawbreakers, and Latinos and Whites are underrepresented as lawbreakers on television news compared to their respective crime rates obtained from the California Department of Justice for Los Angeles and Orange counties. Interreality comparisons of law defenders (television news vs. county employment records) revealed that Whites are overrepresented, Latinos are underrepresented, and Blacks are neither over- nor underrepresented as police officers on television news compared to employment reports. We speculate on the psychological effects of exposure to these intergroup, interrole, and interreality differentials on television news viewers.  相似文献

This paper describes an algorithm for texture defect detection in uniform and structured fabrics, which has been tested on the TILDA image database. The proposed approach is structured in a feature extraction phase, which relies on a complex symmetric Gabor filter bank and Principal Component Analysis (PCA), and on a defect identification phase, which is based on the Euclidean norm of features and on the comparison with fabric type specific parameters. Our analysis is performed on a patch basis, instead of considering single pixels. The performance has been evaluated with uniformly textured fabrics and fabrics with visible texture and grid-like structures, using as reference defect locations identified by human observers. The results show that our algorithm outperforms previous approaches in most cases, achieving a detection rate of 98.8% and a false alarm rate as low as 0.20–0.37%, whereas for heavily structured yarns misdetection rate can be as low as 5%.  相似文献

This paper describes the construction of new circuit configurations for some sequential circuits. These circuits are based on the microthyristor as a microelectronic bistable device that can store logic one and logic zero and on NMOS transistors that act either as pass transistors or drivers. The shift register, considered as a main type of sequential circuit, is developed from a D flip-flop that is designed basically from the microthyristor as a bistable device. Moreover, different types of counters based on the microthyristor as a storing element are developed. Microthyristor sequential circuits were found to perform well.  相似文献

The technology of magnetoresistive element (MRE) fabrication and integration as well as some experimental results on the performance of anisotropic and giant magnetoresistive elements are discussed. Most emphasis is put on isolated MREs in specially designed test structures, although results on completed heads will also be discussed. Ultra-thin chips of less than 20 μm become flexible, allowing integration of silicon IC technology with highly flexible electronics such as food packaging sensor systems or healthcare and sport monitoring tags as wearable patches or even directly in clothing textile. The ultra-thin chips in these products will be bent to a very high curvature, which puts a large strain on the chips during use.In this paper a modified four-point bending method is presented, which is capable of measuring chip stress at high curvatures. The strength of several types of ultra-thin chips is evaluated, including standalone ultra-thin test chips and back-thinned 20 μm thick microcontrollers, as well as assemblies containing integrated ultra-thin microcontroller chips. The effect of chip thickness, bending direction and backside finish on strength and minimum bending radius is investigated using the modified four point bending method. The effect of bonding ultra-thin chips to flexible foils on the assembly strength and minimum bending radius is evaluated as well as the effect of bending on electrical properties of the bonded microcontroller dies.  相似文献

As their popularity as dynamic platforms for information dissemination and sharing increases, the use of Weblogs (blogs) which track and comment on real world (political, news, entertainment) events is also growing. The success of the blog as a popular medium for information sharing, on the other hand, is also its weakest spot in that there is little support beyond keyword based searches for blog entries. Consequently, there is impending need for navigational support, which can help users relate a large, diverse, and inherently distributed collection of blogosphere. In this paper, we first note that the existence of large degrees of content overlaps in the form of quotation/commentary pairs (as well as content borrowings across media outlets) can be leveraged for tracking the topic development patterns within the blogosphere. Relying on this observation, we first propose focus and flow analysis techniques that rely on reuse detection and focus and flow to help place blog entries into logical organizations. We then show that these implicit or explicit quotations as well as focus analysis could be leveraged to identify the contexts in which entries occur; thus, resulting in more effective tagging. Thus, we propose CDIP (a collection-driven, yet individuality-preserving tagging system) which relies on relationships provided by quotation/reuse detection and semantic-focus analysis to automatically tag the blogs in such a way that, not-only the related blogs share tags, but also individuality of the entries is preserved for discriminating tag-based accesses.  相似文献

The thin layer of the II–VI and IV–VI compound growths on crystalline substrates by laser deposition was analyzed. The influence of substrate properties on crystallite formation was determined. The initial stages of the growth of CdSe on ZnSe as well as ZnSe and PbS crystallite growth and layer formation on a Si substrate were investigated by ESCA or AFM and by the influence of clusters on the recombination of non-equilibrium carriers in substrates. The atom behavior on a terrace-step surface was analyzed and a few cases were simulated within the framework of the density-functional theory. The terrace step on Si (111) relaxation and preferred sites of Se adsorption were calculated from potential energy surfaces seen by adatoms.  相似文献
