Dielectric properties of the system (1 − x)(La1/2Na1/2)TiO3 x Ca(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3, where 0.4 # x # 0.6, have been investigated at microwave frequencies. The temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (τf), nearly 0 ppm/°C, was realized at x = 0.58. These ceramics had perovskite structure and showed relatively low dielectric losses. A new dielectric material applicable to microwave devices having Q · f of 12000–14000 GHz and a dielectric constant (εr) of 59–60 has been obtained at 1300–1350°C for 5–15 h sintering.  相似文献

The dielectric properties of the Ba (Co1/3 Nb2/3)O3–Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 system were determined. Ba (Co1/3 Nb2/3)O3–Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 has a complex perovskite structure, a high dielectric constant, a low dielectric loss, and a low temperature coefficient of the resonant frequency. A solid-solution ceramic with 0.7Ba (Co1/3 Nb2/3)O3·0.3 Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 has a dielectric constant of K=33.5, Q=11000 at 6.5 GHz, and a temperature coefficient of the resonant frequency of τf=0 ppm/°C. The temperature coefficient of resonant frequency can be varied by changing the composition. The Q values of the ceramics can be increased by annealing in a nitrogen atmosphere. These ceramics can be used for resonant elements and stabilized oscillators.  相似文献

The effects of calcium substitution on the structural and microwave dielectric characteristics of [(Pb1− x Ca x )1/2La1/2](Mg1/2Nb1/2)O3 ceramics (with x = 0.01–0.5) were investigated. All the materials were observed to have an ordered A(B1/2'B1/2")O3-type perovskite structure; however, the space group of the structure changed from Fm 3 m to Pa 3 as the calcium content increased to x = 0.1, and then from Pa 3 to R 3¯ at the x = 0.5 composition. During the structural evolution, the lattice parameter of the perovskite cell decreased linearly, and the dielectric constant ( k ) also decreased, from k = 80 to k = 38. However, the product of the quality factor and the resonant frequency ( Q × f ) increased from 50 000 GHz to 90 000 GHz as the calcium content increased. Also, the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (τƒ) gradually changed from 120 ppm/°C to −40 ppm/°C as the calcium content increased. At the x = 0.3 composition, a combination of properties— k ∼ 50, Q × f ∼ 86 000 GHz, and τƒ∼ 0 ppm/°C—can be obtained.  相似文献

The samples of complex perovskite Ba(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3 (BMT) were synthesized at various sintering temperatures and the X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns and Raman spectra of the samples were collected. Both the structure refinements using the XRD data and the Raman spectra show that the samples sintered above 1500°C with high pellet relative density (>95%) take almost-perfect B-site-ordered structure; while the samples sintered below 1400°C with low pellet relative density (<70%) take the more disordered structure at B-sites. The vibrational modes of 1:2 ordered BMT     were obtained and illustrated by using first-principle calculations. With the assistance of the calculation results, Raman peaks of BMT were assigned as A 1g(1) (107 cm−1), A 1g(2) (212 cm−1), A 1g(3) (433 cm−1), A 1g(4) (798 cm−1), and E g(1) (104 cm−1), E g(2) (160 cm−1), E g(3) (264 cm−1), E g(4) (386 cm−1), E g(5) (576 cm−1). The highly ordered BMT sample at B-site shows longer phonon lifetime and weaker coupling among phonons than the disordered BMT, which probably are the intrinsic reasons for the highly ordered BMT sample to have the low dielectric loss.  相似文献

Resonators of Ba(Zn1/3Ta2/3)O3, sintered between 1450° and 1600°C, are characterized by Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and scanning electron microscopy. The quality factors of the resonators are found to depend on sintering temperature, and at 1600°C there is evidence of Zn loss from the surface. The frequency of the A1g Raman mode changes from 800.9 cm−1 for a sample with Q = 80000 (2 GHz), to 794.5 cm−1 when Q = 44000 (2 GHz). Changes in the position of this and other Raman modes are thought to be due to distortions of the oxygen octahedra, brought about by Zn loss. The presence of a BaTa2O6 phase at the surface is confirmed by XRD and SEM.  相似文献

The microwave dielectric properties of CaTi1− x (Al1/2Nb1/2) x O3 solid solutions (0.3 ≤ x ≤ 0.7) have been investigated. The sintered samples had perovskite structures similar to CaTiO3. The substitution of Ti4+ by Al3+/Nb5+ improved the quality factor Q of the sintered specimens. A small addition of Li3NbO4 (about 1 wt%) was found to be very effective for lowering sintering temperature of ceramics from 1450–1500° to 1300°C. The composition with x = 0.5 sintered at 1300°C for 5 h revealed excellent dielectric properties, namely, a dielectric constant (ɛr) of 48, a Q × f value of 32 100 GHz, and a temperature coefficient of the resonant frequency (τf) of −2 ppm/K. Li3NbO4 as a sintering additive had no harmful influence on τf of ceramics.  相似文献

The microwave dielectric properties and the microstructures of Nd(Zn1/2Ti1/2)O3 (NZT) ceramics prepared by the conventional solid-state route have been studied. The prepared NZT exhibited a mixture of Zn and Ti showing 1:1 order in the B-site. The dielectric constant values (ɛr) saturated at 29.1–31.6. The quality factor ( Q × f ) values of 56 700–170 000 (at 8.5 GHz) can be obtained when the sintering temperatures are in the range of 1300°–1420°C. The temperature coefficient of resonant frequency τf was not sensitive to the sintering temperature. The ɛ r value of 31.6, the Q × f value of 170 000 (at 8.5 GHz), and the τf value of −42 ppm/°C were obtained for NZT ceramics sintering at 1330°C for 4 h. For applications of high selective microwave ceramic resonators, filters, and antennas, NZT is proposed as a suitable material candidate.  相似文献

Physical and microwave dielectric properties of complex perovskite Ba(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3 ceramics have been investigated as a function of the amount of BaWO4 in the temperature range from 20° to 80°C at 10.5 GHz. Up to 0.05 mol BaWO4 addition, the lattice constant ratio ( c/a ), ordering parameter, apparent density, and unloaded Q all increase, due to the increase in the substitution of Ta5+ ions of Ba(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3 by W6+ ions from the melted BaWO4 at above 1430°C. With further addition of BaWO4, the unloaded Q decreases, due to an increase of the BaWO4 phase. The temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (TCF) can be controlled by the volume mixture rule of Ba(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3 and BaWO4. When 0.09 mol BaWO4 is added, TCF becomes 0 ppm/°C.  相似文献

LaAlO3-stabilized La2/3TiO3 (LT) ceramics were prepared by the conventional mixed oxide route. Small amounts of manganese oxide were added to eliminate Ti4+ reduction. The powders were calcined at 1150°C and sintered at 1400°–1500°C for 4 h and cooled at rates of 900°–15°C/h. The products were high density and single phase, with an average grain size of 6 μm. The LaAlO3-stabilized LT ceramics exhibited a relative permittivity (ɛr) of 64, a positive temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (τf) of 84, and dielectric Q value × resonant frequency ( Q × f ) values of 16 400 GHz. The crystal structure and microstructures have been investigated using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) in conjunction with X-ray diffraction (XRD). One candidate crystal structure, a ≈2 a p (where a p is the lattice parameter of the high-temperature form of the cubic perovskite), b ≈2 a p, and c ≈2 a p with a space group Cmmm (65), has been confirmed by XRD, electron diffraction, and lattice imaging techniques. Microtwins, with twin boundaries parallel to the {100} planes, were observed in the microstructures.  相似文献

The dielectric properties of dense ceramics of the "twinned" 8H-hexagonal perovskite Ba8Nb4Ti3O24 are reported. Single-phase powders were obtained from the mixed-oxide route at 1325°C and ceramics (>92% of the theoretical X-ray density) by sintering in air or flowing O2 at 1400°–1450°C. The ceramics are dc insulators with a band gap >3.4 eV that resonate at microwave frequencies with relative permittivity, ɛr∼44–48, quality factor, Q × f r∼21 000–23 500 GHz (at f r∼5.5 GHz) and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency, TC f,∼+115 ppm/K.  相似文献

The microwave dielectric properties of dense ceramics of a new A4B3O12 type cation-deficient hexagonal perovskite Sr3LaNb3O12 are reported. Single-phase powders can be obtained from the mixed-oxide route at 1320°C and dense ceramics (>96% of the theoretical X-ray density) with uniform microstructures (5–12 um) can be obtained by sintering in air at 1430°C. The ceramic exhibits a moderate dielectric constant ɛr∼36, a high quality factor Q × f ∼45 327 GHz, and a low temperature coefficient of resonant frequency τ f of −9 ppm/°C.  相似文献

We report the microwave dielectric properties and the microstructures of Nd(Co1/2Ti1/2)O3 ceramics prepared by the conventional solid-state route. The prepared Nd(Co1/2Ti1/2)O3 exhibits a mixture of Co and Ti showing a 1:1 order in the B site. Lowering the sintering temperature (as low as 1260°C) and promoting the densification of Nd(Co1/2Ti1/2)O3 ceramics could be effectively achieved by adding CuO (up to 0.75 wt%). At 1350°C, Nd(Co1/2Ti1/2)O3 ceramics with 0.5 wt% CuO addition possess a dielectric constant (ɛr) of 27.6, a Q × f value of 165 000 GHz (at 9 GHz), and a temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (τf) of −20 ppm/°C. By comparing with pure Nd(Co1/2Ti1/2)O3 ceramics, incorporating additional CuO helps to render a dielectric material with a higher dielectric constant, a smaller τf value, and a 20% dielectric loss reduction, which makes it a very promising candidate for applications requiring low microwave dielectric loss.  相似文献

The microwave dielectric properties of CaTi1-χ(Al1/2Ta1/2)cHO3 solid solutions (0.3 ≤χ≤ 0.5) have been investigated. The ceramic samples had perovskite structures similar to CaTiO3. The partial substitution of Ti4+ by a coupled Al3+/Tas+ permitted improvement of the quality factor Q . The dielectric constant (τr) and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (τr) decrease rapidly with an increase of χ. A new high-quality microwave dielectric material was found at χ= 0.46 with σr= 46.5, Q f = 27300 GHz, and πf= 0 ppm/°C. The relationship between microstructures and dielectric properties is presented.  相似文献

A high dielectric constant and low-loss ceramic with composition Sr4LaTiNb3O15 has been prepared by the conventional solid-state ceramic route. This compound adopts an A5B4O15 cation-deficient hexagonal perovskite structure and crystallizes in the trigonal system with unit cell parameters a =5.6307(2), c =11.3692(3) Å, V =312.16(2) Å3, and Z =1. The dielectric properties of dense ceramics sintered in air at 1460°C have been characterized at microwave frequencies. The results show that the material affords a relatively high dielectric constant ɛr∼43, a high quality factor Q × f ∼44 718 GHz, and a low temperature coefficient of resonant frequency TCf∼13 ppm/°C.  相似文献

0.6Pb(Ni1/2W1/2)O3·0.4PbTiO3(0.6PNW·0.4PT) of complex perovskite structure is successfully synthesized by mechanical activation of mixed oxide composition, followed by sintering at 950°C. It exhibits a considerably stable temperature dependence of dielectric constant over the wide temperature range of −120° to 20°C, although there occurs a dielectric peak at around 74°C. Raman spectroscopic studies show the coexistence of tetragonal and pseudocubic perovskite phases on sintering at 950°C, which are attributed to the inhomogeneous distribution of PbTiO3 arising from mechanical activation. The dielectric behavior can be fine tuned by thermal annealing at 750°C, leading to phase redistribution in PNW-PT.  相似文献

A Zn2Te3O8 ceramic was investigated as a promising dielectric material for low-temperature co-fired ceramics (LTCC) applications. The Zn2Te3O8 ceramic was synthesized using the solid-state reaction method by sintering in the temperature range 540°–600°C. The structure and microstructure of the compounds were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy methods. The dielectric properties of the ceramics were studied in the frequency range 4–6 GHz. The Zn2Te3O8 ceramic has a dielectric constant (ɛr) of 16.2, a quality factor ( Q u× f ) of 66 000 at 4.97 GHz, and a temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (τf) of −60 ppm/°C, respectively. Addition of 4 wt% TiO2 improved the τf to −8.7 ppm/°C with an ɛr of 19.3 and a Q u× f of 27 000 at 5.14 GHz when sintered at 650°C. The chemical reactivity of the Zn2Te3O8 ceramic with Ag and Al metal electrodes was also investigated.  相似文献

The microwave dielectric properties of the (1− x )CaTiO3– x Ca(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 ceramic system have been investigated. The ceramic samples sintered at 1300°–1450°C for 4 h in air exhibit orthorhombic pervoskite and form a complete solid solution for different x value. When the x value increased from 0.2 to 0.8, the permittivity ɛr decreased from 115 to 42, the unloaded quality factor Q × f increased from 5030 to 13 030 GHz, and the temperature coefficient τf decreased from 336 to −28 ppm/°C. When x =0.7, the best combination of dielectric properties, a near zero temperature coefficient of resonant frequency of τf∼−6 ppm/°C, Q × f ∼10 860 GHz and ɛr∼51 is obtained.  相似文献

A coating approach for synthesizing 0.9Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3–0.1PbTiO3 (0.9PMN–0.1PT) and PMN using a single calcination step was demonstrated. The pyrochlore phase was prevented by coating Mg(OH)2 on Nb2O5 particles. Coating of Mg(OH)2 on Nb2O5 was done by precipitating Mg(OH)2 in an aqueous Nb2O5 suspension at pH 10. The coating was confirmed using optical micrographs and zeta-potential measurements. A single calcination treatment of the Mg(OH)2-coated Nb2O5 particles mixed with appropriate amounts of PbO and PbTiO3 powders at 900°C for 2 h produced pyrochlore-free perovskite 0.9PMN–0.1PT and PMN powders. The elimination of the pyrochlore phase was attributed to the separation of PbO and Nb2O5 by the Mg(OH)2 coating. The Mg(OH)2 coating on the Nb2O5 improved the mixing of Mg(OH)2 and Nb2O5 and decreased the temperature for complete columbite conversion to ∼850°C. The pyrochlore-free perovskite 0.9PMN–0.1PT powders were sintered to 97% density at 1150°C. The sintered 0.9PMN–0.1PT ceramics exhibited a dielectric constant maximum of ∼24 660 at 45°C at a frequency of 1 kHz.  相似文献

(Ni1− x Zn x )Nb2O6, 0≤ x ≤1.0, ceramics with >97% density were prepared by a conventional solid-state reaction, followed by sintering at 1200°–1300°C (depending on the value of x ). The XRD patterns of the sintered samples (0≤ x ≤1.0) revealed single-phase formation with a columbite ( Pbcn ) structure. The unit cell volume slightly increased with increasing Zn content ( x ). All the compositions showed high electrical resistivity (ρdc=1.6±0.3 × 1011Ω·cm). The microwave (4–5 GHz) dielectric properties of (Ni1− x Zn x )Nb2O6 ceramics exhibited a significant dependence on the Zn content and to some extent on the morphology of the grains. As x was increased from 0 to 1, the average grain size monotonically increased from 7.6 to 21.2 μm and the microwave dielectric constant (ɛ'r) increased from 23.6 to 26.1, while the quality factors ( Q u× f ) increased from 18 900 to 103 730 GHz and the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (τf) increased from −62 to −73 ppm/°C. In the present work, we report the highest observed values of Q u× f =103 730 GHz, and ɛ'r=26.1 for the ZnNb2O6-sintered ceramics.  相似文献
