Rechargeable aqueous Zn‐based batteries, benefiting from their good reliability, low cost, high energy/power densities, and ecofriendliness, show great potential in energy storage systems. However, the poor cycling performance due to the formation of Zn dendrites greatly hinders their practical applications. In this work, a trilayer 3D CC‐ZnO@C‐Zn anode is obtained by in situ growing ZIFs (zeolitic‐imidazolate frameworks) derived ZnO@C core–shell nanorods on carbon cloth followed by Zn deposition, which exhibits excellent antidendrite performance. Using CC‐ZnO@C‐Zn as the anode and a branch‐like Co(CO3)0.5(OH)x·0.11H2O@CoMoO4 (CC‐CCH@CMO) as the cathode, a Zn–Co battery is rationally designed, displaying excellent energy/power densities (235 Wh kg?1, 12.6 kW kg?1) and remarkable cycling performance (71.1% after 5000 cycles). Impressively, when using a gel electrolyte, a highly customizable, fiber‐shaped flexible all‐solid‐state Zn–Co battery is assembled for the first time, which presents a high energy density of 4.6 mWh cm?3, peak power density of 0.42 W cm?3, and long durability (82% capacity retention after 1600 cycles) as well as excellent flexibility. The unique 3D electrode design in this study provides a novel approach to achieve high‐performance Zn‐based batteries, showing promising applications in flexible and portable energy‐storage systems.  相似文献

The miniaturization of energy storage units is pivotal for the development of next‐generation portable electronic devices. Micro‐supercapacitors (MSCs) hold great potential to work as on‐chip micro‐power sources and energy storage units complementing batteries and energy harvester systems. Scalable production of supercapacitor materials with cost‐effective and high‐throughput processing methods is crucial for the widespread application of MSCs. Here, wet‐jet milling exfoliation of graphite is reported to scale up the production of graphene as a supercapacitor material. The formulation of aqueous/alcohol‐based graphene inks allows metal‐free, flexible MSCs to be screen‐printed. These MSCs exhibit areal capacitance (Careal) values up to 1.324 mF cm?2 (5.296 mF cm?2 for a single electrode), corresponding to an outstanding volumetric capacitance (Cvol) of 0.490 F cm?3 (1.961 F cm?3 for a single electrode). The screen‐printed MSCs can operate up to a power density above 20 mW cm?2 at an energy density of 0.064 µWh cm?2. The devices exhibit excellent cycling stability over charge–discharge cycling (10 000 cycles), bending cycling (100 cycles at a bending radius of 1 cm) and folding (up to angles of 180°). Moreover, ethylene vinyl acetate‐encapsulated MSCs retain their electrochemical properties after a home‐laundry cycle, providing waterproof and washable properties for prospective application in wearable electronics.  相似文献

The demand for a new generation of flexible, portable, and high‐capacity power sources increases rapidly with the development of advanced wearable electronic devices. Here we report a simple process for large‐scale fabrication of self‐standing composite film electrodes composed of NiCo2O4@carbon nanotube (CNT) for supercapacitors. Among all composite electrodes prepared, the one fired in air displays the best electrochemical behavior, achieving a specific capacitance of 1,590 F g?1 at 0.5 A g?1 while maintaining excellent stability. The NiCo2O4@CNT/CNT film electrodes are fabricated via stacking NiCo2O4@CNT and CNT alternately through vacuum filtration. Lightweight, flexible, and self‐standing film electrodes (≈24.3 µm thick) exhibit high volumetric capacitance of 873 F cm?3 (with an areal mass of 2.5 mg cm?2) at 0.5 A g?1. An all‐solid‐state asymmetric supercapacitor consists of a composite film electrode and a treated carbon cloth electrode has not only high energy density (≈27.6 Wh kg?1) at 0.55 kW kg?1 (including the weight of the two electrodes) but also excellent cycling stability (retaining ≈95% of the initial capacitance after 5000 cycles), demonstrating the potential for practical application in wearable devices.  相似文献

Rational assembly of carbon nanostructures into large‐area films is a key step to realize their applications in ubiquitous electronics and energy devices. Here, a self‐assembly methodology is devised to organize diverse carbon nanostructures (nanotubes, dots, microspheres, etc.) into homogeneous films with potentially infinite lateral dimensions. On the basis of studies of the redox reactions in the systems and the structures of films, the spontaneous deposition of carbon nanostructures onto the surface of the copper substrate is found to be driven by the electrical double layer between copper and solution. As a notable example, the as‐assembled multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) films display exceptional properties. They are a promising material for flexible electronics with superior electrical and mechanical compliance characteristics. Finally, two kinds of all‐solid‐state supercapacitors based on the self‐assembled MWCNT films are fabricated. The supercapacitor using carbon cloth as the current collector delivers an energy density of 3.5 Wh kg?1 and a power density of 28.1 kW kg?1, which are comparable with the state‐of‐the‐art supercapacitors fabricated by the costly single‐walled carbon nanotubes and arrays. The supercapacitor free of foreign current collector is ultrathin and shows impressive volumetric energy density (0.58 mWh cm?3) and power density (0.39 W cm?3) too.  相似文献

Spinel‐type NiCo2O4 (NCO) and NiCo2S4 (NCS) polyhedron architectures with sizes of 500–600 nm and rich mesopores with diameters of 1–2 nm are prepared facilely by the molecular design of Ni and Co into polyhedron‐shaped zeolitic imidazolate frameworks as solid precursors. Both as‐prepared NCO and NCS nanostructures exhibit excellent pseudocapacitance and stability as electrodes in supercapacitors. In particular, the exchange of O2? in the lattice of NCO with S2? obviously improves the electrochemical performance. NCS shows a highly attractive capacitance of 1296 F g?1 at a current density of 1 A g?1, ultrahigh rate capability with 93.2% capacitance retention at 10 A g?1, and excellent cycling stability with a capacitance retention of 94.5% after cycling at 1 A g?1 for 6000 times. The asymmetric supercapacitor with an NCS negative electrode and an active carbon positive electrode delivers a very attractive energy density of 44.8 Wh kg?1 at power density 794.5 W kg?1, and a favorable energy density of 37.7 Wh kg?1 is still achieved at a high power density of 7981.1 W kg?1. The specific mesoporous polyhedron architecture contributes significantly to the outstanding electrochemical performances of both NCO and NCS for capacitive energy storage.  相似文献

Organic hybrid supercapacitors that consist of a battery electrode and a capacitive electrode show greatly improved energy density, but their power density is generally limited by the poor rate capability of battery‐type electrodes. In addition, flexible organic hybrid supercapacitors are rarely reported. To address the above issues, herein an in‐plane assembled orthorhombic Nb2O5 nanorod film anode with high‐rate Li+ intercalation to develop a flexible Li‐ion hybrid capacitor (LIC) is reported. The binder‐/additive‐free film exhibits excellent rate capability (≈73% capacity retention with the rate increased from 0.5 to 20 C) and good cycling stability (>2500 times). Kinetic analyses reveal that the high rate performance is mainly attributed to the excellent in‐plane assembly of interconnected single‐crystalline Nb2O5 nanorods on the current collector, ensuring fast electron transport, facile Li‐ion migration in the porous film, and greatly reduced ion‐diffusion length. Using such a Nb2O5 film as anode and commercial activated carbon as cathode, a flexible LIC is designed. It delivers both high gravimetric and high volumetric energy/power densities (≈95.55 Wh kg?1/5350.9 W kg?1; 6.7 mW h cm?3/374.63 mW cm?3), surpassing previous typical Li‐intercalation electrode‐based LICs. Furthermore, this LIC device still keeps good electrochemical attributes even under serious bending states (30°–180°).  相似文献

Room‐temperature sodium‐ion batteries have attracted great attentions for large‐scale energy storage applications in renewable energy. However, exploring suitable anode materials with high reversible capacity and cyclic stability is still a challenge. The VS4, with parallel quasi‐1D chains structure of V4+(S22?)2, which provides large interchain distance of 5.83 Å and high capacity, has showed great potential for sodium storage. Here, the uniform cuboid‐shaped VS4 nanoparticles are prepared as anode for sodium‐ion batteries by the controllable of graphene oxide (GO)‐template contents. It exhibits superb electrochemical performances of high‐specific charge capacity (≈580 mAh·g?1 at 0.1 A·g?1), long‐cycle‐life (≈98% retain at 0.5 A·g?1 after 300 cycles), and high rates (up to 20 A·g?1). In addition, electrolytes are optimized to understand the sodium storage mechanism. It is thus demonstrated that the findings have great potentials for the applications in high‐performance sodium‐ion batteries.  相似文献

Hydrous ruthenium oxide (RuO2)/graphene sheet composites (ROGSCs) with different loadings of Ru are prepared by combining sol–gel and low‐temperature annealing processes. The graphene sheets (GSs) are well‐separated by fine RuO2 particles (5–20 nm) and, simultaneously, the RuO2 particles are anchored by the richly oxygen‐containing functional groups of reduced, chemically exfoliated GSs onto their surface. Benefits from the combined advantages of GSs and RuO2 in such a unique structure are that the ROGSC‐based supercapacitors exhibit high specific capacitance (~570 F g?1 for 38.3 wt% Ru loading), enhanced rate capability, excellent electrochemical stability (~97.9% retention after 1000 cycles), and high energy density (20.1 Wh kg?1) at low operation rate (100 mA g?1) or high power density (10000 W kg?1) at a reasonable energy density (4.3 Wh kg?1). Interestingly, the total specific capacitance of ROGSCs is higher than the sum of specific capacitances of pure GSs and pure RuO2 in their relative ratios, which is indicative of a positive synergistic effect of GSs and RuO2 on the improvement of electrochemical performance. These findings demonstrate the importance and great potential of graphene‐based composites in the development of high‐performance energy‐storage systems.  相似文献

Batteries and supercapacitors are critical devices for electrical energy storage with wide applications from portable electronics to transportation and grid. However, rechargeable batteries are typically limited in power density, while supercapacitors suffer low energy density. Here, a novel symmetric Na‐ion pseudocapacitor with a power density exceeding 5.4 kW kg?1 at 11.7 A g?1, a cycling life retention of 64.5% after 10 000 cycles at 1.17 A g?1, and an energy density of 26 Wh kg?1 at 0.585 A g?1 is reported. Such a device operates on redox reactions occurring on both electrodes with an identical active material, viz., Na3V2(PO4)3 encapsulated inside nanoporous carbon. This device, in a full‐cell scale utilizing highly reversible and high‐rate Na‐ion intercalational pseudocapacitance, can bridge the performance gap between batteries and supercapacitors. The characteristics of the device and the potentially low‐cost production make it attractive for hybrid electric vehicles and low‐maintenance energy storage systems.  相似文献

Wire‐shaped electrodes for solid‐state cable‐type supercapacitors (SSCTS) with high device capacitance and ultrahigh rate capability are prepared by depositing poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) onto self‐doped TiO2 nanotubes (D‐TiO2) aligned on Ti wire via a well‐controlled electrochemical process. The large surface area, short ion diffusion path, and high electrical conductivity of these rationally engineered electrodes all contribute to the energy storage performance of SSCTS. The cyclic voltammetric studies show the good energy storage ability of the SSCTS even at an ultrahigh scan rate of 1000 V s?1, which reveals the excellent instantaneous power characteristics of the device. The capacitance of 1.1 V SSCTS obtained from the charge–discharge measurements is 208.36 µF cm?1 at a discharge current of 100 µA cm?1 and 152.36 µF cm?1 at a discharge current of 2000 µA cm?1, respectively, indicating the ultrahigh rate capability. Furthermore, the SSCTS shows superior cyclic stability during long‐term (20 000 cycles) cycling, and also maintains excellent performance when it is subjected to bending and succeeding straightening process.  相似文献

Hybrid metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) demonstrate great promise as ideal electrode materials for energy‐related applications. Herein, a well‐organized interleaved composite of graphene‐like nanosheets embedded with MnO2 nanoparticles (MnO2@C‐NS) using a manganese‐based MOF and employed as a promising anode material for Li‐ion hybrid capacitor (LIHC) is engineered. This unique hybrid architecture shows intriguing electrochemical properties including high reversible specific capacity 1054 mAh g?1 (close to the theoretical capacity of MnO2, 1232 mAh g?1) at 0.1 A g?1 with remarkable rate capability and cyclic stability (90% over 1000 cycles). Such a remarkable performance may be assigned to the hierarchical porous ultrathin carbon nanosheets and tightly attached MnO2 nanoparticles, which provide structural stability and low contact resistance during repetitive lithiation/delithiation processes. Moreover, a novel LIHC is assembled using a MnO2@C‐NS anode and MOF derived ultrathin nanoporous carbon nanosheets (derived from other potassium‐based MOFs) cathode materials. The LIHC full‐cell delivers an ultrahigh specific energy of 166 Wh kg?1 at 550 W kg?1 and maintained to 49.2 Wh kg?1 even at high specific power of 3.5 kW kg?1 as well as long cycling stability (91% over 5000 cycles). This work opens new opportunities for designing advanced MOF derived electrodes for next‐generation energy storage devices.  相似文献

Maricite NaFePO4 nanodots with minimized sizes (≈1.6 nm) uniformly embedded in porous N‐doped carbon nanofibers (designated as NaFePO4@C) are first prepared by electrospinning for maximized Na‐storage performance. The obtained flexible NaFePO4@C fiber membrane adherent on aluminum foil is directly used as binder‐free cathode for sodium‐ion batteries, revealing that the ultrasmall nanosize effect as well as a high‐potential desodiation process can transform the generally perceived electrochemically inactive maricite NaFePO4 into a highly active amorphous phase; meanwhile, remarkable electrochemical performance in terms of high reversible capacity (145 mA h g?1 at 0.2 C), high rate capability (61 mA h g?1 at 50 C), and unprecedentedly high cyclic stability (≈89% capacity retention over 6300 cycles) is achieved. Furthermore, the soft package Na‐ion full battery constructed by the NaFePO4@C nanofibers cathode and the pure carbon nanofibers anode displays a promising energy density of 168.1 Wh kg?1 and a notable capacity retention of 87% after 200 cycles. The distinctive 3D network structure of very fine NaFePO4 nanoparticles homogeneously encapsulated in interconnected porous N‐doped carbon nanofibers, can effectively improve the active materials' utilization rate, facilitate the electrons/Na+ ions transport, and strengthen the electrode stability upon prolonged cycling, leading to the fascinating Na‐storage performance.  相似文献

Flexible energy storage devices are critical components for emerging flexible and wearable electronics. Improving the electrochemical performance of flexible energy storage devices depends largely on development of novel electrode architectures and new systems. Here, a new class of flexible energy storage device called flexible sodium‐ion pseudocapacitors is developed based on 3D‐flexible Na2Ti3O7 nanosheet arrays/carbon textiles (NTO/CT) as anode and flexible reduced graphene oxide film (GFs) as cathode without metal current collectors or conducting additives. The NTO/CT anode with advanced electrode architectures is fabricated by directly growing Na2Ti3O7 nanosheet arrays on carbon textiles with robust adhesion through a simple hydrothermal process. The flexible GF//NTO/CT configuration achieves a high energy density of 55 Wh kg?1 and high power density of 3000 W kg?1. Taking the fully packaged flexible sodium‐ion pseudocapacitors into consideration, the maximum practical volumetric energy density and power density reach up to 1.3 mWh cm?3 and 70 mW cm?3, respectively. In addition, the flexible GF//NTO/CT device demonstrates a stable electrochemical performances with almost 100% capacitance retention under harsh mechanical deformation.  相似文献

The sluggish kinetics of Faradaic reactions in bulk electrodes is a significant obstacle to achieve high energy and power density in energy storage devices. Herein, a composite of LiFePO4 particles trapped in fast bifunctional conductor rGO&C@Li3V2(PO4)3 nanosheets is prepared through an in situ competitive redox reaction. The composite exhibits extraordinary rate capability (71 mAh g?1 at 15 A g?1) and remarkable cycling stability (0.03% decay per cycle over 1000 cycles at 10 A g?1). Improved extrinsic pseudocapacitive contribution is the origin of fast kinetics, which endows this composite with high energy and power density, since the unique 2D nanosheets and embedded ultrafine LiFePO4 nanoparticles can shorten the ion and electron diffusion length. Even applied to Li‐ion hybrid capacitors, the obtained devices still achieve high power density of 3.36 kW kg?1 along with high energy density up to 77.8 Wh kg?1. Density functional theory computations also validate that the remarkable rate performance is facilitated by the desirable ionic and electronic conductivity of the composite.  相似文献

A facile one‐step printing process by 3D micro‐extrusion affording binder‐free thermally reduced graphene oxide (TRGO) based electrochemical capacitors (ECs) that display high‐rate performance is presented. Key intermediates are binder‐free TRGO dispersion printing inks with concentrations up to 15 g L?1. This versatile printing technique enables easy fabrication of EC electrodes, useful in both aqueous and non‐aqueous electrolyte systems. The as‐prepared TRGO material with high specific surface area (SSA) of 593 m2 g?1 and good electrical conductivity of ≈16 S cm?1 exhibits impressive charge storage performances. At 100 and 120 Hz, ECs fabricated with TRGO show time constants of 2.5 ms and 2.3 ms respectively. Very high capacitance values are derived at both frequencies ranging from 3.55 mF cm?2 to 1.76 mF cm?2. Additionally, these TRGO electrodes can be charged and discharged at very high voltage scan rates up to 15 V s?1 yielding 4 F cm?3 with 50% capacitance retention. Electrochemical performance of TRGO electrodes in electrolyte containing tetraethyl ammonium tetrafluoroborate and acetonitrile (TEABF4‐ACN) yields high energy density of 4.43 mWh cm?3 and power density up to 42.74 kW cm?3, which is very promising for AC line filtering application and could potentially substitute state of the art electrolytic capacitor technology.  相似文献

Ever‐increasing energy demands call for alternative energy storage technologies with balanced performance and cost characteristics to meet current and emerging applications. Dual‐ion batteries (DIBs) are considered particularly attractive owing to the potentially high specific energy, a rich variety of charge carrier combinations, and the applicability of metal‐free cathode and earth‐abundant anode materials. However, their performance falls far below expectations because of a large excess of solvent needed to dissolve electroactive species that induces side reactions and contributes parasitic weight, which penalizes the reversible capacity and cell‐level energy density. Herein, a solvent‐free DIB utilizing a binary alkali metal molten salt based on bis(fluorosulfonyl)amide as the electrolyte to solve these issues is demonstrated. The cell (NaK‐DIB) operates in a temperature range of 90–120 °C and exhibits high theoretical energy densities of 246 Wh kg?1 and 533 Wh L?1 based on active materials and capacity‐matched electrolyte, far surpassing those of reported DIBs. Further improvements could realize affordable grid‐scale energy storage.  相似文献

Binary metal oxides (such as NiCo2O4) are regarded as attractive electrode materials for advanced energy storage devices since they offer more electrochemical activity and higher capacity than monometal oxide. However, the volume expansion and low electronic conductivity are the main bottleneck seriously hindering their application. To overcome these barriers, a novel strategy that introduces a bimetallic oxynitride layer (NiCoON) with oxygen vacancy to the surface of NiCo2O4 nanowires as an anode for Li‐ion capacitors (LICs) is proposed. The oxygen vacancy on the surface and the modulation of multiple valence states are investigated by the electron paramagnetic resonance, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy characterization, and first‐principles calculation. Benefiting from the merits of substantially improved electrical conductivity and increased concentration of active sites, the optimized NiCoON electrode delivers remarkable capacity (1855 mAh g?1 at 0.2 A g?1) and rate performance. The LIC device assembled by NiCoON anodes and N‐doped carbon nanowire cathodes delivers excellent rate capability, high energy density (148.5 Wh kg?1), and outstanding power density (30 kW kg?1). This study provides a new pathway for developing bimetallic oxides with an improved performance in electrochemical energy storage, conversion fields, and beyond.  相似文献

Transition metal phosphides (TMPs) possess high theoretical sodium storage capacities, but suffer from poor rate performance, due to their intrinsic low conductivity and large volume expansion upon sodiation/desodiation. Compositing TMPs with carbon materials or downsizing their feature size are recognized as efficient approaches to address the above issues. Nevertheless the surface‐controlled capacitive behavior is generally dominated, which inevitably compromises the charge/discharge platform, and decreases the operational potential window in full‐cell constructions. In this work, a novel architecture (FeP@OCF) with FeP quantum dots confined in P‐doped 3D octahedral carbon framework/carbon nanotube is rationally designed. Such structure enables a simultaneous enhancement on the diffusion‐controlled capacity in the platform region (2.3 folds), and the surface‐controlled capacity in the slope region (2.9 folds) as compared to that of pure FeP. As a result, an excellent reversible capacity (674 mAh g?1@ 0.1 A g?1) and a record high‐rate performance (262 mAh g?1 @ 20 A g?1) are achieved. A full‐cell FeP@OCF// Na3V2(PO4)3 is also constructed showing an outstandingly high energy density of 185 Wh kg?1 (based on the total mass of active materials in both electrodes), which outperforms the state‐of‐the art TMP‐based sodium‐ion battery full cells.  相似文献

Renewable and environmentally friendly biomass‐based carbon electrode materials naturally possess fast ion transport, high adsorption, and excellent chemical stability for high‐performance energy‐storage devices. However, intelligently building the effectively biomass‐transferred carbon materials for the requirement of high energy density is still a big challenge to date. Here, a hierarchically divacancy defect building platform is reported for effectively biomass‐transferred and highly interconnected 3D dual‐activated porous carbon fibers (DACFs) based on the internal?external dual‐activation function of the pre‐embedded KOH and CO2 molecular. This uniquely interconnected frameworks not only fully provide the abundant active sites for ion interaction, but also efficiently guarantee the substantial accommodation for ion storage. Based on this, the as‐prepared DACFs‐based supercapacitors deliver a high energy density of 61.3 Wh kg?1 at a power density of 875 W kg?1 in the EMIMBF4 ionic liquid. This work not only provides a simple and efficient technique to enhance the energy density of carbon materials, but also probably promotes its additional application in environmental remediation.  相似文献

The rational design of advanced structures consisting of multiple components with excellent electrochemical capacitive properties is one of the crucial hindrances to be overcome for high‐performance supercapacitors (SCs). Herein, a superfast and facile synthesis of flower‐like NiMn‐layered double hydroxides (NiMn‐LDH) with high SC performance using an electrodeposition process on nickel foam is proposed. Oxygen vacancies are then modulated via mild H2O2 treatment for the first time, significantly promoting the electrochemical energy storage performance. The oxygen‐vacancy abundant NiMn‐LDH (Ov‐LDH) reaches a maximum specific capacity of 1183 C g?1 at the current density of 1 A g?1 and retains a high capacity retention of 835 C g?1 even at a current density of up to 10 A g?1. Furthermore, the assembled asymmetric SC device achieves a high specific energy density of 46.7 Wh kg?1 at a power density of 1.7 kW kg?1. Oxygen vacancies are proven to play a vital role in the improvement of electrochemistry performance of LDH based on experimental and theoretical studies. This vacancy engineering strategy provides a new insight into SC active materials and should be beneficial for the design of the next generation of energy storage devices.  相似文献
