High-efficiency frequency up-conversion in trivalent erbium ion doped new fluoride glass matrix (ZnF2-A1F3-PbF2-LiF) was investigated. Under 950 nm laser-diode excitation, the glasses gave very intense green, weak red and violet emissions. The up-conversion mechanism is discussed. In addition, the infrared transmittance spectrum, the Raman spectrum and the lifetime of the trivalent erbium states in the samples were measured. The results illustrate the large potential of these new glasses for photonic applications. 相似文献

Europium and terbium complexes with strong fluorescence intensity and long fluorescence lifetime were prepared. By replacing half of the europium or terbium ion with M (M = Zn^2+, Cd^2+, and Cr^3+) using the doped method, and then incorporating it with 18-crown-6 ether and terephthalic acid, six heteronuclear samples EuZnLL'Cl3·3H2O(1), EuCdLL2'Cl3·5H2O(2), EuCrLL'Cl4· 4H2O(3), TbZnLL'Cl3·4H2O(4), TbCdLL'2Cl3·4H2O(5), and TbCrLL'2Cl4 ·4H2O(6) (L = terephthalic acid, L'= 18-Crown-6 ether) were obtained. The elemental analysis, molar conductivities, rare earth complexometry, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), ultraviolet (UV), TGA, fluorescence intensity, and fluorescence lifetime of the samples were measured. The results showed that there were good luminescence properties for heteronuclear complexes (1), (2), (4), and (5), which were even stronger than those of the homonuclear complexes Eu2LL'2Cl4·4H2O and Tb2LL'2Cl4 ·4H2O, but the luminescence properties of EuCrLL'Cl4·4H2O, TbCrLL'Cl4·4H2O were very weak. A possible luminescence mechanism was suggested by the organic-inorganic doped mechanism and the law of intramolecular energy transfer. 相似文献

Two series of solid complexes of europium and terbium with biphenyl 4-carboxylic acid and phen were synthesized and characterized in this report. Their elemental analysis, molar conductivities and TG-DTA studies indicate that the complexes have the composition of Eu(phen)L3·1/2H2O, Eu0.5RE0.5(phen)L3·1/2H2O; Tb(phen)L3·H2O and Tb0.5RE0.5(Phen)L3·1/2H2O. (RE=Y3 , La3 and Gd3 ; L=biphenyl 4-carboxylic acid; phen=o-Phenanthroline). The studies of their IR, UV 1H NMR and molar conductivities demonstrate that biphenyl 4-carboylic acid is bounded with RE(Ⅲ) ion. Rare earth ions coordinate with two nitrogen atoms of phen molecules directly in these rare earth complexes. The fluorescence spectra and fluorescence lifetimes of the rare earth complexes show that the fluorescent intensity and lifetime of a series of europium complexes are longer than those of the series of terbium complexes as having the some ligands. There are better fluorescent intensity and lifetime of hetero-nuclear rare earth complexes than homo-nuclear rare earth complexes for europium complexes. The fluorescence emission intensity of Eu3 is raised by inert fluorescent rare earth ions (Y3 , Gd3 and La3 ), but in Tb3 hetero-nuclear rare earth complexes the intensity of Tb3 ions are quenched by the inert fluorescent rare earth ions. 相似文献

Lanthanide fluorides exhibited unique luminescent properties in terms of their low phonon energy can restrict the luminescence quenching and extend luminescent lifetimes.Here,a room-temperature co-precipitation method was used to synthesize europium(III) activated La1-xGdxF3 solid phosphors.X-ray diffraction(XRD) data confirmed the crystalline phases of synthesized sample belongs to orthorhombic system.All the as-derived materials exhibited red luminescence(5D0→7F1) under the excitation at longer wavelengths(394 and 466 nm).The powder with the most intense emission was achieved in terms of 10 mol.% doping concentration(Eu content,La/Gd=1/9) and sample sintered at 700 oC.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) investigated the morphology and crystalline of the samples,showing that many regular and large balls(5-10 μmol/L) were dispersed within the micro-meter scale composites.We proved that the above crystal growth structures were controllable and predicable based on the surface functionalization by polyvinylpyrrolidone ligand. 相似文献

合成了铈-草酸-丙烯酸三元固体配合物。利用元素分析、红外光谱(FT-IR)、紫外.可见光谱(UV-Vis)、热重分析(TGA)和荧光光谱等手段研究了配合物的结构和性质。结果表明配合物的组成为[Ce(OOC-COO)(CH2=CH-COO)]·3H2O,荧光光谱表明,配合物中的有机配体能够有效地把吸收的能量传递给中心Ce^3+离子,强烈敏化Ce^3+发光,且发射谱线很窄,主发射峰为Ce^3+的5d→^2F7/2跃迁,这对寻找新型稀土配合物发光材料和制备有机电致发光器件具有一定的价值。 相似文献

The phase-transformation in sol-gel preparation of barium hexaferrite and the formation of barium hexaferrite doped with La3 ~ were studied by chemical phase analysis, X-ray diffraction and infrared spectrometry analysis. The experimental results show that phase transformation reactions of FeCO3, Fe2O3 and BaFe2O4, barium hexaferrite and γ-Fe2O3 take place in the heat treatment of gel. While the doping lanthanide ion replace barium ion, an equivalent quantity of Fe^3 are reduced to Fe^2 to maintain the eharge equilibrium. 相似文献

Europium-doped graphitic carbon nitride was synthesized by an easy method and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflection spectroscopy (UV-Vis DRS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), photolu- minescence spectra (PL) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The effect of dopant concentration on the rate of photocata- lytic degradation was investigated through degrading methylene blue aqueous solution. The results indicated that the europium-doped samples all possessed increased photocatalytic activity and the optimal europium content was 0.38 wt.%. Hexagonal yttrium hydroxide fluoride microcrystals were prepared by a two-step hydrothermal route using yttrium nitrate, sodium hydroxide and sodium fluoride as raw materials to react in propanetriol solvent. The samples were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive spectrum (EDS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier trans-form infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), thermogravimetre and differential-thermogravimetric analysis (TG-DTA), which revealed that Y(OH)2.14F0.86 microcrystals were multi-branched and that the branches of Y(OH)2.14F0.86 microcrystals were composed of hierarchical tubes. This novel multi-branched and intriguing hierarchical tubular structure of yttrium hydroxide fluoride maybe has a potential application in photoelectric crystals. The formation of branched Y(OH)2.14F0.86 microcrystals with hierarchical tubular structure were due to the substitution reaction and Oswald ripening. 相似文献

In order to combine the merits of rare earth organic complexes with excellent material performances of polymers,a polymerizable chelating agent, 3-allyl-2, 4-pentane dione (APD), was synthesized by phase transfer catalysis and its rare earth complexes were prepared. The compounds were characterized by EA, IR and ^1H NMR. Their UV spectra and fluorescence spectra were investigated. The effects of allyl on the luminescence properties of the complexes were studied.The results show that the sensitization of APD is changed by allyl in comparison with that of acetyl acetone (acac), and it becomes an ideal novel ligand of Eu. A novel dendritic europium complex containing grafted carbazole units as functional peripheries was synthesized and characterized. The Foerster energy transfer from the peripheries of carbazole units to β-diketonate as well as from the hgands to the central Eu(Ⅲ) ions in the complex was demonstrated. Under the excitation of carbazole units and β-diketonate, characteristic red emission peaks at 612 nm with four shoulders due to the Eu(Ⅲ) ion transition of 5^D0→7^FJ (J=0-4) were observed for the complex. 相似文献
