Highly stretchable, high‐mobility, and free‐standing coplanar‐type all‐organic transistors based on deformable solid‐state elastomer electrolytes are demonstrated using ionic thermoplastic polyurethane (i‐TPU), thereby showing high reliability under mechanical stimuli as well as low‐voltage operation. Unlike conventional ionic dielectrics, the i‐TPU electrolyte prepared herein has remarkable characteristics, i.e., a large specific capacitance of 5.5 µF cm?2, despite the low weight ratio (20 wt%) of the ionic liquid, high transparency, and even stretchability. These i‐TPU‐based organic transistors exhibit a mobility as high as 7.9 cm2 V?1 s?1, high bendability (Rc, radius of curvature: 7.2 mm), and good stretchability (60% tensile strain). Moreover, they are suitable for low‐voltage operation (VDS = ?1.0 V, VGS = ?2.5 V). In addition, the electrical characteristics such as mobility, on‐current, and threshold voltage are maintained even in the concave and convex bending state (bending tensile strain of ≈3.4%), respectively. Finally, free‐standing, fully stretchable, and semi‐transparent coplanar‐type all‐organic transistors can be fabricated by introducing a poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):polystyrene sulfonic acid layer as source/drain and gate electrodes, thus achieving low‐voltage operation (VDS = ?1.5 V, VGS = ?2.5 V) and an even higher mobility of up to 17.8 cm2 V?1 s?1. Moreover, these devices withstand stretching up to 80% tensile strain.  相似文献

A facile one‐step printing process by 3D micro‐extrusion affording binder‐free thermally reduced graphene oxide (TRGO) based electrochemical capacitors (ECs) that display high‐rate performance is presented. Key intermediates are binder‐free TRGO dispersion printing inks with concentrations up to 15 g L?1. This versatile printing technique enables easy fabrication of EC electrodes, useful in both aqueous and non‐aqueous electrolyte systems. The as‐prepared TRGO material with high specific surface area (SSA) of 593 m2 g?1 and good electrical conductivity of ≈16 S cm?1 exhibits impressive charge storage performances. At 100 and 120 Hz, ECs fabricated with TRGO show time constants of 2.5 ms and 2.3 ms respectively. Very high capacitance values are derived at both frequencies ranging from 3.55 mF cm?2 to 1.76 mF cm?2. Additionally, these TRGO electrodes can be charged and discharged at very high voltage scan rates up to 15 V s?1 yielding 4 F cm?3 with 50% capacitance retention. Electrochemical performance of TRGO electrodes in electrolyte containing tetraethyl ammonium tetrafluoroborate and acetonitrile (TEABF4‐ACN) yields high energy density of 4.43 mWh cm?3 and power density up to 42.74 kW cm?3, which is very promising for AC line filtering application and could potentially substitute state of the art electrolytic capacitor technology.  相似文献

MXenes (Ti3C2) are 2D transition‐metal carbides and carbonitrides with high conductivity and optical transparency. However, transparent MXene electrodes suitable for polymer light‐emitting diodes (PLEDs) have rarely been demonstrated. With the discovery of the excellent electrical stability of MXene under an alternating current (AC), herein, PLEDs that employ MXene electrodes and exhibit high performance under AC operation (AC MXene PLEDs) are presented. The PLED exhibits a turn‐on voltage, current efficiency, and brightness of 2.1 V, 7 cd A?1, and 12 547 cd m?2, respectively, when operated under AC with a frequency of 1 kHz. The results indicate that the undesirable electric breakdown associated with heat arising from the poor interface of the MXene with a hole transport layer in the direct‐current mode is efficiently suppressed by the transient injection of carriers accompanied by the alternating change of the electric polarity under the AC, giving rise to reliable light emission with a high efficiency. The solution‐processable MXene electrode can be readily fabricated on a flexible polymer substrate, allowing for the development of a mechanically flexible AC MXene PLED with a higher performance than flexible PLEDs employing solution‐processed nanomaterial‐based electrodes such as carbon nanotubes, reduced graphene oxide, and Ag nanowires.  相似文献

The effect of solution‐processed p‐type doping of hole‐generation layers (HGLs) and electron‐transporting layer (ETLs) are systematically investigated on the performance of solution‐processable alternating current (AC) field‐induced polymer EL (FIPEL) devices in terms of hole‐generation capability of HGLs and electron‐transporting characteristics of ETLs. A variety of p‐type doping conjugated polymers and a series of solution‐processed electron‐transporting small molecules are employed. It is found that the free hole density in p‐type doping HGLs and electron mobility of solution‐processed ETLs are directly related to the device performance, and that the hole‐transporting characteristics of ETLs also play an important role since holes need to be injected from electrode through ETLs to refill the depleted HGLs in the positive half of the AC cycle. As a result, the best FIPEL device exhibits exceptional performance: a low turn‐on voltage of 12 V, a maximum luminance of 20 500 cd m?2, a maximum current and power efficiency of 110.7 cd A?1 and 29.3 lm W?1. To the best of the authors' knowledge, this is the highest report to date among FIPEL devices driven by AC voltage.  相似文献

Sodium‐based dual‐ion batteries (SDIBs) have attracted much attention for their advantages of high operating voltage, environmental friendliness, and especially low cost. However, the electrochemical performances of the reported SDIBs are still unsatisfied due to the decomposition problem of traditional liquid electrolyte under high working voltage. Development of quasi‐solid‐state electrolytes (QSSEs) with excellent electrochemical stability at high voltage is a possible means to improve their properties. In this work, a flexible SDIB based on a QSSE, consisting of poly(vinylidene ?uoride‐co‐hexa?uoropropylene) (PVDF‐HFP) three‐dimensionally cross‐linked with Al2O3 nanoparticles, which exhibits a porous 3D structure with dramatically enhanced ionic conductivity up to ≈1.3 × 10?3 S cm?1, facilitating fast ionic migration of both anions and cations, is reported. This quasi‐state SDIB exhibits a high specific capacity of 96.8 mAh g?1 at a current rate of 5 C and excellent cycling stability with a capacity retention of 97.5% after 600 cycles at 5 C, which is the best performance of the SDIBs. Moreover, excellent flexibility and a wide working temperature range (?20 to 70 °C) have been realized for this battery, suggesting its potential for high‐performance flexible energy storage applications.  相似文献

Here, a simple, nontoxic, and inexpensive “water‐inducement” technique for the fabrication of oxide thin films at low annealing temperatures is reported. For water‐induced (WI) precursor solution, the solvent is composed of water without additional organic additives and catalysts. The thermogravimetric analysis indicates that the annealing temperature can be lowered by prolonging the annealing time. A systematic study is carried out to reveal the annealing condition dependence on the performance of the thin‐film transistors (TFTs). The WI indium‐zinc oxide (IZO) TFT integrated on SiO2 dielectric, annealed at 300 °C for 2 h, exhibits a saturation mobility of 3.35 cm2 V?1 s?1 and an on‐to‐off current ratio of ≈108. Interestingly, through prolonging the annealing time to 4 h, the electrical parameters of IZO TFTs annealed at 230 °C are comparable with the TFTs annealed at 300 °C. Finally, fully WI IZO TFT based on YOx dielectric is integrated and investigated. This TFT device can be regarded as “green electronics” in a true sense, because no organic‐related additives are used during the whole device fabrication process. The as‐fabricated IZO/YOx TFT exhibits excellent electron transport characteristics with low operating voltage (≈1.5 V), small subthreshold swing voltage of 65 mV dec?1 and the mobility in excess of 25 cm2 V?1 s?1.  相似文献

Rapid growth of electronic textile increases the demand for textile‐based power sources, which should have comparable lightweight, flexibility, and comfort. In this work, a self‐charging power textile interwoven by all‐yarn‐based energy‐harvesting triboelectric nanogenerators (TENG) and energy‐storing yarn‐type asymmetric supercapacitors (Y‐ASC) is reported. Common polyester yarns with conformal Ni/Cu coating are utilized as 1D current collectors in Y‐ASCs and electrodes in TENGs. The solid‐state Y‐ASC achieves high areal energy density (≈78.1 µWh cm?2), high power density (14 mW cm?2), stable cycling performance (82.7% for 5000 cycles), and excellent flexibility (1000 cycles bending for 180°). The TENG yarn can be woven into common fabrics with desired stylish designs to harvest energy from human daily motions at high output (≈60 V open‐circuit voltage and ≈3 µA short‐circuit current). The integrated self‐charging power textile is demonstrated to power an electronic watch without extra recharging by other power sources, suggesting its promising applications in electronic textiles and wearable electronics.  相似文献

A new concept for reusable eco‐friendly hydrogel electrolytes based on cellulose is introduced. The reported electrolytes are designed and engineered through a simple, fast, low‐cost, and eco‐friendly dissolution method of microcrystalline cellulose at low temperature using an aqueous LiOH/urea solvent system. The cellulose solution is combined with carboxymethyl cellulose, followed by the regeneration and simultaneous ion incorporation. The produced free standing cellulose‐based electrolyte films exhibit interesting properties for application in flexible electrochemical devices, such as biosensors or electrolyte‐gated transistors (EGTs), because of their high specific capacitances (4–5 µF cm?2), transparency, and flexibility. Indium–gallium–zinc‐oxide EGTs on glass with laminated cellulose‐based hydrogel electrolytes (CHEs) as the gate dielectric are produced presenting a low working voltage (<2 V), showing an on–off current ratio (I on/off) of 106, a subthreshold swing lower than 0.2 V dec?1, and saturation mobility (μSat) reaching 26 cm2 V?1 s?1. The flexible CHE‐gated transistors on paper are also demonstrated, which operate at switching frequencies up to 100 Hz. Combining the flexibility of the EGTs on paper with the reusability of the developed CHEs is a breakthrough toward biodegradable advanced functional materials allied with disposable/recyclable and low‐cost electronic devices.  相似文献

Four soluble dialkylated tetrathienoacene ( TTAR) ‐based small molecular semiconductors featuring the combination of a TTAR central core, π‐conjugated spacers comprising bithiophene ( bT ) or thiophene ( T ), and with/without cyanoacrylate ( CA ) end‐capping moieties are synthesized and characterized. The molecule DbT‐TTAR exhibits a promising hole mobility up to 0.36 cm2 V?1 s?1 due to the enhanced crystallinity of the microribbon‐like films. Binary blends of the p‐type DbT‐TTAR and the n‐type dicyanomethylene substituted dithienothiophene‐quinoid ( DTTQ‐11 ) are investigated in terms of film morphology, microstructure, and organic field‐effect transistor (OFET) performance. The data indicate that as the DbT‐TTAR content in the blend film increases, the charge transport characteristics vary from unipolar (electron‐only) to ambipolar and then back to unipolar (hole‐only). With a 1:1 weight ratio of DbT‐TTAR DTTQ‐11 in the blend, well‐defined pathways for both charge carriers are achieved and resulted in ambipolar transport with high hole and electron mobilities of 0.83 and 0.37 cm2 V?1 s?1, respectively. This study provides a viable way for tuning microstructure and charge carrier transport in small molecules and their blends to achieve high‐performance solution‐processable OFETs.  相似文献

A new class of biofriendly ionogels produced by gelation of microcellulose thin films with tailored 1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium methylphosphonate ionic liquids are demonstrated. The cellulose ionogels show promising properties for application in flexible electronics, such as transparency, flexibility, transferability, and high specific capacitances of 5 to 15 μF cm?2. They can be laminated onto any substrate such as multilayer‐coated paper and act as high capacitance dielectrics for inorganic (spray‐coated ZnO and colloidal ZnO nanorods) and organic (poly[3‐hexylthiophene], P3HT) electrolyte‐gated field‐effect transistors (FETs), that operate at very low voltages (<2 V). Field‐effect mobilities in ionogel‐gated spray‐coated ZnO FETs reach 75 cm2 V?1 s?1 and a typical increase of mobility with decreasing specific capacitance of the ionogel is observed. Solution‐processed, colloidal ZnO nanorods and laminated cellulose ionogels enable the fabrication of the first electrolyte‐gated, flexible circuits on paper, which operate at bending radii down to 1.1 mm.  相似文献

Flexible energy storage devices play a pivotal role in realizing the full potential of flexible electronics. This work presents high‐performance, all‐solid‐state, flexible supercapacitors by employing an innovative multilevel porous graphite foam (MPG). MPGs exhibit superior properties, such as large specific surface area, high electric conductivity, low mass density, high loading efficiency of pseudocapacitive materials, and controlled corrugations for accommodating mechanical strains. When loaded with pseudocapacitive manganese oxide (Mn3O4), the MPG/Mn3O4 (MPGM) composites achieve a specific capacitance of 538 F g?1 (1 mV s?1) and 260 F g?1 (1 mV s?1) based on the mass of pure Mn3O4 and entire electrode composite, respectively. Both are among the best of Mn3O4‐based supercapacitors. The MPGM is mechanically robust and can go through 1000 mechanical bending cycles with only 1.5% change in electric resistance. When integrated as all‐solid‐state symmetric supercapacitors, they offer a full cell specific capacitance as high as 53 F g?1 based on the entire electrode and retain 80% of capacitance after 1000 continuous mechanical bending cycles. Furthermore, the all‐solid‐state flexible supercapacitors are incorporated with strain sensors into self‐powered flexible devices for detection of both coarse and fine motions on human skins, i.e., those from finger bending and heart beating.  相似文献

Alkyl chains are basic units in the design of organic semiconductors for purposes of enhancing solubility, tuning electronic energy levels, and tailoring molecular packing. This work demonstrates that the carrier mobilities of indeno[1,2‐b ]fluorene‐6,12‐dione ( IFD )‐based semiconductors can be dramatically enhanced by the incorporation of sulfur‐ or nitrogen‐linked side chains. Three IFD derivatives possessing butyl, butylthio, and dibutylamino substituents are synthesized, and their organic field‐effect transistors (OFET) are fabricated and characterized. The IFD possessing butyl substituents exhibits a very poor charge transport property with mobility lower than 10?7 cm2 V?1 s?1. In contrast, the hole mobility is dramatically increased to 1.03 cm2 V?1 s?1 by replacing the butyl units with dibutylamino groups ( DBA‐IFD ), while the butylthio‐modified IFD ( BT‐IFD ) derivative exhibits a high and balanced ambipolar charge transport property with the maximum hole and electron mobilities up to 0.71 and 0.65 cm2 V?1 s?1, respectively. Moreover, the complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor‐like inverters incorporated with the ambipolar OFETs shows sharp inversions with a maximum gain value up to 173. This work reveals that modification of the aromatic core with heteroatom‐linked side chains, such as alkylthio or dialkylamino, can be an efficient strategy for the design of high‐performance organic semiconductors.  相似文献

Oligoarenes as an alternative group of promising semiconductors in organic optoelectronics have attracted much attention. However, high‐performance and low‐cost opto‐electrical devices based on linear asymmetric oligoarenes with nano/microstructures are still rarely studied because of difficulties both in synthesis and high‐quality nano/microstructure growth. Here, a novel linear asymmetric oligoarene 6‐methyl‐anthra[2,3‐b]benzo[d]thiophene (Me‐ABT) is synthesized and its high‐quality microribbons are grown by a solution process. The solution of Me‐ABT exhibits a moderate fluorescence quantum yield of 0.34, while the microribbons show a glaucous light emission. Phototransistors based on an individual Me‐ABT microribbon prepared by a solution‐phase self‐assembly process showed a high mobility of 1.66 cm2 V?1 s?1, a large photoresponsivity of 12 000 A W?1, and a photocurrent/dark‐current ratio of 6000 even under low light power conditions (30 µW cm?2). The measured photoresponsivity of the devices is much higher than that of inorganic single‐crystal silicon thin film transistors. These studies should boost the development of the organic semiconductors with high‐quality microstructures for potential application in organic optoelectronics.  相似文献

Photothermal bimorph actuators are widely used for smart devices, which are generally operated in a room temperature environment, therefore a low temperature difference for actuation without deteriorating the performance is preferred. The strategy for the actuator is assembling a broadband‐light absorption layer for volume expansion and an additional water evaporation layer for cooling and volume shrinkage on a passive layer. The response time and temperature‐change‐normalized bending speed under NIR, white, and blue light illumination are at the same level of high performance, fast photothermal actuators based on polymer or polymer composites. The classical beam theory and finite element simulations are also conducted to understand the actuation mechanism of the actuator. A new type of light mill is designed based on a wing‐flapping mechanism and a light‐modulated frequency switch. A fast‐walking robot (with a speed of 26 mm s?1) and a fast‐and‐strong mechanical gripper with a large weight‐lifting ratio (≈2142), respectively, are also demonstrated.  相似文献

Transition metal oxides, possessing high theoretical specific capacities, are promising anode materials for sodium‐ion batteries. However, the sluggish sodiation/desodiation kinetics and poor structural stability restrict their electrochemical performance. To achieve high and fast Na storage capability, in this work, rambutan‐like hybrid hollow spheres of carbon confined Co3O4 nanoparticles are synthesized by a facile one‐pot hydrothermal treatment with postannealing. The hierarchy hollow structure with ultrafine Co3O4 nanoparticles embedded in the continuous carbon matrix enables greatly enhanced structural stability and fast electrode kinetics. When tested in sodium‐ion batteries, the hollow structured composite electrode exhibits an outstandingly high reversible specific capacity of 712 mAh g?1 at a current density of 0.1 A g?1, and retains a capacity of 223 mAh g?1 even at a large current density of 5 A g?1. Besides the superior Na storage capability, good cycle performance is demonstrated for the composite electrode with 74.5% capacity retention after 500 cycles, suggesting promising application in advanced sodium‐ion batteries.  相似文献

Wire‐shaped electrodes for solid‐state cable‐type supercapacitors (SSCTS) with high device capacitance and ultrahigh rate capability are prepared by depositing poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) onto self‐doped TiO2 nanotubes (D‐TiO2) aligned on Ti wire via a well‐controlled electrochemical process. The large surface area, short ion diffusion path, and high electrical conductivity of these rationally engineered electrodes all contribute to the energy storage performance of SSCTS. The cyclic voltammetric studies show the good energy storage ability of the SSCTS even at an ultrahigh scan rate of 1000 V s?1, which reveals the excellent instantaneous power characteristics of the device. The capacitance of 1.1 V SSCTS obtained from the charge–discharge measurements is 208.36 µF cm?1 at a discharge current of 100 µA cm?1 and 152.36 µF cm?1 at a discharge current of 2000 µA cm?1, respectively, indicating the ultrahigh rate capability. Furthermore, the SSCTS shows superior cyclic stability during long‐term (20 000 cycles) cycling, and also maintains excellent performance when it is subjected to bending and succeeding straightening process.  相似文献

To achieve large bending displacement and fast response time under ultralow input voltages, as well as improved durability, advanced high‐performance ionic actuators still face crucial design challenges that must be resolved. Here, hierarchically porous and unzipped graphitic nanoribbons anchored on graphene as an efficient electrode material for high‐performance electroionic artificial muscles are reported. Using controlled solvothermal and pyrolysis methods, nanoarchitectured carbon is derived from a self‐templated potassium‐based metal–organic frameworks–graphene hybrid. The newly designed ionic actuator demonstrates excellent actuation performance, including large bending displacement (17.4 mm) and a strain difference of 0.51% at 0.5 V AC input, very fast response time (700 ms) at 0.5 V DC input, wide frequency response (0.1–15 Hz), and excellent cycling stability (92%) after 25 000 cycles without any delamination of electrodes under continuous electrical operation. The breakthrough in actuation performance mainly stems from the unzipping of hollow nanorods to hierarchical porous graphitic nanoribbons anchored on graphene with the enlarged surface area, large pore volume, stronger mechanical integrity, and emerging charge storage and transport ability. Further, the electroionic actuator shows promise when applied in the demonstration of a biomimicking Venus flytrap.  相似文献

Flexible fiber‐based supercapacitor (FSC) with excellent electrochemical performance and high tensile strength and modulus is strongly desired for some special circumstances, such as load‐bearing, abrasion resistant, and anticutting fabrics. Here, a series of ultrahigh‐strength fiber electrodes are prepared for flexible FSCs based on ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fibers, on which the polydopamine, Ag, and poly (3,4‐ethylene dioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonate) are deposited in sequence. The modified fiber‐based electrode exhibits superhigh strength up to 3.72 GPa, which is the highest among fiber‐based electrodes reported to date. In addition, FSCs fabricated with the optimized fiber electrode shows a specific areal capacity as high as 563 mF cm?2 at 0.17 mA cm?2, which corresponds to a high areal energy density of ≈50.1 µWh cm?2 at a power density of ≈124 µW cm?2. The specific areal capacity only decrease 8% after 1000 times bending test, indicating the outstanding bending performance of this composite fiber electrode. Furthermore, several FSCs can be connected in series or in parallel to get higher working voltage or higher capacity respectively, which demonstrates its potential for broad applications in flexible devices.  相似文献

The aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) phenomenon is important in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs), for it can potentially solve the aggregation‐caused quenching problem. However, the performance of AIE fluorophor‐based OLEDs (AIE OLEDs) is unsatisfactory, particularly for deep‐blue devices (CIEy < 0.15). Here, by enhancing the device engineering, a deep‐blue AIE OLED exhibits low voltage (i.e., 2.75 V at 1 cd m?2), high luminance (17 721 cd m?2), high efficiency (4.3 lm W?1), and low efficiency roll‐off (3.6 lm W?1 at 1000 cd m?2), which is the best deep‐blue AIE OLED. Then, blue AIE fluorophors, for the first time, have been demonstrated to achieve high‐performance hybrid white OLEDs (WOLEDs). The two‐color WOLEDs exhibit i) stable colors and the highest efficiency among pure‐white hybrid WOLEDs (32.0 lm W?1); ii) stable colors, high efficiency, and very low efficiency roll‐off; or iii) unprecedented efficiencies at high luminances (i.e., 70.2 cd A?1, 43.4 lm W?1 at 10 000 cd m?2). Moreover, a three‐color WOLED exhibits wide correlated color temperatures (10 690–2328 K), which is the first hybrid WOLED showing sunlight‐style emission. These findings will open a novel concept that blue AIE fluorophors are promising candidates to develop high‐performance hybrid WOLEDs, which have a bright prospect for the future displays and lightings.  相似文献

Printable and flexible electronics attract sustained attention for their low cost, easy scale up, and potential application in wearable and implantable sensors. However, they are susceptible to scratching, rupture, or other damage from bending or stretching due to their “soft” nature compared to their rigid counterparts (Si‐based electronics), leading to loss of functionality. Self‐healing capability is highly desirable for these “soft” electronic devices. Here, a versatile self‐healing polymer blend dielectric is developed with no added salts and it is integrated into organic field transistors (OFETs) as a gate insulator material. This polymer blend exhibits an unusually high thin film capacitance (1400 nF cm?2 at 120 nm thickness and 20–100 Hz). Furthermore, it shows pronounced electrical and mechanical self‐healing behavior, can serve as the gate dielectric for organic semiconductors, and can even induce healing of the conductivity of a layer coated above it together with the process of healing itself. Based on these attractive properties, we developed a self‐healable, low‐voltage operable, printed, and flexible OFET for the first time, showing promise for vapor sensing as well as conventional OFET applications.  相似文献
