业务规则是定义和约束企业业务结构与业务行为的规定或规范,是企业业务运作和管理决策所依赖的重要资源。当前,面向服务的计算变得越来越流行,Web services已经成为集成互联网上分布和异构应用程序的通用技术。使用Web服务合成语言BPEL可以将不同服务提供者提供的服务整合成新的服务。然而,这种基于流程的合成语言缺乏在合成过程中使用由不同的业务规则引擎管理的业务规则的能力。因此提出了一种将业务规则与BPEL集成的方法。  相似文献

Semantically enabled service-oriented architecture focused on principles of service orientation, semantic modeling, intelligent and automated integration defines grounds for a cutting-edge technology which enables new means to integration of services, more adaptive to changes in business requirements which occur over systems’ lifetime. We define the architecture starting from a global perspective and through Web service modeling ontology as its semantic service model we narrow down to its services, processes and technology we use for the reference implementation. On a B2B integration scenario we demonstrate several aspects of the architecture and further describe the evaluation of the implementation according to a community-agreed standard evaluation methodology for semantic-based systems.  相似文献

Web services can be defined as loosely coupled, reusable software components that semantically encapsulate discrete functionality and are distributed and programmatically accessible over standard Internet protocols. Web services have received a lot of hype, the reasons for which are not easily determined. Some of their benefits might even seem to waste away, once we touch on the nitty-gritty details, because Web services per se do not offer a solution to underlying problems. The contributions included in this section delve into some of these issues, including: pitfalls of workflow issues; structuring procedural knowledge into problem-solving methods; discussing how a low initial entry barrier and simple technology are balanced against the long-term goal of easy integration; including semantics in a Web service modeling framework; and building on new kinds of applications such as grid enterprises.  相似文献

The Internet and related technologies have seen tremendous growth in distributed applications such as medicine, education, e-commerce, and digital libraries. As demand increases for online content and integrated, automated services, various applications employ Web services technology for document exchange among data repositories. Web services provide a mechanism to expose data and functionality using standard protocols, and hence to integrate many features that enhance Web applications. XML, a well-established text format, is playing an increasingly important role in supporting Web services. XML separates data from style and format definition and allows uniform representation, interchange, sharing, and dissemination of information content over the Internet. XML and Web services provide a simplified application integration framework that drives demand for models that support secure information interchange. Providing document security in XML-based Web services requires access control models that offer specific capabilities. Our XML-based access control specification language addresses a new set of challenges that traditional security models do not address.  相似文献

Despite the promise, Web services present network administrators with a thorny problem: as network security becomes an increasing concern, Web services open up networks by letting outside users access databases, applications, and internal users. Traditional security techniques - such as virtual private networks or secure sockets layer (SSL) technology - cannot secure the large number of transactions that Web services can perform in a short time. Meanwhile, basic Web services transactions are unencrypted and unsecured, which creates the potential for disaster. It is thus important for Web services technology to have its own security mechanisms. In fact, industry observers have said the biggest obstacle to wider adoption of Web services has been security concerns. Web services have attracted significant industry interest as a low-cost and flexible technology alternative to distributed object and proprietary message-oriented methods for delivery of on-demand business processes, enabling intra-organizational systems integration, and in the long term, development of dynamic inter-organizational process networks that may revolutionize B2C and B2B e-commerce. Exploiting this latent potential of web services technology requires the development of automated techniques for scalable and reliable service composition and execution in web service platforms. In this paper, we summarize our experience in developing an architectural framework for web services platforms, called Integrated Service Planning and Execution architecture (ISP & E). The use of recent advances in AI planning, learning and semantic web technologies for service composition, reliable service execution, transaction synthesis, and model-driven deployment of services is discussed. Web services technology is critical for the success of business integration and other application fields such as bioinformatics. However, there are two challenges facing the practicality of Web services: (a) efficient location of the Web service registries that contain the requested Web services and (b) efficient retrieval of the requested services from these registries with high quality of service (QoS). The main reason for this problem is that current Web services technology is not semantic-oriented. Several proposals have been made to add semantics to Web services to facilitate discovery and composition of relevant Web services. Such proposals are being referred to as semantic Web services (SWS). However, most of these proposals do not address the second problem of retrieval of web services with high QoS. In this paper, we propose a framework called soft semantic Web services agent (soft SWS agent) for providing high QoS Semantic Web services using soft computing methodology. Since different application domains have different requirement for QoS, it is impractical to use classical mathematical modeling methods to evaluate the QoS of semantic Web services. We use fuzzy neural networks with Genetic Algorithms (GA) as our study case. Simulation results show that the soft computing methodology is practicable to handle fuzzy and uncertain QoS metrics effectively.  相似文献

AJAX (asynchronous JavaScript and XML) is a powerful Web development model for browser-based Web applications. While Web services essentially are universally accessible software components deployed on the Web and designed to support interoperable machine-to-machine interaction over a network. Because technologies that support both AJAX and Web services are XML-based, the two can leverage each others' strengths. More and more companies and organizations are taking advantage of this relationship, working to improve their Web applications through AJAX and Web services. Our system integrates the two for Web-based cooperative image editing. For message exchange delays and browser security limitations have hampered Web-based cooperative image editing. Partner Relationship Management (PRM) is an information strategy that employs a set of applications focused on directly impacting an enterprise and its business partners' sales and services. Web services employ a distributed computing architecture that consists of many different computers that communicate over the Internet to form one system. the communication standards and protocols used in Web services are universally accepted. These Web services can be requested by client applications: Web based, windows, or mobile devices. Web services promise the interoperability of various applications running on heterogeneous platforms over the Internet, and are gaining more and more attention. Web service composition refers to the process of combining Web services to provide value-added services, which has received much interest in supporting enterprize application integration. Industry standards for Web Service composition, such as WSBPEL, provide the notation and additional control mechanisms for the execution of business processes in Web service collaborations. However, these standards do not provide support for checking interesting properties related to Web Service and process behavior. In an attempt to fill this gap, we describe a formalization of WSBPEL business processes, that adds communications semantics to the specifications of interacting Web services, and uses a formal logic to model their dynamic behavior, which enables their formal analysis and the inference of relevant properties of the systems being built.  相似文献
