The data acquisition and remote real-time display system for the neutral beam injectors (NBI) on experimental advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST) are described in this paper. Distributed computer systems including local data acquisition (DAQ) facility, remote data server (DS), real-time display terminal are adopted with Linux and Windows operating system. Experimental signals are gathered by DAQ device at local working field. On the one hand, these gathered data will be sent to DS which runs on remote server main control layer on EAST NBI control network for saving and processing; on the other hand, these data will be sent to real-time display terminal which runs on remote monitoring layer on EAST NBI for displaying and monitoring experimental signals real-timely. Another point needs to be mentioned is that the real-time display software can call back historical data from DS for querying. The software of data acquisition and DS are programmed by C language while the real-time display software is programmed by Labview flow chart. The hardware mainly includes DAQ cards, server, industrial personal computer and others auxiliary hardware. Now the system proved to be performed well through experiments on NBI testing bed.  相似文献

A set of data processing software is presented in this paper for processing NBI spectroscopic data.For better and more scientific managment and querying these data,they are managed uniformly by the NBI data server.The data processing software offers the functions of uploading beam spectral original and analytic data to the data server manually and automatically,querying and downloading all the NBI data,as well as dealing with local LZO data.The set software is composed of a server program and a client program.The server software is programmed in C/C++under a CentOS development environment.The client software is developed under a VC6.0 platform,which offers convenient operational human interfaces.The network communications between the server and the client are based on TCP.With the help of this set software,the NBI spectroscopic analysis system realizes the unattended automatic operation,and the clear interface also makes it much more convenient to offer beam intensity distribution data and beam power data to operators for operation decision-making.  相似文献

Neutral Beam Injector (NBI) is one of the main plasma heating and plasma current driving methods for Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokomaks. In order to monitor the NBI experiment, control all the power supply, realize data acquisition and network, the control system is designed. As an important part of NBI control system, timing system (TS) provides a unified clock for all subsystems of NBI. TS controls the input/output services of digital signals and analog signals. It sends feedback message to the control server which is the function of alarm and interlock protection. The TS software runs on a Windows system and uses Labview language code while using client/server mode, multithreading and cyclic redundancy check technology. The experimental results have proved that TS provides a stability and reliability clock to the subsystems of NBI and contributed to the safety of the whole NBI system.  相似文献

To verify the rationality of experimental configurations before each experiment discharge of Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) Neutral Beam Injection (NBI) and to query the experimental configurations under historical shot numbers, an experimental configuration query terminal is needed during NBI experiments. In this paper, the experimental configuration query software is presented which is realized with multithreading technology, TCP protocol, Mysql database and so on. Multithreading technology achieves that different service requests can be dealt by different threads for improving the processing efficiency of the program. TCP protocol ensures reliable network communication between the server and the client. The configurations set by experimental operators are saved to Mysql database of the server with different data tables. The server works under Linux operating system while the client works on Windows operating system. With the help of this application, the current and historical experimental configurations are displayed and queried, thus on the one hand, the current experimental configurations especially the settings of timing sequence and amplitude for NBI each power supply system are verified before each NBI discharge; on the other hand, the typical history configurations can be queried for experimental reproducibility. This application is very practical significance for EAST NBI experiments.  相似文献

Neutral beam injection (NBI) heating is one of the most efficient auxiliary plasma heating methods for fusion devices. The data acquisition control system (DACS) with PXI (pe- ripheral component interconnect extensions for instrumentation) data acquisition card for the first NBI system in the experimental advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST) is presented in this paper. As an important sub-system, DACS is designed to obtain physical measurement signals in the EAST NBI system and to deal and store these data with the Lempel-Ziv-Oberhumer (LZO) lossless data compression algorithm, as well as offer convenient data call-back and access inter- faces to the user for examining and analyzing the data. Experimental results show that accurate data will ensure that researchers correctly analyze it and then properly adjust the experimental parameters or operation, so DACS should take a large step in improving experimental efficiency. Tile hardware and software sections are briefly presented in this paper, and now this system has been tested to be able to work reliably and steadily.  相似文献

To ensure the uniqueness and recognition of data and make it easy to analyze and process the data of all subsystems of the neutral beam injector (NBI), it is required that all subsystems have a unified system time. In this paper, the timing synchronization software is presented which is related to many kinds of technologies, such as shared memory, multithreading, TCP protocol and so on. Shared memory helps the server save the information of clients and system time, multithreading can deal with different clients with different threads, the server works under Linux operating system, the client works under Linux operating system and Windows operating system. With the help of this design, synchronization of all subsystems can be achieved in less than one second, and this accuracy is enough for the NBI system and the reliability of data is thus ensured.  相似文献

The control system of neutral beam injector (NBI) monitors the status of NBI equipments, controls all of the power supply, realizes data acquisition and network, and provides a unified clock for all subsystems of NBI system. As an important part of NBI control system, waveform generator (WG) monitors the parameters of the experiment and displays these parameters in the waveform terminal. The WG software also can send simple experiment commands and make it easy for experiment test. The WG software develops under Windows operating system, using labview language. In order to supervise the elements of the neutral beam injector (NBI) spatially located at several places, a distributed NBI data acquisition system (NBIDAS) on experimental advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST) is developed in this paper. NBIDAS consists of field instrument and measurement devices, servers and remote data processing terminals. In order to remotely manage and monitor the field devices of the NBI system, a device management client software is also developed as the human–machine interfaces between the field devices and remote system administrators. A control signal acquisition system is developed for diagnosing these generated analog and digital signals from the NBI control system. NBIDAS based on network technologies is capable of extending system functions and upgrading devices. The detail of the architecture and implementation of the NBIDAS on EAST is discussed in the paper.  相似文献

As the center of neutral beam injector (NBI) control system, main control server controls the whole NBI system’s input and output services, and it verifies whether the experimental parameters are reasonable, stores the real-time data, monitors the statuses of the experimental equipments in real time and makes it easy to perform self-protection and alarm automatically. Long pulse and high performance steady-state operation is the main scientific mission of experimental advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST). In order to achieve this objective, high-power auxiliary heating systems are essential. Radio frequency (RF) wave heating and neutral beam injection (NBI) are two principal methods. NBI is an effective method of plasma heating and current drive, and it has been used in many magnetic confinement fusion devices. Based on the plasma equilibrium of EAST (Li et al., Plasma Phys Control Fusion 55:125008, 2013) plus previous EAST experimental data used as initial conditions, the NBI module (Polevoi et al., JAERI-Data, 1997) employed in automated system for transport analysis (ASTRA) code (Pereverzev et al., IPP-Report, 2002) is applied to predict the effects of plasma heating and current drive with different neutral beam injection power levels. At certain levels of plasma densities and plasma current densities, the simulation results show that the NBI heats plasma effectively, also increases the proportions of NB current and bootstrap current among total current significantly.  相似文献

Neutral Beam Injection(NBI) is one of the most effective means for plasma heating.Experimental Data Publishing Software(EDPS) is developed to publish experimental data to get the NBI system under remote monitoring.In this paper,the architecture and implementation of EDPS including the design of the communication module and web page display module are presented.EDPS is developed based on the Browser/Server(B/S) model,and works under the Linux operating system.Using the data source and communication mechanism of the NBI Control System(NBICS),EDPS publishes experimental data on the Internet.  相似文献

As the key ion source component of nuclear fusion auxiliary heating devices, the radio frequency(RF) ion source is developed and applied gradually to offer a source plasma with the advantages of ease of control and high reliability. In addition, it easily achieves long-pulse steady-state operation. During the process of the development and testing of the RF ion source, a lot of original experimental data will be generated. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a stable and reliable computer data acquisition and processing application system for realizing the functions of data acquisition, storage, access, and real-time monitoring. In this paper, the development of a data acquisition and processing application system for the RF ion source is presented. The hardware platform is based on the PXI system and the software is programmed on the Lab VIEW development environment. The key technologies that are used for the implementation of this software programming mainly include the long-pulse data acquisition technology, multithreading processing technology, transmission control communication protocol, and the Lempel–Ziv–Oberhumer data compression algorithm. Now, this design has been tested and applied on the RF ion source. The test results show that it can work reliably and steadily. With the help of this design, the stable plasma discharge data of the RF ion source are collected,stored, accessed, and monitored in real-time. It is shown that it has a very practical application significance for the RF experiments.  相似文献

A data service system plays an indispensable role in HT-7 Tokamak experiment. Since the former system doesn't provide the function of timely data procession and analysis, and all client software are based on Windows, it can't fulfill virtual fusion laboratory for remote researchers. Therefore, a new system which is simplified by three kinds of data servers and one data analysis and visualization software tool has been developed. The data servers include a data acquisition server based on file system, an MDSplus server used as the central repository for analysis data, and a web server. Users who prefer the convenience of application that can be run in a Web Browser can easily access the experiment data without knowing X-Windows. In order to adjust instruments to control experiment the operators need to plot data duly as soon as they are gathered. To satisfy their requirement, an upgraded data analysis and visualization software GT-7 is developed. It not only makes 2D data visualization more efficient, but also it can be capable of processing, analyzing and displaying interactive 2D and 3D graph of raw. analyzed data by the format of ASCII, LZO and MDSplus.  相似文献

Neutral Beam Injection control system (NBICS) is constructed to measure the plasma current, Magnet current, vacuum pressure, cryopump temperature, control water cooling, filament voltage, and power supply, etc. The NBICS, consisting mainly of a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) subsystem, data acquisition and processing subsystem and cryopump and vacuum pressure monitoring subsystem, has successfully been used on a NBI device. In this article, the design of NBICS on HT-7 is discussed and each subsystem is described in particular.In addition, some experimental results are reported which are very important data for further research related to the HT-7 tokamak.  相似文献

A distributed control system of Neutral Beam Injector(NBI) on the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak(EAST-NBI) is briefly presented in this paper.The control system is developed in accordance with the experimental operational characteristics of the EASTNBI.The NBI control system(NBICS),which is based on the computer network technologies and classified according to the control levels,consists of three levels:a remote monitoring layer,a server control layer,and a field control layer.The 3-layer architecture is capable of extending the system functions and upgrading devices.The timing system provides the reference clock of the synchronization and interlock for the EAST-NBI system.An interlock system ensures the safety of the experiment operators and field devices.Both of the ion sources of the beamline are designed to operate independently.This lays an important foundation for developing a control system for the second beamline on EAST.Experimental results demonstrate that the NBICS meets functional requirements of the EAST-NBI control,and makes experimental operations visual and automatic.  相似文献

Both neutral beam injection(NBI) and electron cyclotron resonance heating(ECRH) have been applied on the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak(EAST)in the 2015 campaign. In order to achieve more effective heating and current drive, the effects of NBI on the heating and current drive with electron cyclotron wave(ECW) are analyzed utilizing the code TORAY and experimental data in the shot #54411 and #54417. According to the experimental and simulated results, for the heating with ECW, NBI can improve the heating efficiency and move the power deposition place towards the inside of the plasma. On the other hand, for the electron cyclotron current drive(ECCD), NBI can also improve the efficiency of ECCD and move the place of ECCD inward. These results will be valuable for the center heating, the achievement of fully non-inductive current drive operation and the suppression of magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) instabilities with ECW on EAST or ITER with many auxiliary heating methods.  相似文献

中性束注入器(Neutral Beam Injector,NBI)是东方超环(Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak,EAST)核聚变实验装置辅助加热的重要组成部分。目前NBI离子源引出系统采用四电极结构,即加速电极、梯度电极、抑制电极和地电极。抑制极电源是为其中的抑制电极提供负电位的高压直流电源。根据抑制极电源输出特性的要求,输出端采用串联绝缘栅双极型晶体管(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor,IGBT)作为调制开关。为研究IGBT串联技术对均压效果和抑制极电源输出特性的影响,采用PSpice软件对IGBT开关进行了建模,并进行了不同电路参数下的仿真。仿真表明:一定条件下,电阻电容二极管(Resistance Capacitance Diode,RCD)缓冲电路中电容参数对动态均压效果和电源关断特性具有决定性影响,缓冲电阻影响电容的放电时间及放电电流峰值。最后给出了相应的实验测试结果。该研究结果可以明确缓冲电路参数与均压效果以及抑制极电源开关特性之间的定量关系,为抑制极电源开关特性的进一步优化及其与加速极电源的特性匹配提供数据指导,对于NBI离子源的安全稳定运行具有重要意义。  相似文献

离子源是中性束注入器(Neutral Beam Injector,NBI)的关键子系统之一,根据射频离子源的实验和运行需求,本文设计了一套基于物理实验与工业控制系统(Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System,EPICS)架构的控制程序,实现对射频离子源实验和调试过程的远程监控功能。NBI射频离子源控制程序通过集成开发平台(Control System Studio,CSS)的交互界面开发模块(Best OPI Yet,BOY)实现友好的人机交互界面,使用Jython实现界面逻辑,支持服务器/客户端和EPICS两种通信架构。程序已经上线近半年,实验表明,射频离子源控制程序具备了放电模式设置、时序幅值设置、设备状态实时监控、采集数据实时波形显示等功能,满足了射频离子源实验的远程控制和数据可视化的需求。  相似文献
