This paper is focused on the problem of adaptive sliding mode control design for uncertain neutral‐type stochastic systems under a prescribed H performance. A simplified state observer is put forward to estimate the unknown state variables, which could be properly incorporated for establishing a new linear‐type switching surface and the associated adaptive variable structure controller. By virtue of the adaptive control design, unknown matched perturbation and potential uncertainties can be counteracted, and the system trajectories are guaranteed to reach the predefined switching surface within finite moment in almost surely sense, and performance analysis of the closed‐loop dynamics during the sliding surface is carried out with a specified H performance. At last, two illustrative examples through computer simulations are provided to verify the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

This paper proposes a new mixed policy iteration and value iteration (PI/VI) design method for nonlinear H control based on the theories of polynomial optimization and Lasserre's hierarchy. The design of a mixed PI/VI controller can be carried out in four steps: firstly, initialize design parameters and expand nonlinear system matrices; secondly, obtain a polynomial matrix inequality for policy improvement; thirdly, obtain the Lasserre's hierarchy of a global polynomial optimization problem for value improvement; fourthly, perform the mixed PI/VI algorithm to approximate the optimal nonlinear H control law. The novelty of this work lies in that the problem of designing a nonlinear H controller is translated into a polynomial global optimization problem, which can be solved by Lasserre's hierarchy directly, and then, the mixed PI/VI algorithm is presented to approximate the optimal nonlinear H control law by updating global optimizers iteratively. The main results of this paper consist of the mixed PI/VI algorithm and the related three theorems, which guarantee robust stability and performance of the closed‐loop nonlinear system. Numerical simulations show that the mixed PI/VI algorithm converges very fast and achieves good robust stability and performance in transient behavior, disturbance rejection, and enlarging the domain of attraction of the close‐loop system.  相似文献

This paper is focused on reliable controller design for a composite‐driven scheme of networked control systems via Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy model with probabilistic actuator fault under time‐varying delay. The proposed scheme is distinguished from the other schemes as mentioned in this paper. Aims of this article are to solve the control problem by considering the H, dissipative, and L2?L constraints in a unified way. Firstly, to improve the efficient utilization of bandwidth, the adaptive composite‐driven scheme is introduced. In such a scenario, the channel transmission mechanism can be adjusted between adaptive event‐triggered generator scheme and time‐driven scheme. In this study, the threshold is dependent on a new adaptive law, which can be obtained online rather than a predefined constant. With a constant threshold, it is difficult to get the variation of the system. Secondly, a novel fuzzy Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional is constructed to design the fuzzy controller, and delay‐dependent conditions for stability and performance analysis of the control system are obtained. Then, LMI‐based conditions for the existence of the desired fuzzy controller are presented. Finally, an inverted pendulum that is controlled through the channel is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the quantized state feedback H control problem for discrete‐time linear time‐invariant systems. The quantizer considered here is dynamic and composed of an adjustable “zoom” parameter and a static quantizer. Static quantizer ranges are with practical significance and fully considered here. A quantized H controller design strategy is proposed with taking quantizer errors into account, where an iterative linear matrix inequality (LMI) based optimization algorithm is developed to minimize static quantizer ranges with meeting H performance requirement for quantized closed‐loop systems. An example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley and Sons Asia Pte Ltd and Chinese Automatic Control Society  相似文献

This paper investigates robust observer‐controller compensator design using Vidyasagar's structure (VS). VS has a unit matrix parameter H similar to the Q parameter for the Youla–Kucera parameterization. VS can be designed based on the left coprimeness of the central controller in the H‐loop shaping design procedure (H‐LSDP) and therefore can preserve the intrinsic properties of the H‐LSDP. This paper introduces algebraic methods to simplify the design of H in the VS controller by solving specific algebraic equations. In particular, the algebraic design of H can achieve two things. First, a dynamic H adjusts the tracking performance and yields the integral action. Second, a dynamic H rejects the input and output sinusoidal disturbances with known frequencies. These attributes are indications of the flexibility of the proposed method since the output‐feedback controller design of the H‐LSDP cannot easily deal with such conditions. This paper discusses the achieved loop and the closed‐loop behavior of the system with VS, and also gives two numerical examples. The first example shows that the proposed method results in a better design in many aspects than the resulting from H‐LSDP. The second example shows the application of the proposed method to rejecting input and output step disturbances, and input and output multiple sinusoidal disturbances, for which the H‐LSDP can hardly be used. The problem of H control for networked Markovian jump system under event‐triggered scheme is studied in this paper. In order to reduce the utilization of limited network bandwidth, a dynamic discrete event‐triggered scheme to choose the transmitted data is designed. A Markovian jump time‐delay system model is employed to describe the event‐triggered scheme and the network related behavior, such as transmission delay, data package dropout, and disorder. Furthermore, a sufficient condition is derived to guarantee that the resulting closed‐loop system is stable and has a prescribed performance index. A co‐design method for the H controller and the event‐triggered scheme is then proposed. The effectiveness and potential of the theoretic results obtained are illustrated by a simulation example. This paper considers the problem of delay‐dependent adaptive reliable H controller design against actuator faults for linear time‐varying delay systems. Based on the online estimation of eventual faults, the parameters of adaptive reliable H controller are updating automatically to compensate the fault effects on the system. A new delay‐dependent reliable H controller is established using a linear matrix inequality technique and an adaptive method, which guarantees the stability and adaptive H performance of closed‐loop systems in normal and faulty cases. A numerical example and its simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this study, a PID‐type controller incorporating an adaptive learning scheme for the mixed H2/H tracking performance is developed for constrained robots under unknown or uncertain plant parameters and external disturbances. The mixed H2/H control design has the advantage of both H2 optimal control performance and H robust control performance and the adaptive control scheme is used to compensate the plant uncertainties. By virtue of the skew‐symmetric property of the constrained robotic systems and an adequate choice of state variable transformation, sufficient conditions are developed for the adaptive mixed H2/H tracking control problems in terms of a pair of coupled algebraic equations instead of a pair of coupled nonlinear differential equations. The proposed methods are simple and the coupled algebraic equations can be solved analytically. Simulation results indicate that the desired performance of the proposed adaptive mixed H2/H tracking control schemes for the uncertain constrained robotic systems can be achieved.  相似文献

In this paper, the H input/output (I/O) linearization formulation is applied to design an inner‐loop nonlinear controller for a nonlinear ship course‐keeping control problem. Due to the ship motion dynamics are non‐minimum phase, it is impossible to use the ordinary feedback I/O linearization to resolve. Hence, the technique of H I/O linearization is proposed to obtain a nonlinear H controller such that the compensated nonlinear system approximates the linear reference model in I/O behaviour. Then a μ‐synthesis method is employed to design an outer‐loop robust controller to address tracking, regulation, and robustness issues. The time responses of the tracking signals for the closed‐loop system reveal that the overall robust nonlinear controller is able to provide robust stability and robust performance for the plant uncertainties and state measurement errors. In this paper, the H control problem is investigated for a general class of discrete‐time nonlinear stochastic systems with state‐, control‐, and disturbance‐dependent noises (also called (x, u, v)‐dependent noises). In the system under study, the system state, the control input, and the disturbance input are all coupled with white noises, and this gives rise to considerable difficulties in the stability and H performance analysis. By using the inequality techniques, a sufficient condition is established for the existence of the desired controller such that the closed‐loop system is mean‐square asymptotically stable and also satisfies H performance constraint for all nonzero exogenous disturbances under the zero‐initial condition. The completing square technique is used to design the H controller with hope to reduce the resulting conservatism, and a special algebraic identity is employed to deal with the cross‐terms induced by (x, u, v)‐dependent noises. Several corollaries with simplified conditions are presented to facilitate the controller design. The effectiveness of the developed methods is demonstrated by two numerical examples with one concerning the multiplier‐accelerator macroeconomic system.  相似文献

A new class of reduced‐order controllers is obtained for the H problem. The reduced‐order controller does not compromise the performance attained by the full‐order controller. Algorithms for deriving reduced‐order H controllers are presented in both continuous and discrete time. The reduction in order is related to unstable transmission zeros of the subsystem from disturbance inputs to measurement outputs. In the case where the subsystem has no infinite zeros, the resulting order of the H controller is lower than that of the existing reduced‐order H controller designs which are based on reduced‐order observer design. Furthermore, the mechanism of the controller order reduction is analysed on the basis of the two‐Riccati equation approach. The structure of the reduced‐order H controller is investigated. The disturbance observer (DOB)‐based controller is widely used to estimate and suppress disturbance in motion control system. Because the low‐pass filter (Q‐filter) in DOB decides the performances of disturbance suppression, noise rejection, and robust stability against system uncertainties, design of Q‐filter is the principal task in DOB construction. This paper presents a systematic scheme for Q‐filter design based on H norm optimization. Cost function for optimization is proposed by considering performance and relative order condition of the Q‐filter. The norm minimization problem is then transformed to a standard H control problem. Furthermore, the relationship between performance and frequency weighting functions is investigated based on which selection of weighting functions is presented. Simulation results validate the global optimality and systematicness of the proposed method. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, an optimization method of low‐order multivariable controllers for H control is proposed. Starting from a low‐order stabilizing controller, our method gives a sequence of controllers for which the H norm performance index is monotonically non‐increasing by tuning the numerator coefficient matrices of the low‐order controller. This controller class includes multivariable PID controllers. The proposed method is a descent method where the feasible direction is calculated by solving a linear matrix inequality that represents a sufficient condition for the H criterion for each frequency. Usefulness is shown by two numerical examples. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, new separated H and H2 performance criteria are derived for a class of time‐delay systems. When used in robust performance analysis and synthesis for real polytopic uncertainty and in multiobjective controller synthesis, they can partially rule out the technical restriction of using a single Lyapunov function, and therefore, lead to potentially less conservative linear matrix inequality (LMI) characterizations. Based on the criteria, robust multiobjective H2/H controller is designed for time‐delay systems with polytopic uncertainty. All the conditions are given in terms of LMIs. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the proposed method. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley and Sons Asia Pte Ltd and Chinese Automatic Control Society  相似文献

This paper proposes the application of Covariance Matrix Adaptation Evolution Strategy (CMA-ES) in fixed structure H loop shaping controller design. Integral Time Absolute Error (ITAE) performance requirement is incorporated as a constraint with an objective of maximization of stability margin in the fixed structure H loop shaping controller design problem. Pneumatic servo system, separating tower process and F18 fighter aircraft system are considered as test systems. The CMA-ES designed fixed structure H loop-shaping controller is compared with the traditional H loop shaping controller, non-smooth optimization and Heuristic Kalman Algorithm (HKA) based fixed structure H loop shaping controllers in terms of stability margin. 20% perturbation in the nominal plant is used to validate the robustness of the CMA-ES designed H loop shaping controller. The effect of Finite Word Length (FWL) is considered to show the implementation difficulties of controller in digital processors. Simulation results demonstrated that CMA-ES based fixed structure H loop shaping controller is suitable for real time implementation with good robust stability and performance.  相似文献

This article studies the problems of H output tracking performance analysis and controller design for networked control systems (NCSs) with time delay and packet dropout. By using linear matrix inequality (LMI)-based method, H output tracking performance analysis and controller design are presented for NCSs with constant sampling period. For NCSs with time-varying sampling period, a multi-objective optimisation methodology in terms of LMIs is used to deal with H output tracking performance analysis and controller design. The designed controllers can guarantee asymptotic tracking of prescribed reference outputs while rejecting disturbances. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed H output tracking controller design.  相似文献

The rotary inverted pendulum, also named Furuta Pendulum, has been studied extensively for control performance evaluation in under‐actuated mechanisms. The H control invoking linear matrix inequality (H‐LMI) has been also widely employed for linear control design. This paper deals with the feasibility of the H‐LMI technique to stabilize the rotary inverted pendulum around its unstable equilibrium point when there exists a backlash nonlinearity in the actuator. So, the H‐LMI faces the nonlinear effect in the actuator and the non‐linear pendulum model. Experimental realization of the designed H‐LMI control also shows evidence of the good performance of the controller subject to external perturbation. This paper investigates the problem of simultaneous robust normalization and delay‐dependent H control for a class of singular time‐delay systems with uncertainties. Not only the state and input matrices but also the derivative matrices of the considered systems are assumed to have uncertainties. New sufficient conditions for the existence of a proportional plus derivative state feedback H controller are derived as LMIs such that the closed‐loop singular system is normal, stable, and guarantee a specific level of performance. Specially, a static state feedback H controller alone or a state‐derivative feedback H controller alone can unite to be dealt with by applying our proposed method. Two simulation examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in this paper. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the finite horizon H performance robustness problem with parameter variations. Assuming a nominal model, an iterative procedure is given to synthesize a suboptimal H controller, which yields the required performance even under parameter variations. As a byproduct, an expression for the variation of performance due to parameter variations is given for this specific controller. An example which illustrates the methodology is worked out under parameter uncertainties.  相似文献
