A method for determining glaze penetration was developed and the effect of glaze penetration on glaze fit studied. The effects of twenty-four fluxes on penetration of a base glaze into semivitreous, hotel china, terra cotta, cordierite, pyrophyllite, wall tile, and steatite bodies were determined. The result shows that glaze penetration affects glaze fit and that penetration varies greatly, depending on glaze composition and the character of the body. 相似文献

Inkjet technology has become very popular in recent years and is nowadays widely used for decorating ceramic products. This has led to in-depth study of the operating principles and process variables involved. These notably influence the properties of the deposited ink layers, as do the physicochemical properties of the applied inks and of the glazes on which the inks are deposited. The problems associated with these factors are further heightened when inks with complex formulations designed to obtain special effects and specific surface properties are used. This study examines the characteristics of the interface that developed on applying an ink on a certain type of glaze, as well as the surface properties of the final product. The relationship of the amount of ink applied per unit area and the particle size distribution (PSD) of the glaze on which it was deposited to ink penetration into the glaze layer was also investigated. The resulting microstructures were observed by SEM, while the variation of glaze layer composition with distance to the surface was determined by SEM-EDS. The results obtained were successfully correlated with the porous texture of the unfired glaze (determined by SEM and mercury porosimetry) and with unfired glaze PSD. 相似文献

Different amounts of ink, made up almost entirely of a frit that devitrified abundant small crystals of anorthoclase, were applied by inkjet printing onto a traditional unfired glaze substrate. The rheological properties of the ink and porous texture of the unfired glaze substrate were characterized. The fired coatings were analyzed by SEM–EDX to determine the elemental composition at different surface depths, and their microstructure was observed. The results confirmed the validity of the ink penetration model, developed in a previous study, for describing the composition profile in inkjet coatings as a function of the applied amount of ink and pore size and volume in the unfired glaze substrate relative to average ink particle size. Microhardness and indentation modulus of the fired glaze substrate without an ink application and of the fired ink-containing coatings were determined. The values of these properties were verified to fit a Weibull distribution function. The coatings containing an ink application at 400 and 600 dots per inch (dpi), respectively, displayed the best mechanical behavior. The study confirmed that inkjet printing a suspension with appropriate physico-chemical characteristics onto an unfired glaze substrate substantially improved the aesthetic characteristics and mechanical properties of the resulting fired coating. 相似文献

以实例说明如何在高渗乳油制剂研制中应用均匀设计和偏最小二乘回归法。以制剂不含渗透剂与含有渗透剂时的润湿时间差值(Y1)、渗透时间差值(Y1)作为试验指标,以20%三唑磷高渗乳油配方研制为例.应用均匀设计法设计试验方案,对试验结果采用偏最小二乘回归法,以因变量最大值为优化方向,同时对两个试验指标进行回归建模,得到Y1与各渗透剂含量回归模型及Y1与各渗透剂含量回归模型,模型拟合的决定系数R^2分别为0.9883、0.9978。最优目标函数值Y1、Y2分别为176.21s、137.18s,实测值分别为176.10s、137.11s。 相似文献
