This paper deals with the development of a neuro-fuzzy controller for a wind–diesel system composed of a stall regulated wind turbine with an induction generator connected to an ac bus-bar in parallel with a diesel generator set having a synchronous generator. A gasifier is capable of converting tons of wood chips per day into a gaseous fuel that is fed into a diesel engine. The controller inputs are the engine speed error and its derivative for the governor part of the controller, and the voltage error and its derivative for the automatic voltage regulator. These are readily measurable quantities leading to a simple controller which can be easily implemented. It is shown that by tuning the fuzzy logic controllers, optimal time domain performance of the autonomous wind–diesel system can be achieved in a wide range of operating conditions compared to fixed-parameter fuzzy logic controllers and PID controllers.  相似文献

This work is concerned with the development of an adaptive fuzzy logic controller for a wind-diesel system composed of a stall regulated wind turbine with an induction generator connected to an AC busbar in parallel with a diesel generator set having a synchronous generator. In this work we propose to use an adaptive network based inference system (ANFIS) in order to generate fuzzy membership functions and control rules for the controller. A feedback linearized proportional integral controller is used to provide the required expert knowledge. A controller design process is identified; it consists of generating input-output data pairs to identify the control variables range and initial fuzzy memberships, and then to tune or adapt them using an ANFIS network structure. The controller inputs are the frequency error and its integral for the governor part of the controller, and the voltage and frequency errors for the automatic voltage regulator. These are readily measurable quantities leading to a simple controller which can be easily implemented  相似文献

A hybrid fuzzy controller for speed control of switched reluctance motor (SRM) drives is presented in this paper. The developed hybrid fuzzy control law consists of a proportional integral (PI) controller at steady state, a PI type fuzzy logic controller (FLC) at transient state and a simple logic controller between the steady and transient states to achieve the desired performance at various operating conditions under soft chopping operation. The importance of the hybrid fuzzy controller is highlighted by comparing the performance of various control approaches, including PI control, PI type fuzzy logic control and PD type fuzzy control for speed control of SRM motor drives. The complete control algorithm is demonstrated by intensive experimental results. It is shown that the presented hybrid controller for SRM drive has fast tracking capability, less steady state error and is robust to load disturbance. The complete speed control scheme of the SRM drive incorporating the hybrid control is experimentally implemented and validated using a high speed digital signal processor board TMS320F2812 for a prototype 1.2 kW SRM.  相似文献

柴-柴联合动力装置(CODAD)是一种符合国情的推进装置。在建立单调速器法负荷控制器的数学模型后,利用仿真应用软件Matlab/Simulink将其转化为仿真模型,并进行仿真研究。仿真结果表明:单调速器法可以很好地解决柴油机双机并车运行过程中的关键性问题———负荷合理分配问题,保证了双柴油机运行时(稳态或动态过程)柴油机输出转速的稳定性和负荷分配的合理性。  相似文献

为了更好研究柴油机动态调速工作过程,在实验的基础上,采用MATLAB/simulink仿真平台和FuzzyLogic Toolbox工具箱建立柴油机准线性控制模型,采用增量型PID和自适应模糊PID对此模型进行控制仿真,分析油门突变和负荷突变时不同控制算法对转速稳定性的控制效果,综合各自算法的优缺点指导了实际控制软件的编写。发动机台架实验测试结果表明,发动机稳态调速率小于2.5%,符合各类常规动力设备的调速要求,并实现对LR6105Q型柴油机的全程调速和两极调速的功能,达到了与发动机匹配主机的动力特性要求。  相似文献

This paper presents an on-line fuzzy optimization of the global efficiency of a photovoltaic water pumping system driven by a separately excited DC motor (DCM), a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), or an induction motor (IM), coupled to a centrifugal pump.The fuzzy optimization procedure stated above, which aims to the maximization of the global efficiency, will lead consequently to maximize the drive speed and the water discharge rate of the coupled centrifugal pump. The proposed solution is based on a judicious fuzzy adjustment of a chopper ratio which adapts on-line the load impedance to the photovoltaic generator (PVG). Simulation results show the effectiveness of the drive system for both transient and steady state operations. Hence it is suitable to use this fuzzy logic procedure as a standard optimization algorithm for such photovoltaic water pumping drives.  相似文献

The use of the pressure signal for speed control of hydrogenerators is investigated. This is done by first analyzing and modeling the plant, assuming an isolated, resistive load. A set of governor gains that give an optimal response to a change in load level using speed feedback is then found. With this response as a benchmark, various methods are analyzed and implemented, utilizing the pressure signal, to improve the response of the system. A state-space observer, designed to attenuate noise on the pressure signal, is discussed. Results show that an observer-based controller using all states as input, as compared to a PID controller, improves the transient response of hydrogenerators, is effective at filtering out the noise on the pressure signal and is more robust to both steady-state pressure and plant parameter variations  相似文献

Design and analysis of a hydraulic turbine generator governor using optimal robust control methodology are presented. The approach is unique in the sense that the nonlinear characteristics of the turbine are first modelled as multiplicative uncertainties; and an optimal robust governor is designed by taking into account such uncertainties explicitly. The advantage of this approach is that the designed governor will guarantee the stability and the performance of the speed control loop for the entire turbine operating range. The performance of the new governor is shown to be superior to that of the conventional PID controller during large load disturbances. The resulting governor is only a third order. Hence, it has the same level of complexity as any other electrical-hydraulic governor in use today  相似文献

An integrated fuzzy logic controller is proposed in this paper for the generator excitation and speed governing control. The proposed controller has three control loops: the first one is the voltage control loop which has the function of automatic voltage regulator (AVR), the second one is the damping control loop which has the function of power system stabilizer (PSS), and the last one is the speed governing control loop which has the function of governor (GOV). A simple fuzzy logic control scheme is applied to all these three loops. The control scheme is simple enough so as not to require heavy computation for the controller, therefore, its real time application is feasible. The effectiveness is demonstrated through nonlinear simulations using a one machine infinite bus system. Comparison studies are also performed to show the advantages of the proposed controller with conventional excitation and speed governing control systems  相似文献

This paper aims to define a control and management strategy for water pumping system which would be powered by a hybrid PV/diesel generator system with battery storage. The particularity of the proposed power management method is to ensure the water volume in need and to maximize the use of PV generator while limiting the use of the diesel generator. In order to capture the maximum power from PV generator, a fuzzy logic maximum power point tracking controller is applied. On the other hand, a PI regulator is used with a boost converter in order to adapt the voltage of the battery bank to the DC bus. The water flow of the pump is also controlled. The developed power management and control strategy has been implemented using SIMPOWER toolbox in Matlab/Simulink. The obtained satisfying simulation results prove the efficiency of the proposed solution that assures continuous supply of water and electricity.  相似文献

Power system stabilizers (PSS) have been designed and installed [1,2] to improve the dynamic (smnall signal) response of multimachine systems. This paper presents the theory and test results for improving the transient (large disturbance) behaviour of a multimachine system by supplementing the conventional PSS with a transient power system stabilizer (TPSS). Each generator unit is fitted with a TPSS which, after computation, injects supplementary control signals into both the automatic voltage regulator (AVR) and speed governor control loops.  相似文献

The difference in dynamic behaviour of wind turbines connected to different size networks is analysed for synchronous and induction generators. Modal analysis has been applied to equivalent mechanical models of the wind turbine generator and the grid connection to show the difference in dynamics for a wind turbine generator connected to a large (interconnected) utility network or an (isolated) diesel micro-grid. Frequency domain analysis of these models has been used to quantify the effect of system parameters, such as enhanced drive train damping, diesel governor action and generator slip, on dynamic interaction. It has been shown that for wind turbines connected to a large grid an induction generator can reduce dynamic interaction. In contrast, for an isolated diesel micro-grid the diesel governor response and the compliance of the diesel generator dominate the system's dynamics, and the choice of either generator option for the wind turbine is dictated by other factors.  相似文献
