Synchrotron radiation (SR) represents a unique and innovative anti-cancer treatment due to its unique physical features, including high flux density, and tunable and collimated radiation generation. The aim of this work is to assess the dosimetric properties of SR in Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) for potential applications to clinical radiation oncology. The experiments were performed with 34 and 50 keV X-rays on the BL13W biomedical beamline of SSRF and the 6 MV X-rays from ARTISTE linac for the dosimetry study. The percentage depth dose (PDD) and the surface dose of the SR X-rays and the 6 MV photon beams were performed in solid water phantom with Gafchromic EBT3 films. All curves are normalized to the maximum calculated dose. The depth of full dose buildup is about l0 gm deeper for the monoenergetic X-ray beams of 34 and 50 keV. The beam transmits through the phantom, with a linear attenuation coefficient. The profile in the horizontal plane shows that the dose distribution is uniform within the facula, while the vertical profile shows a Gaussian distribution of the dose. The pemlmbra is less than 0.2 mm in the horizontal profile. Gafchromic EBT film may be a useful and convenient tool for dose measurement and quality control for the high space and density resolution. It is therefore important to gain a thorough understanding about the physical features of SR before this novel technology can be applied to clinical practice.  相似文献

With the spatial coherence of X-rays and high flux and brightness of the 3rd generation synchrotron radiation facility, X-ray phase contrast microscopy (XPCM) at Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) can provide high resolution dynamic imaging of low electron density materials in principle. In this paper, we investigated the cavitation and water-refilling processes in rice and bamboo leaves utilizing XPCM at SSRF. The occurrence of xylem cavitation was recorded in vivo. The study also revealed that under different dehydration conditions, cavitation occurs in different degrees, and therefore, the refilling process is different. The results demonstrate that SSRF can provide high enough fluxes to study dynamic processes in plants in real-time, and XPCM is expected to be a promising method to reveal the mechanisms of cavitation and its repair in plants nondestructively.  相似文献

含砷化合物有高毒性,一直是全球性的公共卫生难题。许多微生物能利用S-腺苷甲基转移酶(ArsM酶)催化有剧毒的无机As(Ⅲ)发生甲基化而解毒。为揭示酶促反应的真实机制,我们将来源于沼泽红假单胞菌(Rhodopseudanonas palustris)的ArsM酶(RpArsM)重组表达、纯化及结晶。在上海光源BL17U1线站收集蛋白晶体衍射数据,初步晶体学分析表明,RpArsM酶的晶体属于P212121空间群,晶胞参数分别是a=45.92,b=66.58,c=147.82,α=β=γ=90°,衍射分辨率达2.0。  相似文献

Beamline BL17 U1 at Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility is an energy-tunable macromolecular crystallography beamline that has been in user operation since 2009. Growing demand from the user community for a small beam and related experimental methods have motivated upgrades of the devices in the endstation.Minibeam modes have already been developed for operation. A self-integrated diffractometer reduces the sphere of confusion of the rotatory axis to 1μm. The new diffractometer is equipped with an upgraded on-axis viewing system that can improve the resolving power. Additionally,the area detector was also upgraded to the newest generation of detectors, the EIGER X 16 M, which can collect data at 133 Hz. After these upgrades, the endstation became virtually new. This paper covers the upgrade of the endstation devices and gives the first data collection results.  相似文献

Amino-type adsorbents(ATAs) were prepared by radiation-induced graft copolymerization of 4-hydroxybutyl acry late glycidyl ether(HB) onto a polyethylene-coated polypropylene(PE/PP) duplex fiber of a non-woven fabric,and modified with different amines of ethylenediamine(EDA),diethylenetriamine(DETA),triethylenetetramine(TETA) and diethylamine(DEA).The adsorption behavior of uranyl ions onto the ATAs was studied in batch experiments.The effects of the contact time,initial concentration of the ions,temperature,and pH value.The salinity were investigated along with the adsorption kinetics and the adsorption isotherms.The kinetic experimental data followed the pseudo second-order kinetic model,and the adsorption isotherms correlated well with the Langmuir model.The ATAs showed good efficiency in adsorbing uranyl ions,with the best saturation adsorption capacity being 64.26 mg g~(-1) for ATA-DETA within 120 min.The temperature dependence of ATADETA was quite abnormal and the quickest behavior was obtained at 25 ℃.ATAs showed good adsorption capacity over a wide pH range of 4.0-8.5,and HCl could be used in the elution process.Salinity of the solution had great effect on the adsorption capacity,3.5%salinity resulted in a 55%loss of capacity from ATA-DETA.The selectivity of ATA-DETA showed an order of:UO_2~(2+)≈Fe~(3+) Zn~(2+) VO_3~- Co~(2+) Ni~(2+).  相似文献

In the storage ring RF system of Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility, the clock distribution and the local oscillator are two parts of the digital low level radio frequency hardware board. In this paper, we designed and produced the clock distribution and the local oscillator board using the AD9858 and AD9510 chips. The results show that the phase noise of the local oscillator signal is lower than 100dBc/Hz with 50 kHz offset.  相似文献

Based on the high-energy-resolution fluorescence spectrometer on the BL14W1 beamline at Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility,an in-situ high-energyresolution X-ray absorption spectroscopy technique,with an in-situ heating cell,was developed.The high-energyresolution fluorescence detection for X-ray absorption near-edge spectroscopy (HERFD-XANES) was tested in a UO2 oxidation experiment to measure the U L3-edge,with higher signal-to-noise ratio and higher-energy-resolution than conventional XANES.The technique has potential application for in-situ study of uranium-based materials.  相似文献

The Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) is a low emittance third-generation synchrotron radiation light source under commissioning.The excitation curve calibration for the booster magnets is important to provide the magnet current configurations as reference.Calibration studies give the polynomial coefficients of each type of magnets and provide the magnet current configurations under different beam energies as beam is ramped at speed of 2 Hz.The applications of calibration in booster commissioning which show the accuracy of the magnetic excitation curve calibration are also discussed.  相似文献

<正>In this paper,short pulse radiation in Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF)is generated by the low momentum compaction factor(α_C)optics,and three kinds of the low-α_C optics are found,with the very lowα_C being adopted by reducing dispersion in the straight section to negative value in the SSRF.Energy acceptance is selected as objective functions in nonlinear optimization rather than the second orderα_C or other nonlinear driving terms.The optimal result is improved step-by-step by randomly setting harmonic sextupole strengths.Two optics modes,i.e.low positiveα_C and low negativeα_C,are analyzed.In order to get a large energy acceptance and only one stable point in longitudinal phase space,the low negativeα_C optics is taken as an operation mode for the short pulse radiation in the SSRF.  相似文献
