We report a polarization-independent integrated acousto-optical double-stage wavelength filter in X-cut, Y-propagating LiNbO3. The device consists of a combination of four acousto-optical mode converters, a TE- and a TM-pass polarizer, and two polarization splitters; their specific design and properties are discussed. The filter has a bandwidth of 1.4 nm and a tuning range of 76 nm around λ1.55 μm. Maximum filter transmission is achieved with a RF drive power of only 80 mW; it excites via a single unidirectional transducer a guided surface acoustic wave driving the four polarization converters of both stages. Fiber-to-fiber insertion loss is 4.6 dB for TM- and 4.8 dB for TE-polarized waves. Multiwavelength filtering has been demonstrated  相似文献

A polarization-independent frequency selective rasorber (FSR) with a transmission band at high frequency and a broadened absorption band at low frequency is designed and analyzed in this paper. The FSR consists of a resistive sheet and a bandpass frequency selective surface (FSS). A strip-type micro resonator (MR) is developed and applied in the resistive element. The MR is equivalent to a parallel LC circuit and resonates at the transmission band. The induced surface current distributions on the resistive element at different frequencies can be controlled as expected using the MRs, so that a high in-band transmission at high frequency and an absorption band at low frequency can be obtained, which are almost independent to each other. The absorption bandwidth can be broadened by cascading more MRs with several resistor-loaded metallic strips. Besides, due to the tiny dimensions of the MRs, polarization-independent absorptive/transmissive performances can be achieved by printing two orthogonal arrays of resistive elements on different surfaces of a dielectric substrate. The performance of the FSR is verified by both numerical simulation and experimental measurement.  相似文献

A novel average inductor current sensing circuit integrable in CMOS technologies is presented. It is designed for DC–DC converters using buck, boost, or buck-boost topologies and operating in continuous conduction mode at high switching frequencies. The average inductor current value is used by the DC–DC controllers to increase the light load power conversion efficiency (e.g., selection of the modulation mode, selection of the dynamic width of the transistors). It can also be used to perform the constant current charging phase when charging lithium-ion batteries, or to simply detect overcurrent faults. The proposed average inductor current sensing method is based on the lossless sensing MOSFET principle widely used in monolithic CMOS integrated DC–DC converters for measuring the current flowing through the power switches. It consists of taking a sample of the current flowing through the power switches at a specific point in time during each energizing and de-energizing cycle of the inductor. By controlling precisely the point in time at which this sample is taken, the average inductor current value can be sensed directly. The circuit simulations were done with the Cadence Spectre simulator. The improvements compared to the basic sensing MOSFET principle are a lower power consumption because no high bandwidth amplifier is required, and less noise emission because the sensing MOSFET is no more switched. Additionally, the novel average inductor current sensing circuit overcomes the low bandwidth limitation previously associated with the sensing MOSFET principle, thus enabling it to be used in DC–DC converters operating at switching frequencies up to 10 MHz and above.  相似文献

本文讨论了大功率、高增益、宽频带大功率速调管的设计和制造,还采用小信号增益和大信号效率计算程序,对宽频带速调管的群聚段进行了设计。当小信号增益大于50dB时,7腔速调管的群聚频宽宽于10%,8腔速调管的群聚频宽可达1015% 给出了两类宽频带输出电路,即滤波器型输出电路和重叠模双间隙腔输出电路的设计方法和测试结果,结果表明:前一种输出电路的频宽可达7.510%,后一种输出电路的频宽可达1015%。 研制了两种类型速调管,采用滤波器型输出段的速调管的性能达到:1dB等激励频宽为7.5%,效率为38%,饱和增益大于43dB,输出功率大于2.5MW。采用双间隙腔输出段的速调管的1dB等激励频宽迟10%,工作稳定。  相似文献

This paper proposes a high performance tunable Voltage Differencing Inverting Buffered Amplifier (VDIBA) where transconductance of VDIBA is enhanced by using programmable positive feedback technique and bandwidth is enhanced by using resistive compensation technique. The enhanced performance of proposed VDIBA is demonstrated by presenting detailed frequency analysis. Furthermore, it is verified that transconductance of proposed VDIBA can be enhanced up to 10.6 mS at tuning current (Ic) of 100 µA. Moreover, resistive compensation technique enhance bandwidth of propose circuit up to 263 MHz. To illustrate the effectiveness of proposed circuit, voltage mode universal biquad filter is designed as an application example. The pole frequency of proposed filter is tunable in range of 10.5–83.4 MHz. The proposed VDIBA and its filter applications are designed and simulated using TSMC 0.18 µm CMOS technology in Cadence virtuoso schematic composer at ± 0.6 V supply voltage.  相似文献

本文提出了矩形π-TM310 双间隙腔加载同轴滤波器型宽带输出电路,并对其可行性进行了论证,对高次模双间隙腔中非工作模式的干扰程度和同轴线输出电路的功率容限等重要问题做了定量分析。我们通过调整矩形双间隙腔的长宽比例并采用凹入结构,明显扩大了π-TM310模与相邻非工作模的频率间隔,有效抑制了非工作模式的干扰;又采用了非常规的电子注孔布局,使各个电子注孔的特性阻抗更均匀,而且在加载同轴滤波器之后仍然很均匀。研究结果表明,经过优化设计的矩形π-TM310 双间隙腔加载同轴滤波器型输出电路具有很宽的输出频带,在X波段相对带宽达到14%左右。但由于π模双间隙腔与同轴线的耦合口较小,而且该处还有短路销钉,导致其输出功率容限较低,约为几百kW。因此,该类输出电路比较适合于X波段或更高频段的中功率宽带多注速调管。  相似文献

该文介绍了一种超宽带双信道速调管输出回路的设计思路和实现过程。以Ansoft HFSS软件为设计平台,在S波段设计出一个带宽超过550 MHz的超宽带双信道双间隙耦合腔输出回路。设计了信道转换机构,并分别确定了两个信道的谐振腔参数。得出了不改变两个谐振腔参数,只需调节耦合槽的尺寸就能够实现信道转换的结论。通过对HFSS软件建立的模型进行计算,得到了双间隙耦合腔输出回路中各模式的频率,与冷测结果基本一致。利用集中元件等效电路法计算了双间隙耦合腔输出回路的间隙阻抗,计算结果与冷测结果基本一致。  相似文献

A general and unified large signal averaged circuit model for current programmed DC-to-DC converters is proposed. In the averaged circuit model, the active switch is modeled by a current source, with its value equal to the averaged current flowing through it, and the diode is modeled hy the voltage source, with its value equal to the averaged voltage across it. The averaged circuit model has the same topology as the switching converter. The large signal averaged circuit model for current programmed buck, boost, buck-boost and Cuk converters are proposed, from which the large signal characteristics can be obtained. The steady-state and small signal transfer functions of the current programmed DC-to-DC converters can all be derived from their large signal averaged circuit models. The large signal characteristics of the current programmed buck converter are studied by both the phase plane trajectory and the time domain analysis. Experimental prototypes for a current programmed buck converter, with and without an input filter, are breadboarded to verify the analysis  相似文献

This paper describes a high performance voltage differencing inverting buffered amplifier (VDIBA). The transconductance of the proposed circuit is enhanced by using positive feedback technique with only two extra transistors used in active load. Moreover, the bandwidth of proposed circuit is enhanced by using resistive compensation technique. The performance of proposed VDIBA is demonstrated by detailed frequency analysis. Furthermore, it is shown that the transconductance can be enhanced up to 4.61 mS at biasing current of 300 µA. In addition, a third order low pass filter is given as an application example to confirm the high performance of the proposed VDIBA. The proposed low pass filter operates at natural pole frequency of 15 MHz. The proposed VDIBA and its filter application are implemented using TSMC 90 nm CMOS technology in Cadence virtuoso schematic composer at ±0.6 V supply voltage.  相似文献

本文开展了一种用于通信系统的4.6%带宽的S 波段连续波宽带速调管KS4158 的研制工作,重点研究了该速调管的宽带输出电路,详细介绍了宽带输出电路的两种设计方案:滤波器加载重叠模双间隙耦合腔宽带输出电路和三节滤波器加载宽带输出电路。文中还介绍了基于矢量网络分析仪的宽带输出电路的扫频测量法,给出了这两种宽带输出电路的测试结果。最后,给出了分别采用上述两种宽带输出电路方案的两只速调管的测试结果,并对这两种方案进行了分析和比较,其中采用三节滤波器加载宽带输出电路方案的样管的连续波输出功率大于17kW,瞬时带宽大于4.6%。  相似文献

设计一种数字控制的高增益宽带宽放大器,提出了采用多个放大器直接耦合级联方式,通过理论分析合理选择各级增益的分配,明显改善了放大器的低频特性,极大地提高了增益范围。系统由前置放大电路、程控增益放大电路、通频带选择电路、功率放大电路、单片机控制电路以及电源模块6个部分组成。其中通频带选择电路由两路巴特沃斯低通滤波器组成,可实现通频带的切换;功率放大电路由多个高速缓冲芯片BUF634并联组成,扩大了电流输出范围,实现了功率放大;单片机控制电路以MSP430G2553为主控芯片,使用液晶12864实现显示功能,人机界面友好。经测试,本系统能够完成0~10MHz频率范围内的0~80dB增益步进可调功能。在增益为60dB时,输出电压噪声峰峰值小于0.3V,很好的完成了系统的设计指标。  相似文献

A new all-pass (AP) Log-domain filter is presented. The circuit is based on integrator loop and the current sources. The filter circuit has a very simple structure since it uses only bipolar junction transistors (BJT’s) and a grounded capacitor. The configuration offers large dynamic range at low power supply and higher frequency operation. The filter has a large bandwidth due to its inherent current-mode (CM) nature and Log-domain properties. Phase angle can be electronically tuned through the bias current. The circuit can be implemented in integrated form. PSPICE simulations are given to confirm the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

A new polarization-independent tunable spectral filter based on the combination of a single isotropic acoustooptic cell and a pair of conventional diffraction gratings is suggested and investigated. The filter features narrow bandwidth, frequency shift compensation, and low polarization dependence. Using standard AMTIR-1 chalcogenide glass acoustooptic modulator with frequency 40-77 MHz and ruled diffraction gratings with 600 grooves/mm, a 3-dB bandwidth of 1.1 nm, and a tuning range of 16 nm were obtained. Tuning range can be increased by the use of acoustooptic cell with increased center frequency or diffraction grating of a lower dispersion. Inserting the filter inside a laser cavity, continuous-wave tunable generation of Er-doped fiber laser with maximum output power 3 mW was realized. When a Fabry-Perot etalon (0.166-nm free spectral range, 40% reflectance) was inserted into laser cavity, the linewidth was observed to be less than 0.05 nm  相似文献

A microstrip ring resonator circuit loaded with two p-i-n diodes has been developed for use as a switchable filter. By replacing one p-i-n diode with a varactor diode, the switchable filter can be made electronically tunable. Isolation exceeding 20 dB with 9% tuning bandwidth was demonstrated. An analysis based on transmission line theory was used to model both circuits. The analysis includes the effects of diode parasitics, coupling gaps, dispersion, and mounting-gap capacitance. A photonic integrated circuit with an InGaAs/InGaAsP multiple-quantum-well (MQW) traveling-wave optical amplifier and a grating-assisted vertical-coupler filter as a noise filter have been demonstrated. A fiber-to-amplifier/filter gain of ~0.5 dB and a 3-dB filter bandwidth (FWHM) of ~70 Å at 1.56 μm filter center wavelength have been achieved. This photonic circuit is potentially suitable as a building-block for preamplifier lightwave receivers or high-gain, high-power optical amplifiers which are essential for optical communication systems and lightwave networks  相似文献

Bucket-brigade devices have been used to build a new type of active filter that is equivalent to a second-order digital filter without the need for complex analog-to-digital conversion. The filter response characteristics, i.e., center frequency and bandwidth, depend on the circuit parameters of gain and clock frequency, both of which may be electronically controlled. By using a variable clock signal, 1023 frequencies can be accurately selected by the proper setting of ten switches. The selected clock frequency uniquely determines the center frequency of the bucket-brigade filter. The programmable feature of the clock circuit, therefore, allows the convenient selection of the center frequency of the bandpass filter. A slight modification to the programmable bandpass filter converts it into a programmable oscillator. Thus, any one of 1023 tones can be generated by the proper setting of the switches. A device that exhibits both filter and oscillator functions has been demonstrated in the laboratory.  相似文献

In fiber optical parametric amplifiers (OPAs), idlers are generated during the amplification process. For very wide and dense signal input spectra, idlers may overlap with signals, thereby interfering with proper operation as an amplifier. In this paper, filter-based methods to fully utilize the bandwidth of OPAs and wavelength converters in the presence of very broad signal spectra are investigated. In the basic filter setup, two parallel OPAs and two filters are used; alternatively, one can use a single OPA bidirectionally and a single filter. An interleaver-based arrangement, separating signals from idlers at the system output, with a crosstalk of below -20 dB and subdecibel bit-error-rate penalty, is experimentally demonstrated.  相似文献
