A comparative study of the adsorption of petroleum products by micro- and macroporous carbon sorbents was performed. For this
purpose, four carbon sorbent samples prepared from various raw materials by various processing techniques were used. The pore
structures and adsorption capacities of these sorbents for petroleum products were studied. It was found that the adsorption
of petroleum products on porous and nonporous carbon sorbents occurred in different manners. In this case, macroporous sorbents

In this paper, both volatile and strongly adsorbed products of heavy hydrocarbon conversion on a zeolite were investigated by gas-phase and solid-state NMR. For this purpose, the reactions were carried out in sealed glass tubes under vacuum to collect the volatile reaction products. This procedure is demonstrated for pure 2-ethylphenol conversion on ultra-stabilized zeolite Y leading to both the formation of light alkanes and deoxygenation products. The above-mentioned method is useful to improve the understanding of heavy hydrocarbon conversion under batch conditions. 相似文献

Isotactic poly(1-pentene) was degraded in the presence of pure oxygen at 115°C. The functional groups present in the non-volatile products were identified using infra-red spectroscopy. The volatile products formed were identified by means of a relatively new technique which combines thermal and mass chromatography. In this study, fourteen volatile products were detected and identified and their relative abundance estimated. The results obtained could readily be reproduced. In connection with our research program directed toward the synthesis of anthraquinones by new catalyst, we achieved a new method for preparation of some anthraquinone derivatives from the reaction of aromatic compounds with phthalic anhydride in the presence of silica sulfuric acid (SSA). The advantages of this method are availability of starting materials, simplicity of the reaction, reusability of catalyst and purity of products. In this reaction, the products were obtained via easy work-up in high yields and short reaction times. The structures of products were assigned by physical data and spectroscopic methods. 相似文献
