本文给出了一种基于ARM的智能家庭网关的实现方法.硬件采用高速低功耗的32位微控制器ARM,软件系统采用在嵌入式实时操作系统uC/OS-Ⅱ平台上开发,实现了TCP/IP协议栈和HTTP协议,建成了一个嵌入式Web Server,用于实现远程Web访问.通过本智能家庭网关可以实现对各种家电设备的远程监控,同时也可以在本地实现同样的操作.本方法实现的智能家庭网关具有开发快、稳定性好、成本低、体积小、功耗低等特点,是一种比较理想的方案. 相似文献

A new OSI-based model is described that can be used for the classification of residential gateways. It is applied to analyze current gateway solutions and draw evolutionary paths for the medium to long term. From this it is concluded that particularly set-top boxes and broadband modems, as opposed to game consoles and PCs, have a strong potential to evolve toward gateways that deliver network services to the home on all OSI layers, although they probably will not converge. In our model, we have not found any compelling reasons for the residential gateway industry to support concurrent multiple broadband access network connections on a single residential gateway in the near future. 相似文献

As networking technologies penetrate wide varieties of devices for daily usage, home networks are becoming a reality. The bandwidth and always-on connectivity provided by the rapidly growing broadband technologies, such as cable and digital subscriber line (DSL), render home networking even more attractive. A residential gateway is a device that interconnects various home devices to one another as well as to the Internet. The home networks being deployed today are simple and inexpensive with the residential gateway providing only connectivity. As home networks evolve and become more widespread, emerging applications on home networks will demand additional features that require quality of service. We present an architecture of a next-generation QoS-enabled residential gateway. Such a residential gateway, in conjunction with the developments in QoS-enabled wireless LAN technologies, will usher in a new generation of home networks that are capable of supporting a wide range of applications. 相似文献

A new architecture that can be used for offering an Internet telephony service to residential customers is introduced. The architecture addresses scalability and availability requirements of mass-market deployment of carrier-grade services and supports interconnection with SS7 for Internet telephony calls to the public switched telephone network. The architecture is based on the concept of a gateway decomposition that separates the media transformation function of today's H.323 gateways from the gateway control function of the gateways and centralizes the intelligence in a call agent. The media gateway control protocol is introduced as the protocol between the call agent that assumes the gateway control function and the gateway that provides just the media transformation function. The residential gateway (RG) is set to become a key infrastructure component in the future home network. Ideally home networks should be easy to set up and operate and it should also be possible to securely deliver and manage services. For service providers, the RG appears to offer a huge opportunity to extend their presence into the home and in so doing own the territory. However, a new generation of customers are used to retaining control and many people will be unwilling to let external agents intrude too far into their environment. This article describes a wireless local loop system based on wideband CDMA technology. The unique features of CDMA technology make it a formidable alternative for fixed wireless telephone applications. The W-CDMA technology used by this WLL system is selected to provide primarily ISDN-like services and data rates to subscribers. This technology also provides a smooth transition into the third generation wireless technology. The air interface used in this WLL system is an interim TTA standard, which specifies a CDMA-based protocol operating in the 2.30-2.40 GHz band. The standard allows two types of bandwidth (5 and 10 MHz). The WLL system described in this article includes the WLL gateway switch, the radio port controller and the radio interface unit. The gateway switch connects the radio system to the PSTN and ISDN. The RPC provides concentration and control functions to a number of base stations called RPs. The RIU is comprised of the fixed units attached to the residential or commercial buildings. Also included are the radio port operation and maintenance (RPOM) unit, which is responsible for maintaining and managing the radio network elements, and the interworking function unit, which is used as a gateway to data services such as the Internet and PSPDN 相似文献

There are many candidates for a communication infrastructure between the smart home gateway and service providers, distribution centers or end-users accessing smart home applications remotely. Optimally the access technology should be already deployed in order to minimize initial investments and in parallel must provide sufficient reliability and security even for critical applications. Therefore, we focused at already deployed platforms which have a strong potential to become the key communication technologies for smart home domain. Furthermore, we investigated the applicability of residential gateway access technology for emerging home automation services. Finally, we developed and demonstrate a middleware solution enabling the “state of technology” IP-based home gateway to serve as a universal multi-purpose enabler for connected home automation systems like alarm systems, smart metering and grid, photo-voltaic energy production systems, etc. 相似文献
