An optical three-dimensional (3D) display system interfaced with digital data transmission is proposed. In this system, an original 3D object is encrypted by use of a random phase mask and then the encrypted pattern is recorded as a digital hologram. The digital hologram key is also recorded for optical decryption. Both the encrypted digital hologram and the digital hologram key are transmitted to a receiver through a conventional communication data channel. At the receiver, the 3D scene is reconstructed and displayed optically in a retrieval system based on a joint-transform correlation. Experimental results are presented. We investigate the influence of quantization of the joint power spectrum in the optical correlator on the quality of the reconstructed image.  相似文献

We propose an "accurate" phase-added stereogram, which can be defined as an improved phase-added stereogram. Generally, the macroblock size transformed by the fast Fourier transform is the same as the segmentation size of the phase-added stereogram. However, the proposed method uses a lager macroblock size than does the conventional method to reduce quantization error in discrete spatial frequencies in the spatial frequency domain. Therefore, even when the fast Fourier transform is used for calculation, the quality of the reconstructed image can be improved to be as clear as the Fresnel hologram.  相似文献

Quantization formats of four digital holographic codes (Lohmann, Lee, Burckhardt and Hsueh-Sawchuk) are evaluated. A quantitative assessment is made from errors in both the Fourier transform and image domains. In general, small errors in the Fourier amplitude or phase alone do not guarantee high image fidelity. From quantization considerations, the Lee hologram is shown to be the best choice for randomly phase coded objects. When phase coding is not feasible, the Lohmann hologram is preferable as it is easier to plot.  相似文献

Robustness against geometric attacks is one of the most important issues in digital watermarking. A novel geometric robust watermarking scheme that uses computer-generated holograms as the watermark is presented. To maintain imperceptibility and robustness, a quantization embedding algorithm is adopted to embed the mark hologram into the low-frequency subband of the wavelet-transformed host image. In the detection process, the geometric distorted watermarked images are recovered first by the proposed improved geometric correction method, which is based on the scale invariant feature transform, the invariant centroid, and the pulse coupled neural network. Then the mark holograms are extracted from the recovered images. In comparison with the traditional geometric estimation method, the suggested improved geometric correction method can estimate the geometric distortion parameters more accurately and needs less auxiliary information. Compared with other watermark schemes using digital holograms, the proposed method has the distinct advantage of robustness to geometric attacks. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method has good robustness to resist geometric attacks and common attacks including rotation, scaling, translation, image flipping, combined attacks, filtering, occlusion, cropping, and JPEG compression.  相似文献

Digital holography techniques can be utilized to implement image watermarking schemes. In a previous method proposed by Takai and Mifune [Appl. Opt. 41,865 (2002)], a watermark image is transformed into a digital Fourier hologram, which then is directly superposed onto a content image to perform the embedding process. In the detection stage, the watermark is extracted based on the inverse Fourier transform and optical holography techniques. A method in which the hologram is superposed on the discrete-cosine-transform domain of the content image is proposed to significantly improve Takai and Mifune's method. The proposed method can greatly reduce the degradation on the superposed image, which is the major drawback in Takai and Mifune's method. Simulation results also demonstrate that the watermark can be successfully extracted under different kinds of attack.  相似文献

We discuss quantization effects of hologram recording on the quality of reconstructed images in phase-shifting digital holography. We vary bit depths of phase-shifted holograms in both numerical simulation and experiments and then derived the complex amplitude, which is subjected to Fresnel transformation for the image reconstruction. The influence of bit-depth limitation in quantization has been demonstrated in a numerical simulation for spot-array patterns with linearly varying intensities and a continuous intensity object. The objects are provided with uniform and random phase modulation. In experiments, digital holograms are originally recorded at 8 bits and the bit depths are changed to deliver holograms at bit depths of 1 to 8 bits for the image reconstruction. The quality of the reconstructed images has been evaluated for the different quantization levels.  相似文献

Digital holography is an imaging technique that enables recovery of topographic 3D information about an object under investigation. In digital holography, an interference pattern is recorded on a digital camera. Therefore, quantization of the recorded hologram is an integral part of the imaging process. We study the influence of quantization error in the recorded holograms on the fidelity of both the intensity and phase of the reconstructed image. We limit our analysis to the case of lensless Fourier off-axis digital holograms. We derive a theoretical model to predict the effect of quantization noise and we validate this model using experimental results. Based on this, we also show how the resultant noise in the reconstructed image, as well as the speckle that is inherent in digital holography, can be conveniently suppressed by standard speckle reduction techniques. We show that high-quality images can be obtained from binary holograms when speckle reduction is performed.  相似文献

We propose a method for compressing a digital color Fresnel hologram based on vector quantization (VQ). The complex color hologram is first separated into three complex holograms, each representing one of the primary colors. Subsequently, each hologram is converted into what we call a real Fresnel hologram and compressed with VQ based on a universal codebook. Experimental evaluation reveals that our scheme is capable of attaining a compression ratio of over 1600 times and still preserving acceptable visual quality on the reconstructed images. Moreover, the decoding process is free from computation and highly resistant to noise contamination on the compressed data.  相似文献

A multichannel holographic recording method is presented for three-dimensional (3D) displays, utilizing pixel-based recording instead of image-based recording in order to realize parallel processing. The proposed approach is composed of two main stages. In the first stage, each two-dimensional (2D) image acquired from multiple viewpoints is partitioned by holographic recording channels (HRC) into nonoverlapping subimages. In the second stage, the corresponding pixels of the subimages are rearranged to constitute an encoding image. The encoding images are recorded simultaneously by each HRC, respectively, so the recording speed is improved significantly. The experimental results have demonstrated that the three-channel system is feasible and the full-parallax hologram reconstructed with white light is acceptable in quality. The three-channel system saves approximately 60% of the recording time in comparison with the single-channel system. More importantly, the proposed method can accomplish a large-scale final hologram composed of multichannel holograms without sacrificing the hologram quality. Several 3D imaging applications such as medical diagnosis and advertisements could benefit from this research.  相似文献

Digital holography, which consists of both acquiring the hologram image in a digital camera and numerically reconstructing the information, offers new and faster ways to make the most of a hologram. We describe a new method to determine the rough size of particles in an in-line hologram. This method relies on a property that is specific to interference patterns in Fresnel holograms: Self-correlation of a hologram provides access to size information. The proposed method is both simple and fast and gives results with acceptable precision. It suppresses all the problems related to the numerical depth of focus when large depth volumes are analyzed.  相似文献

We propose a numerical method to obtain complex amplitude distribution of a three-dimensional (3D) object from a digital hologram. The method consists of two processes. The first process is to measure simultaneously a hologram of the 3D object and an object intensity distribution by two image sensors. These intensity distributions give us the amplitude and absolute value of phase of the 3D object at the image sensor plane. The second process is the determination of phase distribution by a proposed iterative process based on the criterion that the reconstructed 3D object is in focus and its conjugate reconstruction is out of focus. Numerical and experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

A holographic technique is applied for digital watermarking by a computer. A digital-watermark image to be hidden is phase modulated in a random fashion, and its Fourier-transformed hologram is superposed on a content image. The watermark is reconstructed by means of a holographic-reconstruction technique from the bit-map image that hides it. In the study the processes of constructing and reconstructing a digital hologram are described on the basis of the theory of Fourier optics. The conditions for superposing the hologram onto the content images are investigated in detail. The validity of the present method is verified by changing the weighting of the hologram relative to that of the content image. The effect of image size is also discussed with respect to reconstruction of the watermark, and it is shown that watermark information in a form of a diffuse-type Fourier-transform hologram cannot be removed by cutting it out of the host image.  相似文献

目的提出了一种基于图像校正的抗几何变换全息水印算法。方法在水印嵌入时,将原始二值水印图像,利用共轭对称延拓傅里叶计算全息方法生成全息水印,并嵌入在原始图像小波变换的对角线高频系数中,逆变换得到含水印图像。在含水印图像的DFT域中嵌入模版信息,在水印提取时,首先利用模版信息对图像进行校正,然后提取水印信息。结果该算法保留了全息水印的优良特性,结合了模版匹配校正技术,可以有效抵抗滤波、噪声、裁切、JPEG压缩、旋转、等比例缩放及其组合攻击。结论该算法在实际应用中能有效抵抗几何攻击,可以应用于数字图像的版权保护中。  相似文献

A method to improve the image quality of a digital holographic reconstructed image by means of speckle reduction is proposed. The size and position of the speckles are changed according to the wavelengths to record a digital hologram. By superposing reconstructed images with different wavelengths, the effect of speckle is reduced so that the image quality is improved. Resolution of the reconstructed image is evaluated for the reflection hologram recorded by use of a slit. Sharp and deep images are obtained because the resolution in the vertical direction is higher than that of the conventional reflection holograms and is independent of the size of the illuminating light source. In contrast, the resolution in the horizontal direction depends on the light-source size in this direction. The optimum source size is discussed in connection with the balance in the resolutions for both directions. A method for obtaining the vertical parallax by use of multiple slits is proposed, and application of the proposed hologram to the heads-up display is also demonstrated.  相似文献

目的提出改进的基于快速响应矩阵码(QR码)的数字全息水印。方法利用加密傅里叶全息技术对QR码进行加密并生成全息图,在标准颜色空间下,抽取彩色载体图像的L分量进行二级小波分解,将全息图嵌入到其分解后的低频系数中,以实现水印信息的隐藏。为提高QR码译码成功率,对提取后的水印进行十字型中值滤波处理。结论 QR码水印能够保存完整的水印信息,比普通图像水印鲁棒性强,且相比于其他基于QR码的数字全息水印算法具有更强的鲁棒性。  相似文献

An approximate method for generating computer-generated holograms (CGH) of a 3D object with six times faster speed than the conventional algorithm is presented. In the conventional algorithm, a 3D object is sliced into many layers and treated as a collection of self-illuminated point light source. The propagation process of a light ray from every point of an object to all the points on the hologram plane is simulated and interfered with by the reference beam to form a CGH. In our proposed method, under the assumption that the depth of a 3D object is much smaller than the recording distance, we just need to calculate the oblique distance between the first layer and the hologram plane, and then the oblique distances from the other layers to the hologram plane can be obtained from a simple relation, thus the computational time is much reduced. The CGH is optically reconstructed and the quality of the reconstructed image agrees well with that from the conventional algorithm.  相似文献

为了研究3层物体的压缩全息分层再现效果,进行了层析再现多层样本的实验,并且将压缩全息再现与传统反衍射重建方法进行了对比分析。采用了频域减采样的方法来实现全息图的稀疏化,将数据压缩到原始全息图的25%。通过仿真实验,发现采用压缩全息再现的物像和模拟样本的相关系数达到0.64。基于4f光学系统建立了实验系统,实现了3层物体的压缩全息再现,可以使所重建的物像更加清晰以及有效去除背景噪声信号。  相似文献

提出了量化 MCLT 变换系数的音频数字水印盲检新算法。嵌入的水印为视觉可辨的二值标志图像,对水印降维处理后,利用密钥通过 PN 序列发生器产生的伪随机序列调制水印信息,然后通过量化 MCLT 系数的方法将其嵌入音频中。通过大量实验,得到了决定水印鲁棒性和不可感知性的量化参数选择上限。实验结果表明,该算法对所嵌水印的音频质量未见降低,对信号处理和随机裁剪型的攻击具有很高的鲁棒性。  相似文献

The presence of zero-order diffraction and a conjugate image in digital holography essentially diminishes the quality of the reconstructed image. In this paper, a novel method that adopts numerical operation to eliminate the zero-order diffraction and conjugate image is presented. The whole process needs only one hologram and a complex finite impulse response (FIR) digital filter. The method of numerical elimination is simple; it filters the hologram directly in the spatial domain instead of in the frequency domain. The design of a complex finite impulse response filter is described in detail. The experimental results demonstrate that the operation can completely eliminate the zero-order diffraction and conjugate image and significantly enhance the quality of the reconstructed image.  相似文献
