A dual band inset fed rectangular patch antenna array has been proposed for intelligent transportation system (ITS) application. This paper proposes 8–element patch array antenna with defected ground structure (DGS). The simulated results of 2, 4 and 8 element patch with and without DGS are also compared. Proposed antenna gets dual band of 5.02 GHz and 5.92 GHz centre frequency with DGS. The 8–element patch array antenna with DGS is fabricated and its result is compared with simulation result. 26.5 dBi and 24.9 dBi is measured gain of the proposed antenna structure for 5.02 GHz and 5.92 GHz centre frequency respectively.  相似文献

A compact bandpass filter with dumbbell shape Defected Ground Structure (DGS) operating on ultra wide pass band (UWB – 3.1 to 10.6 GHz) is proposed. It is based on hybrid microstrip coplanar waveguide (dual sided metal) structure. A Multiple Resonant Structure (MRS) is constructed using coplanar waveguide (CPW) planar transmission line. The MRS makes the resonance using quarter wavelength and half wavelength open-ended CPW. The equispaced three resonances at lower (3.1 GHz), center (6.85 GHz) and higher edge (10.6 GHz) of the whole Ultra Wide Band is achieved using CPW MRS. To make the band as flat as possible, two more resonances are introduced using quarter wavelength microstrip patches on top of the commonly shared substrate, so the proposed filter becomes a five pole bandpass filter. A dumbbell shaped defected ground structure on either side of CPW MRS improves the return loss almost less than 20 dB over the whole UWB passband. The simulated results of proposed filter show good transmission response within passband and good rejection in out of the band. The simulated and measured results are very close to each other which proves the efficacy of proposed design.  相似文献

提出了一种具有陷波特性的UWB天线.该天线用开槽的金属片作为辐射单元,并通过对地板的开槽处理减小了天线的尺寸.结合HFSS仿真工具,对天线结构进行理论优化并通过大量仿真对天线尺寸进行调整;设计出一种基于FR4介质的尺寸为25*15*1mm3的天线模型,并设计模型进行加工测量.该天线的工作频带覆盖3.1~10.6 GHz,并避免了3.5-GHz WiMAX,和5.825-GHz WLAN频段,适于超宽带无线通信系统的应用.  相似文献

A straight forward design of rectangular slotted microstrip planar antenna fed by 50 ohm microstrip line is proposed for Ku/K band satellite applications. The radiating patch of the antenna occupies an area of 17 × 17 mm2 and fabricated on 1.0 mm‐thick ceramic filled bioplastic composite material substrate whose dielectric constant (εr ) is 10.0. The dual resonant square‐shaped antenna has been formed by inserting four arc shape slots at the corners with the combination of circle and square and wide square shape slot at the center. The results from the measured data show that the antenna has a lower resonant mode impedance bandwidth for S11 < −10 dB is of 18.4% (11.67–14.05 GHz) and upper resonant mode bandwidth is of 8.2% (18.19–19.75 GHz) centered at 12.94 GHz and 19.04 GHz, respectively. The antenna prototype has achieved maximum gains of 3.1 dBi and 4.13 dBi with average radiation efficiencies of 75.3% and 86.4% for the lower band and the upper band, respectively. The numerical data analyses of both the measured and simulated results show relatively good agreement. Moreover, the consistent and symmetrical radiation patters of the proposed antenna make it suitable candidate for the Ku/K band satellite applications. 针对多层集成电路中由于共地面开窗引起的寄模问题,通过对比“窗口遮挡”形式和多种背孔阵列抑制寄生模传播效果,发现“窗口遮挡”形式在有效抑制寄生模传播的同时会极大地增加电路损耗,存在最简背孔阵列可以达到抑制寄生模传播的效果。在不改变工艺结构的前提下,“双背孔”和“四背孔”形式可以分别满足200 GHz/300 GHz以下介质膜抑制需求,此时背孔所占面积最小,可以有效减小背孔排列密度,增加电路集成度。  相似文献

The proposed antenna is a small wideband monopole with wideband circular polarization using heterogeneous bidirectional recurrent neural network for both narrow and wide band applications (NWB-MAD-HBRNN). The electromagnetic structure is designed, fabricated, and simulated with 1 mm thickness on FR4 substrate material along dielectric constant 4.3. The proposed antenna includes 4.3–8.85 GHz for ultrawideband applications; it contains reconfigurable narrow band for L-band 1.27 GHz, LTE, and ultrawideband applications. To enhance the antenna impedance bandwidth (BW) along axial ratio bandwidth (ARBW), a slit is etched at the antenna patch, a rectangular stub is inserted into the ground plane, and semicircular stub is added to the top of antenna feed line. The better agreement is observed in the measured and simulated gain performance of 4.8 dB for LTE band applications. The proposed NWB-MAD-HBRNN design provides 13.50%, 18.91%, and 22.58% higher bandwidth and 18.36%, 20.38%, and 27.58% lower return loss than the existing designs, such as bio-inspired wideband antenna for wireless applications based on perturbation technique (BWA-WA-PA), a compact circularly polarized modified printed monopole antenna for wireless applications (CCP-MPMA-WA), and new multiband monopole antenna for certain broadband wireless applications along wireless personal communications (PA-MMA-BWA), respectively.  相似文献

This article presents a compact microstrip dual-band bandstop filter (BSF), in which one λg/4 defected ground structure (DGS) pair is utilised to realise one stopband while two stepped impedance resonators (SIRs) help obtain another stopband and suppress the spurious harmonics. The design strategies and the equivalent circuits are introduced in detail. The measured results indicate 43.8% and 18.7% fractional bandwidth in the two stopbands (2.4 GHZ and 5.2 GHz) respectively, and the return loss is greater than 15 dB in the whole passband. In addition, size reduction can be conveniently achieved by adjusting the length of the SIRs and DGS.  相似文献

A method to enhance the gain of microstrip dual-band multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna using partially reflective surface (PRS) layer is introduced and investigated in this paper. The proposed antenna consists of two FR4 substrates. The lower substrate has two radiating patches with parasitic elements that are supplied independently and create the MIMO property of the antenna. The upper substrate which is known as superstrate is arrays of PRS unit cells. The PRS layer printed on either side of a dielectric substrate and causes the antenna gain to increase in both frequency bands. The proposed antenna is appropriate for LTE (2.4–3.1 GHz) and WLAN (5.1–5.8 GHz) applications. The measured values of S11 and S22 parameters of the antenna are less than −10 dB and its FBR and gain are 12.5 dB and 5dBi, respectively. This work presents penta-notched UWB antenna with sharp frequency edge selectivity using combination of SRR, CSRR, and DGS to reject the WiMAX (3.30–3.60 GHz), lower WLAN (5.150–5.350 GHz), upper WLAN (5.725–5.825 GHz), downlink of X-band satellite communication (7.0–7.40 GHz), and the uplink of X-band satellite communication (8.10–8.50 GHz) frequency bands. All these frequency bands lie within the UWB frequency spectrum. The proposed antenna is suitable for portable communication applications due to its compact dimensions. It sharply notches the existing frequency bands to mitigate the interference caused by nearby wireless communication systems within UWB frequency range. The sharp notching is achieved by the combination of complementary split ring resonators (CSRR) on the radiating semi-circular patch, split ring resonators (SRR) placed at the junction of the feedline, and a pair of defected ground structures (DGS). All notched bands can be well controlled and shifted and the equivalent lumped model of the notched bands are also developed for validation. The proposed antenna simulated, and measured results show better performance over the present state-of-the-art designs. The proposed penta-notched UWB antenna possesses better reflection coefficient, VSWR, stable gain, and small foot print. The proposed antenna has a nearly omnidirectional radiation pattern in the passbands.  相似文献

采用波导反射模型分析了背腔深度对缝隙天线辐射特性的影响, 通过仿真计算, 确定了当背腔深度等于四分之一波导波长时, 金属背腔会使缝隙天线的输入电阻加倍, 但对输入电抗产生影响较小, 根据以上仿真结果, 提出了一种有效的背腔式缝隙天线的输入阻抗电路模型, 分析了馈电位置和缝隙长度对天线谐振点的影响, 为缝隙天线的多频点设计提供了理论依据.结合仿真工具, 设计了两类工作于Wi-Fi频段的背腔式缝隙天线:第一类天线工作于室外2.4 GHz频段; 第二类天线可以同时工作于2.4 GHz和5.2 GHz频段.最后, 对天线的S11系数进行了实测, 实测与仿真结果基本一致.  相似文献

通过采用扩展矩量法对不同形状旋转对称单极天线进行了分析研究,并设计制作了两种具有宽带特性中心频率750MHz的旋转对称单极天线。这种用于冲激雷达的宽带的宽天线具有高增益,全向,超宽带等特点,分析中采用扩展矩量法,与部分测试结果相比较,两者吻合较好,为工程设计提供了理论依据。  相似文献

Triple band-rejection MIMO/Diversity UWB antenna characteristics are described in this paper. Proposed antenna discards worldwide interoperability for microwave access WiMAX band from 3.3 to 3.6 GHz, wireless local area network WLAN band from 5 to 6 GHz and X-Band satellite downlink communication band from 7.1 to 7.9 GHz. Mushroom Electromagnetic Band Gap (EBG) structures helps to attain band notches in WiMAX and WLAN bands. Uniplanar plus shaped EBG structure is used for notch in X-band downlink satellite communication band. Decoupling strips and slotted ground plane are employed to develop the isolation among two closely spaced UWB monopoles. The individual monopoles are 90° angularly separated with stepped structure which helps to reduce mutual coupling and also contributes towards impedance matching by increasing current path length. Mutual coupling magnitude of more than 15 dB is found over whole UWB frequency range. The Envelope Correlation Coefficient is less than 0.02 over whole UWB frequency range.The variations in the notched frequency with the variations in mushroom EBG structure parameters are investigated.The antenna has been designed using FR-4 substrate and overall dimensions is (64 × 45 × 1.6) mm3.  相似文献

为了实现全球定位系统(global positioning system,GPS)天线小型化并提高其性能,提出了一种新型的三频段GPS宽频带单馈电背腔天线,可在1176.45 MHz(L5)、1227.60 MHz(L2)和1575.42 MHz(L1)三个GPS频段下工作。通过在一端馈送交叉型行波天线并在另一端添加负载,来实现提出天线的右旋圆极化(right-hand circular polarization,RHCP),且配有弯折线散热器。天线尺寸仅为120×120×29 mm3。仿真和实际测量结果显示,提出的单馈电天线无需使用复杂的馈电网络或双馈结构便可提供宽阻抗带宽(VSWR<2)、低轴比(AR)(<2 dB)和高RHCP增益(>4 dBic)。  相似文献

A novel implantable coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed crossed bowtie antenna is proposed for short-range biomedical applications. The antenna is designed to resonate at 2.45 GHz, one of the industrial-scientific-medical (ISM) bands. It is investigated by use of the method of moments design equations and its simulation software (IE3D version 15). The size of the antenna is 371.8 mm3 (26 mm × 22 mm × 0.65 mm). The simulated and analyzed return losses are −23 and −25 dB at the resonant frequency of 2.45 GHz. We have analyzed some more performances of the proposed antenna and the results show that the proposed antenna is a perfect candidate for implantation. The proposed antenna has substantial merits like low profile, miniaturization, lower return loss and better impedance matching with high gain over other implanted antennas.  相似文献

In this paper, a compact microstrip lowpass filter (LPF) is designed, analyzed, simulated, and tested. The proposed design that consists of a basic part in the central section of the structure and two parts of suppression of harmonics that are inserted in the first and last sections of the basic part, have wide-stop band, high suppression factor (−38 dB attenuation level from 2.4 GHz up to 27.4 GHz), low normalized size and sharp roll-off. The proposed LPF has a −3 dB cut-off frequency of 2.4 GHz, a wide stopband bandwidth around 11th harmonic suppression and an insertion loss less than 0.1 dB at passband. This filter has been fabricated and tested and good agreement is observed between the simulated and measured results.  相似文献

In this literature, a compact planar triple-band multiple input multiple output (MIMO) antenna with two monopole elements is presented. Each element includes a defective complementary open-loop resonator (COLR), two slots on both sides of the feedline, two stepped stubs and a monopole ground plane. This structure operates in the frequency bands of 2.22–2.54 GHz, 3.14–3.9 GHz and 5.3–5.7 GHz for WiFi, WiMAX and WLAN applications, respectively. The antenna is not based on a common ground plane, so antenna is low cost and compact. High measured isolation is achieved which is better than 34 dB in all operating bands without using additional decoupling structure. An equivalent circuit model is proposed to investigate the behaviour of the antenna. The envelope correlation coefficient of antenna is less than 0.001 and diversity gain is about 10. The proposed MIMO antenna is fabricated and there is a good agreement between the experimental measurements with the simulation results.  相似文献

In this paper, a slotted printed rectangular monopole antenna (SPRMA) is proposed that covers the entire UWB (ultra-wideband) except for WiMAX and WLAN (802.11/a-n). In the first stage, a rectangular monopole antenna is designed, which covers the entire UWB frequency. Then, a T-slot is inserted in the radiating patch to have the rejection of the band containing WiMAX and WLAN (802.11/a-n). The notch characteristics of the proposed antenna are observed from 3.0 to 3.65 GHz and 4.5 to 6.65 GHz respectively. Measured peak gain of 3.28 dBi has been observed at 4.25 GHz frequency. To show the validation of antenna, mathematical analysis using circuit theory has been also given in the paper. The prototype has been also tested inside the anechoic chamber to give the validation in real-time environment. Several other reported antenna structures have also the same notch band in UWB with different notching methods. The proposed structure's radiation properties are compared with other reported structures proving the compactness of the proposed structure.  相似文献
