Flexibility, quality and cost advantages are three major factors motivating the introduction of CIM. However, lack of formalisms, tools, methodologies and organizational structures have slowed work in the CIM field. The development of application software capable of tailoring solutions to specific manufacturing problems from a set of existing and future CIM components, the automatic generation of friendly user interfaces to support individual user requirements, the design features that ensure the independence of application software, and the user interface software for accommodating changing manufacturing requirements are some of the key factors that determine the successful application of CIM. The Papillon prototype (developed under the ESPRIT research programme) presented here is based on sound software engineering principles, and has achieved an architecture which separates the application from the user interface, supports configurability of components and generates user interfaces without direct coding. Initially, pure application software with no graphics is built from a set of basic Papillon building blocks: graphical representations are then described by using the EASEL subsystem, and finally the user interface, which enables the user to ‘drive’ applications, is automatically generated. The EASEL subsystem is independent of the Papillon run-time system, and therefore different graphical user interfaces can be generated easily and evalauted at run-time with no need for recompilation. Fundamental concepts such as portability, configurability and reuse of methods and tools are major considerations in the overall design and implementation of the Papillon system. Although the primary emphasis is on CIM, the generic design of the Papillon system makes it an ideal environment for the development of graphical software for a wide range of applications in several fields. 相似文献

针对轨道车辆铝型材焊接接头缺乏标准化管理、重复建模等问题,设计开发了一个3D铝型材焊接接头库,实现了三维接头模型及其数据信息的有效管理。首先在Pro/E系统中创建了具有参数化功能的样板模型;然后利用Microsoft Access创建了数据库,用ADO数据库访问接口技术解决了与Pro/E系统之间的通信;最后在Visual C++编译环境下,调用Pro/Toolkit应用程序提供的相关函数,编制了菜单和用户操作界面。研究结果表明,该铝型材焊接接头库的建立方便了车体建模,还可以允许用户按需求扩展焊接接头库,实现了系列化设计,提高了设计效率。 相似文献

针对液压挖掘机工作装置中动臂模型设计时步骤繁琐、参数较多等问题,为了提高设计效率,利用数据库技术和UG软件的二次开发功能实现了液压挖掘机动臂模型的参数化设计。首先,通过UG软件对某型号挖掘机的动臂结构进行了建模;利用UG软件二次开发工具,并结合C++语言开发出了模型的控制程序和用户界面对话框;然后,运用数据库技术建立了动臂模型数据库,利用Access建立了动臂模型几何参数的数据库并注册了数据源;创建了对话框CDataChoice和CInsertDialog访问数据库,并调用模型的几何参数或对数据库中的参数进行了编辑和修改;最后,修改了系统的环境变量,通过输入或调用相关参数得到了所需模型。研究结果表明,该参数化设计方法可以大大简化建模过程,提高设计效率。 相似文献

We propose a mixed 0–1 linear programming model for repetitive scheduling of multirobot assembly and machining cells. The approach adopted is monolithic as opposed to hierarchical to avoid system suboptimization. The model permits any number of alternative ways (or modes) to perform each operation. A mode of an operation is determined by the required resources (facilities) and the duration of their use. The model incorporates facility changeover times. Robot collisions are avoided. Several objective functions are formulated to support different purposes. The scheduling problem of a multirobot assembly cell is formulated and solved by using commercially available mathematical programming software. Solutions under four different objective functions are reported.Acknowledging the complexity and considerable size of the formulation required, we prescribe and illustrate specific methods to achieve size reduction. Finally, for successful use of our model, an information processing schema is offered as a general guidance to help data management needed by the model. 相似文献

The paper analyses the manufacturing information characteristics with regard to the domain of the discrete engineering manufacturing industry. This leads to the derivation of a set of entity-relationship models, and a set of ‘enterprise rules’. The former represent the data structure and are domain-dependent; the latter is a set of rules which refines the domain-dependent entity-relationships models according to the practice adopted in an individual enterprise. 异地开发产品要求装配设计成员间进行协同工作。为支持分布式的装配规划活动,提出了协同装配规划网络环境的体系结构,研究了用户界面、通讯管理、应用服务和信息管理等功能模块,并结合虚拟现实建模语言表达的客户端产品显示模型和服务器端装配应用模型,采用Java—EAI等技术,开发了基于Web的协同装配规划原型系统。用一个驱动装配体实例,说明异地人员间同步的协同装配规划过程,验证了协同装配规划方法的可行性和系统的有效性。 相似文献

Since the concepts of concurrent engineering were introduced in mid 1980s, the product design process has become complicated.
This is because many factors related to the life cycle of the product may need to be considered during the design stage. Therefore,
shortening product development time becomes important for the survival of an enterprise. In this paper, an integrated intelligent
environment to support concurrent engineering is proposed. Two major modules are provided by this system to assist change
management. One is a constraint network module that analyses the related constraints about a design change to find the design
variables influenced. Another is a product assembly module that extracts the design data from a CAD database to analyse the
spatial relationships relating to an assembly. The data in the above two modules are integrated in a data integrated module,
in which an entity relational data model was developed to describe the integrated data. Finally, a web-based query system
was developed to provide a multiplatform environment for the user to refer to the data in the constraint network module and
the product assembly module during a design change process. The proposed environment is implemented in the design change process
