在刚结束的“国际先进塑胶科技会议”上,德国IKV技术研究所塑胶成型技术部主管亨德里希·韦尔博士表示,塑胶注塑成型工业是一个技术主导的行业,一家公司要维持本身的竞争优势,开发新产品和减低生产成本是不二法门。他指出,由于新产品、新技术的开发成本太高,开发时间太长,加上开发成果没有保障,导致许多公司只考虑在生产及开发过程中节省成本所能获得的短期经济效益,而忽略了在开发过程中采用更系统的方法。事实上,开发新的生产技术及物料,除可改善生产过程中的成本和减低产品开发成本外,更重要的是可以开拓新市场及产品。1塑料加工技术发…  相似文献

新产品、新技术的开发非常重要,尤其是对于塑料工业企业,新产品和新技术的开发是保持企业核心竞争力的关键所在。然而,在今天信息爆炸的时代,在新产品和新技术的开发过程中,如何有效地寻找全面、权威、可靠、可信的科技文献,并从中提取和发掘有价值、有创新的研究方法和技术路线,形成自己独有的产品和技术开发思路并非易事。事实上,这是很困难和很艰苦的一项工作,但其意义重大。首先,高效、有序地开展这项工作可以缩短新产品和新技术的开发周期,节省研发投入;其次,系统、深入的文献调研可以清醒地判断自己的研发是否具有国际竞争力;最后,全面、深入的技术信息分析可以确保未来产品直达目标市场。  相似文献

This study derives a new mathematical model aimed to consider virtual design and manufacturing procedures for developing highly competitive, complex geometry composite products for various engineering applications. The fiber‐reinforced polymer (FRP) composite industry faces several critical issues right from selection (of product, process, equipment, tooling, materials) to manufacturing the final products by meeting several design criteria and customer requirements. An attempt has been made in this article to identify different subsystems and other constituents of five main systems–resin system, reinforcement system, process equipment, tooling system, and product design of total composite product system. Intermediate processes, alternative designs, process sequence, technological changes, chemical reactions, and other performance affecting parameters have been discussed. Graph theoretical models, variable permanent adjacency matrix models, and permanent functions of these systems based on graph theory–matrix algebra–permanent function methodology are developed. Analytical tests for structural analysis of composite product system are derived to select optimum constituents in each of these five systems of composite product. Coefficient of similarity and dissimilarity are useful aid to take right decision between alternative solutions. Permanent function is a unique representation and to be used by composite industry for coding, evaluation, comparison, ranking, and optimum selection. Structural models are useful for basic understanding of complete composite product system, leading to right decisions for manufacturing and business strategies. Step‐by‐step procedure is developed to assist composite industry to implement the proposed method in a right way. Usefulness of the proposed methodology to composite industry is also presented. Automotive surface coating manufacturing is one of the most sophisticated and expensive steps in automotive assembly. This step involves generating multiple thin layers of polymeric coatings on the vehicle surface through paint spray and curing in a multistage, dynamically changing environment. Traditionally, the quality control is solely post-process inspection based, and process operational adjustment is only experience based, thus the manufacturing may not be (highly) sustainable. In this article, a multiscale system modeling and analysis methodology is introduced for achieving a sustainable application of polymeric materials through paint spray and film curing in automotive surface coating manufacturing. By this methodology, the correlations among paint material, application processes and coating performance can be identified. The model-based analysis allows a comprehensive and deep study of the dynamic behaviors of the material, process, and product in a wide spectrum of length and time. Case studies illustrate the efficacy of the methodology for sustainable manufacturing.  相似文献

Opportunities and challenges in the petrochemical industry and the emergence of massive disruptive technologies have triggered a new revolution that has the power to fundamentally change industrial processes including manufacturing, engineering, materials, supply chains, lifecycle management. Recently, the newly arisen smart factory adopted a disruptive manufacturing methodology and has become a key part of the petrochemical industry. The smart factory, which is different from the original production systems used in the petrochemical industry, needs to assess and position its future research agenda including its definition, intension, framework, and technology. Systems thinking and systems problem solving for the smart factory must be prioritized. Based on an analysis of the driving force for smart factory development, this paper proposes a lifecycle blueprint and consensus-based operating and technology roadmap. The definition and features of a smart factory in the petrochemical industry are presented. Furthermore, a summary of the technical systems and future-proof research field of the smart petrochemical factory from an academic and industrial viewpoint is presented.  相似文献

Production simulation is an established method in the discrete manufacturing industry and became common in the process industry in recent years. This method can be employed for performance measurements and capacity assessments of manufacturing, material and information flow processes. Applications include for example bottleneck analysis, assessment of investment decisions and the solving of sequencing problems. The paper gives a brief summary of the history of the method and describes the most significant basics. Beside a general overview on existing process industry activities the different kinds of applications of production simulation at Degussa AG are explained. The paper finishes with cost‐benefit reflections and perspectives on further simulation activities at Degussa AG.  相似文献

In this contribution, we present a novel methodology for flexible design of industrial systems based on their detailed differential value analysis. Evolving from graph theory, this methodology devises a mechanism for systematic structural decomposition of large-scale industrial systems into basic processing elements (paths and trees), combination of elements into subsystems and evaluation of individual elements/subsystems to correlate with the overall system margin. This helps to reduce the size of the large combinatorial problems and comprehensively analyse the multiple objectives and the sets of optimal operating states, capital investments and marginal contributions at elemental/subsystems levels that are critical for flexible designs. The approach generates the whole set of optimal solutions compared to the one point solution of the deterministic approaches (MINLP) while allowing additional complexity of process level models in the site-wide integration due to the systematic structural decomposition of a system into its basic elements/subsystems. A recent industrial application on oil upgrading system design is used to illustrate the methodology.  相似文献

A sustainable design of production systems, both within and beyond company boundaries, is essential for the future viability of the process industry. In this context, the concept of ultra-efficiency has recently been developed, aiming at achieving holistic improvements in the fields of action energy and material efficiency, emission reduction, organization, human and staff, with the goal of establishing a positive impact factory. In this paper, the concept developed mainly for the discrete manufacturing industry is transferred to the process industry. It is put into the scientific sub context and elementary approaches, methods and strategies for factory planning and design of production processes in the process industry are summarized.  相似文献
