Theoretical studies on liquid crystal filled photonic crystal fiber(LC-PCF)are presented.The eects of electric birefringence of liquid crystal(LC)in the LC-PCF and the transmitting properties of photonic crystal fiber(PCF)are investigated by using the full vector plane wave expansion and beam propagation method.The simulation results show that the electrically controlled LC-PCF can act as not only a terahertz(THz)switch with about 0.55 THz bandwidth,but also a tunable polarization controller for changing the polarization state of the fundamental mode.  相似文献

Lane of parallel through carry in ternary optical adder   总被引:7,自引:0,他引:7  
At the present 50 to 100 microseconds are necessary for a liquid crystal to change its state from opacity to clarity; 1.14×10-5 microseconds are however proved to be enough for light to pass through a clarity liquid crystal device. Rooted from this great difference in time, an optical adder was constructed with parallel through carry lanes (PTCL) composed of liquid crystals. Because all carries in PTCL process in parallel, the carry delay in the ternary optical computer's adder is avoided. Eliminating the carry delay in adder of ternary optical computer by physical means, the PTCL is also applicable for other types of optical adders. Moreover a light diagram of the adder and one PTCL structure are provided.  相似文献

A novel silicon light emitting diode(LED) display array has been fabricated using 0.35 μm standard CMOS technology.In this array,an LED and static random access memory(SRAM) are integrated together in a special layout.The SRAM in each pixel can store the state of the pixel and ensure that the pixel remains lit without persistent flashing.As a result,the control logic is perfectly integrated on the same wafer.Two power sources are used to drive the display array because the LEDs operate at high voltage(supply voltage of 9 V),and the current of the whole display array is about 30-60 mA to display common characters.The display circuit includes digital control logic circuits and SRAM,and requires a supply voltage of 3.3 V.The area of a single pixel is 40×40 μm 2,the area of the whole 16×16 LED array is 1 mm 2,and the display density is 630 dpi.  相似文献

In a supermarket refrigeration, the temperature in a display case, surprisingly, influences the temperature in other display cases. This leads to a synchronous operation of all display cases, in which the expansion valves in the display cases turn on and off at exactly the same time. This behavior increases both the energy consumption and the wear of components. Besides this practical importance, from the theoretical point of view, synchronization, likewise stability, Zeno phenomenon, and chaos, is an interesting dynamical phenomenon. The study of synchronization in the supermarket refrigeration systems is the subject matter of this work. For this purpose, we model it as a hybrid system, for which synchronization corresponds to a periodic trajectory.To examine whether it is stable, we transform the hybrid system to a single dynamical system defined on a torus. Consequently,we apply a Poincar ′e map to determine whether this periodic trajectory is asymptotically stable. To illustrate, this procedure is applied for a refrigeration system with two display-cases.  相似文献

For virtually realizing the graphic realism display of DXF machine parts, in AutoCAD2007 graphic drawing environment, an interactive experimental method was taken to realize the display of graphic in DXF, which was taken as the data-exchanged interface and source. Based on depth analysis of DXF data structure, take one drawing of DXF lathe turning rotational part asthe test piece. By VC++6.0 programming, part's geometry information could be obtained. Through data processing, 3D data of the test piece could be generated, which is based on 2D data of DXF test piece. Then, OpenGL graphic processing technologies (light, material, texture, map, et al.) were applied on the 3D display of test piece from DXF files or program modules. Finally based on the test report, results of the system functions were shared to prove the realization of system design, and the feasibility of algorithms used. In the developed software, Machine Designers could get a full view of machine parts, and do some proper modifications. The study content and results of our work have some theory and practical significance on the application of program design in the practical projects.  相似文献

Thermal resistance was composed by thermal resistance of Aluminum substrate,thermal resistance of convective heat transfer and the thermal resistance of the cooling liquid.The change rule was studied through the calculation on Aluminum plate thermal resistance,thermal resistance of convective heat transfer and the thermal resistance of the cooling liquid.Its change regularity was simulated by toolbox In the MATLAB,and it was found that thermal resistance of convective heat transfer effect on the efficiency was most obvious in a certain amount of the heat and flow for thermal resistance of the Pin-fin radiator under the premise.The structural parameters of radiator were related to the size of thermal resistance.  相似文献

This paper proposes a human control model in teleoperation rendezvous on the basis of human information processing (perception, judgment, inference, decision and response). A predictive display model is introduced to provide the human operator with predictive information of relative motion. By use of this information, the longitudinal and lateral control models for the operator are presented based on phase plane control method and fuzzy control method, and human handling qualities are analyzed. The integration of these two models represents the human control model. Such a model can be used to simulate the control process of the human operator, which teleoperates the rendezvous with the aid of predictive display. Experiments with human in the loop are carried out based on the semi-Physical simulation system to verify this human control model. The results show that this human control model can emulate human operators' performance effectively, and provides an excellent way for the analysis, evaluation and design of the teleoperation rendezvous system.  相似文献

Measures relating word frequencies and expectations have been constantly of interest in Bioinfor-matics studies. With sequence data becoming massively available, exhaustive enumeration of such measures have become conceivable, and yet pose significant computational burden even when limited to words of bounded maximum length. In addition, the display of the huge tables possibly resulting from these counts poses practical problems of visualization and inference.VERBUMCULUS is a suite of software tools for the efficient and fast detection of over- or under-represented words in nucleotide sequences. The inner core of VERBUMCULUS rests on subtly interwoven properties of statistics, pattern matching and combinatorics on words, that enable one to limit drastically and a priori the set of over-or under-represented candidate words of all lengths in a given sequence, thereby rendering it more feasible both to detect and visualize such words in a fast and practically useful way. To solve the data persistence problem in the management system, this paper used the popular object-relational mapping framework Hibernate to achieve the persistence layer which in a medicines inventory management system. This paper described the advantages and principles of the Hibernate, and then showed the written work of the configuration files, mapping files, persistent classes, etc. Finally, the paper showed how to display the specific data information in the TableViewer based on the Eclipse RCP framework. It is observed that, operating the objects in the Hibernate framework is more flexible and efficient than using JDBC directly. Ad in addition, the application based on Eclipse RCP framework can take over many excellent features of Eclipse, and the developers can improve their efficiency by these features.  相似文献

Holographic display technology can reconstruct the same images of the original objects exactly, which has played a more and more important role and become the goal of the three‐dimensional display. As liquid crystal devices can modulate the polarization state of light, they have been widely used in the holographic display to modulate the phase and amplitude of information. Among them, liquid crystal spatial light modulator and liquid crystal lens are two important devices in the holographic diffraction. In this paper, several liquid crystal devices have been introduced and the holographic display technologies based on these liquid crystal devices have been discussed. The merits and demerits of these technologies based on the liquid crystal devices have been analyzed, and the outlook of the holographic display is given in the end.  相似文献

介绍了一种多功能、低功耗便携式射频读卡器的设计方法。该读卡器采用Ⅱ公司的低功耗微控制器MSP430F149作为主控芯片。结合射频基站芯片U2270B实现TEMIC系列射频卡的读写功能,并采用2560芯片和HT1621B芯片分别实现语音功能和数显功能。给出了各部分的硬件电路设计原理图,描述了各个功能的实现方法,并采用了多种方法以降低系统的功耗。该便携式读卡器具有体积小、存储容量大、读写速度快、扩展性好、功耗低等特点。已成功应用于停车场收费系统中。  相似文献

We have developed a 17‐inch laser backlight in‐plane switching liquid crystal display satisfying the main BT.2020 specifications, which are 8K, 120‐Hz driving, and a BT.2020 wide color gamut. The color gamut of the developed in‐plane switching liquid crystal display covers 98% of the BT.2020 wide color gamut, thanks to a laser backlight and appropriate color filters. The liquid crystal response time of 5 ms, which is sufficient for 120‐Hz driving, is achieved by adapting a faster in‐plane switching liquid crystal display, namely, the short‐range lurch control in‐plane switching liquid crystal display.  相似文献

A novel fast nematic liquid crystal mode is proposed. It relies on the fast relaxation flow from bend state to the twisted state in the optically compensated bend mode. Such new liquid crystal mode is indeed an improved mode from the optically compensated bend mode as it does not require any holding voltage. The new liquid crystal mode has fast response time and high contrast. The proposed fast liquid crystal mode is a good candidate for applications, such as optical shutter, field sequential color display, and 3D display.  相似文献

Abstract— In this paper, we present results from a new liquid crystal over plastic printed thin‐film‐transistor (TFT) display. The display demonstrator shows that the processing incompatibilities between the plastic TFT backplane and the liquid‐crystal materials can be addressed to make a stable twisted‐nematic structure. New fabrication processes such as the photo‐alignment of liquid crystals have made it possible to create a new generation of displays, which pave the way towards fully integrated plastic liquid‐crystal‐display technologies.  相似文献

We demonstrated that polymer stabilization can significantly improve the response time of in‐plane‐switching liquid crystal display. We carried out a systematic study of the effect of polymer networks on the performance of in‐plane‐switching liquid crystal display. The polymer network has a strong aligning effect on the liquid crystal and has the advantage of reducing the switching time of the display but may have the disadvantage of ruining the contrast ratio because of its scattering effect. Through optimization, we successfully improve the switching time (less than 6 ms) and reduce the scattering and thus retain high contrast ratio (higher than 1000:1).  相似文献
