This paper deals with the estimation of the intensity of a planar point process on the basis of a single point pattern, observed in a rectangular window. If the model assumptions of stationarity and isotropy hold, the method of block bootstrapping can be used to estimate the intensity of the process with confidence bounds. The results of two variants of block bootstrapping are compared with a parametric approximation based on the assumption of a Gaussian distribution of the numbers of points in deterministic subwindows of the original pattern. The studies were performed on patterns obtained by simulation of well‐known point process models (Poisson process, two Matérn cluster processes, Matérn hardcore process, Strauss hardcore process). They were also performed on real histopathological data (point patterns of capillary profiles of 12 cases of prostatic cancer). The methods are presented as worked examples on two cases, where we illustrate their use as a check on stationarity (homogeneity) of a point process with respect to different fields of vision. The paper concludes with various methodological discussions and suggests possible extensions of the block bootstrap approach to other fields of spatial statistics.  相似文献

The inverse Gaussian process is recently introduced as an attractive and flexible stochastic process for degradation modeling. This process has been demonstrated as a valuable complement for models that are developed on the basis of the Wiener and gamma processes. We investigate the optimal design of the degradation tests on the basis of the inverse Gaussian process. In addition to an optimal design with pre-estimated planning values of model parameters, we also address the issue of uncertainty in the planning values by using the Bayesian method. An average pre-posterior variance of reliability is used as the optimization criterion. A trade-off between sample size and number of degradation observations is investigated in the degradation test planning. The effects of priors on the optimal designs and on the value of prior information are also investigated and quantified. The degradation test planning of a GaAs Laser device is performed to demonstrate the proposed method.  相似文献

基于统计学方法,Greenwood和Tripp(GT模型)提出双粗糙平面法向接触(双粗模型)可以等效为单粗糙平面与刚性平板之间的接触(单粗模型),但这种等效处理缺乏对接触应力场分析以及材料硬化的考虑。为进一步研究GT模型,基于高斯粗糙表面数字化表征,通过控制自相关长度和滤波方法,得到双粗糙平面及其等效单粗糙平面;借助有限元软件ABAQUS对2组模型法向接触进行建模及分析。结果表明:2组模型预测的接触刚度和接触面积符合较好,但接触压力与接触面积关系存在差异;2组模型预测的等效应力和接触压强的应力幅值以及云图的分布区域大致相近,但双粗模型由于存在大量微凸体侧接触,弱化接触状态以及材料硬化,因而应力幅值偏低。  相似文献

We present a pump-probe optical technique for measuring the thermal conductivity of liquids. The technique uses a reflective geometry which does not depend on the optical properties of the liquid and requires as little as a single droplet to produce a result. An analytical solution is given for bidirectional heat flow in layered media, including the effects of radial heat flow from coaxial Gaussian laser spots, thermal interface resistances, and the accumulation of multiple laser pulses. In addition, several experimental improvements over previous pump-probe configurations are described, resulting in an improved signal to noise ratio and smaller errors at long stage delay times. The technique is applied to a range of liquids and solids. Results are in good agreement with literature values.  相似文献

The consideration of the noise that affects 3D shape recovery is becoming very important for accurate shape reconstruction. In Shape from Focus, when 2D image sequences are obtained, mechanical vibrations, referred as jitter noise, occur randomly along the z‐axis, in each step. To model the noise for real world scenarios, this article uses Lévy distribution for noise profile modeling. Next, focus curves acquired by one of focus measure operators are modeled as Gaussian function to consider the effects of the jitter noise. Finally, since conventional Kalman filter provides good output under Gaussian noise only, a modified Kalman filter, as proposed method, is used to remove the jitter noise. Experiments are carried out using synthetic and real objects to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

Most statistical contact analyses assume that surface heights and peak (summit) height distributions follow a Gaussian distribution. However, engineering surfaces are frequently non-Gaussian with a degree of non-Gaussian character dependent upon materials and surface finishing processes used. For example, magnetic rigid disk surfaces used in magnetic storage industry are highly non Gaussian. The use of a Gaussian analysis in such cases can lead to erroneous results. This study for the first time presents a method to carry out a statistical analysis of non-Gaussian surfaces. Real area of contact, number of contacts, contact pressure and meniscus force (in wet interfaces) are calculated for probability density functions having different skewness and kurtosis. From these curves, the optimum value of skewness and kurtosis can be predicted for minimum static/kinetic friction. It is found that a range of positive skewness (between 0.3–0.7) and a high kurtosis (greater than five) significantly lower the real area of contact and meniscus contribution implying low friction and wear. Also, sensitivity of film thickness to static friction goes down for a surface with a positive skewness and a high kurtosis.  相似文献

Recently we complemented the raster image correlation spectroscopy (RICS) method of analysing raster images via estimation of the image correlation function with the method single particle raster image analysis (SPRIA). In SPRIA, individual particles are identified and the diffusion coefficient of each particle is estimated by a maximum likelihood method. In this paper, we extend the SPRIA method to analyse mixtures of particles with a finite set of diffusion coefficients in a homogeneous medium. In examples with simulated and experimental data with two and three different diffusion coefficients, we show that SPRIA gives accurate estimates of the diffusion coefficients and their proportions. A simple technique for finding the number of different diffusion coefficients is also suggested. Further, we study the use of RICS for mixtures with two different diffusion coefficents and investigate, by plotting level curves of the correlation function, how large the quotient between diffusion coefficients needs to be in order to allow discrimination between models with one and two diffusion coefficients. We also describe a minor correction (compared to published papers) of the RICS autocorrelation function.  相似文献

Different deconvolution methods for removing multiple scattering and instrumental broadening from core loss electron energy loss spectra are compared with special attention to the artefacts they introduce. The Gaussian modifier method, Wiener filter, maximum entropy, and model based methods are described. Their performance is compared on virtual spectra where the true single scattering distribution is known. A test on experimental spectra confirms the good performance of model based deconvolution in comparison to maximum entropy methods and shows the advantage of knowing the estimated error bars from a single spectrum acquisition.  相似文献

钢轨踏面上的疲劳裂纹严重影响着列车行车安全。 针对如何快速有效地检测出踏面斜裂纹的问题,本文提出了一种快 速检测钢轨踏面裂纹的方法。 首先分别建立了含高斯白噪声、正弦信号加高斯白噪声干扰的数学模型,分析了编码脉冲压缩、 同步挤压小波变换和先同步挤压小波变换后脉冲压缩共 3 种信号处理方法的噪音抑制效果。 其次,为了验证上述方法对噪音 的抑制能力,使用激励频率为 1 MHz 的表面波电磁超声换能器对含裂纹的钢轨踏面进行检测。 最后,以检测得到裂纹的超声 回波为研究对象,比较了希尔伯特黄方法处理单一频率脉冲对应的超声回波信号和先同步挤压后脉冲压缩方法对应的降噪能 力和超声成像效果。 实验结果表明:本文所提方法可以获得钢轨踏面裂纹的位置信息及其数量。 希尔伯特黄变换在处理无同 步平均的原始超声回波时,由于回波信噪比低,经验模态分解(EMD)失效。 在以巴克码为激励信号且无同步平均采集的条件 下,先进行同步挤压小波变换后脉冲压缩处理,得到的超声回波信噪比相较于只采用相位编码脉冲压缩提高了 6. 82 dB,相比于 只做同步挤压小波变换提高了 11. 02 dB,能明显提升检测速度和 B 扫图像分辨率。  相似文献

针对传统的异常事件检测方法中手工提取的浅层特征无法统一表达不同场景的表观和运动信息问题,提出了一种基于卷积变分自编码器(Con VAE)的异常事件检测方法。首先构建了一个卷积变分自编码器网络,以视频帧序列作为网络输入,提取场景的深度特征;接着采用多变量高斯模型对在所有帧序列的深度特征图中位于同一位置的特征向量进行拟合,获得对应于原始输入中不同感受野的多变量高斯模型;对于测试样本的深度特征在其对应的高斯模型中的拟合程度,作为异常检测的判断标准。使用UCSD异常事件检测数据集对本文提出的方法进行实验验证,在帧级别与像素级别两种级别的度量标准中,本文算法分别取得了95.7%和69.9%的受试者工作特征曲线下面积值。  相似文献

Sensitivity analysis allows one to investigate how changes in input parameters to a system affect the output. When computational expense is a concern, metamodels such as Gaussian processes can offer considerable computational savings over Monte Carlo methods, albeit at the expense of introducing a data modelling problem. In particular, Gaussian processes assume a smooth, non-bifurcating response surface. This work highlights a recent extension to Gaussian processes which uses a decision tree to partition the input space into homogeneous regions, and then fits separate Gaussian processes to each region. In this way, bifurcations can be modelled at region boundaries and different regions can have different covariance properties. To test this method, both the treed and standard methods were applied to the bifurcating response of a Duffing oscillator and a bifurcating FE model of a heart valve. It was found that the treed Gaussian process provides a practical way of performing uncertainty and sensitivity analysis on large, potentially-bifurcating models, which cannot be dealt with by using a single GP, although an open problem remains how to manage bifurcation boundaries that are not parallel to coordinate axes.  相似文献

The current research of state of charge(SoC) online estimation of lithium-ion battery(LiB) in electric vehicles(EVs)mainly focuses on adopting or improving of battery models and estimation filters. However, little attention has been paid to the accuracy of various open circuit voltage(OCV) models for correcting the SoC with aid of the ampere-hour counting method. This paper presents a comprehensive comparison study on eighteen OCV models which cover the majority of models used in literature. The low-current OCV tests are conducted on the typical commercial LiFePO_4/graphite(LFP) and LiNiMnCoO_2/graphite(NMC) cells to obtain the experimental OCV-SoC curves at different ambient temperature and aging stages. With selected OCV and SoC points from experimental OCV-SoC curves, the parameters of each OCV model are determined by curve fitting toolbox of MATLAB 2013. Then the fitting OCV-SoC curves based on diversified OCV models are also obtained. The indicator of root-mean-square error(RMSE) between the experimental data and fitted data is selected to evaluate the adaptabilities of these OCV models for their main features, advantages,and limitations. The sensitivities of OCV models to ambient temperatures, aging stages, numbers of data points,and SoC regions are studied for both NMC and LFP cells. Furthermore, the influences of these models on SoC estimation are discussed. Through a comprehensive comparison and analysis on OCV models, some recommendations in selecting OCV models for both NMC and LFP cells are given.  相似文献

Single-phase induction motors are used in the industry commonly. Induction motors are not expensive, so it is a reason to use them. Diagnostics of faults is very important. It prevents financial loss and unplanned downtimes causes by faults. In this paper the authors described fault diagnostic techniques of the single-phase induction motor. Presented techniques were based on the analysis of thermal images of electric motor. The authors measured and analysed 3 states of the single-phase induction motor. In this paper an original method of the feature extraction of thermal images called MoASoS (Method of Area Selection of States) was presented. The proposed method - MoASoS and an image histogram were used to form feature vectors. Classification of the obtained vectors was performed by NN (Nearest Neighbour classifier) and Gaussian Mixture Models (GMM). The described fault diagnostic techniques are useful for reliability of the single-phase induction motors and other rotating electrical machines such as: three-phase induction motors, synchronous motors, DC motors.  相似文献

射频识别技术(Radio frequency identification, RFID)在制造过程跟踪中得到了广泛应用。目前RFID的应用研究仅适用于具体的场景,缺乏通用性的建模和形式化的描述方法。针对上述问题,提出一种基于RFID的过程跟踪形式化图式推演建模方法。通过对广义单工序活动进行多粒度分解,形成单工序作动时序单元模型;在此基础上,定义四种通用的RFID探测模式并建立图式状态block模型,构建图式描述的单工序RFID过程跟踪监控时序流;借助Gantt图分析广义单工序作动时序单元的“串联-并联-条件”连接,建立多工序RFID过程跟踪模型,为生产、物流、库存等的全过程跟踪提供依据。以机加工车间高价值刀具流转过程、Job-shop零件加工过程以及零件外协加工过程的跟踪三个应用场景为例,验证了该模型方法的可行性和通用性。  相似文献

To solve the problems of tool condition monitoring and prediction of remaining useful life, a method based on the Continuous Hidden Markov Model (CHMM) is presented. With milling as the research object, cutting force is taken as the monitoring signal, analyzed by wavelet packet theory to reduce noise and extract the energy feature of the signal as a basis for diagnosis. Then, CHMM is used to diagnose tool wear state. Finally, a Gaussian regression model is proposed to predict the milling tool’s remaining useful life after the test sample data are verified to be consistent with the Gaussian distribution based on a reliable identification of the milling tool wear state. The probability models of tool remaining useful life prediction could be established for tools with different initial states. For example, when an unknown state of milling force signal is delivered to the milling tool online diagnostic system, the state and the existing time of this state could be predicted by the established prediction model, and then, the average remaining useful life from the present state to the tool failure state could be obtained by analyzing the transfer time between each state in the CHMM. Compared to the traditional probabilistic model, which requires a large amount of test samples, the experimental cost is effectively reduced by applying the proposed method. The results from the experiment indicate that CHMM for tool condition monitoring has high sensitivity, requires less training samples and time, and produces results quickly. The method using the Gaussian process to accurately predict remaining life has ample potential for application to real situations.  相似文献

A recently developed method based on matrix analysis for the removal of plural scattering from angle-resolved energy loss spectra is tested. A single loss function, Lorentzian in the energy and Gaussian in the angular variable is assumed as input for the test. Multiple scattering probabilities are simulated by summing up n-fold self-convolutions of the input function according to the Poisson distribution for incoherent n-fold scattering. The simulated profile serves as input for the retrieval algorithm, the result of which is compared with the original single-loss probability. It is concluded that the method is feasible, but not likely to be suited for routine investigations.  相似文献

Controlled density techniques for the photographic evaluation of fractional fringe orders in isochromatic patterns of two-dimensional models or of slices from stress-frozen three-dimensional models normally require calibration by separate models or slices. Where these are not available, certain self-calibrating methods may yield comparative results such as stress concentration factors. The paper describes three purely graphical methods and a method requiring conventional compensation for only a single point or along a single line in the isochromatic pattern of the model or slice in the polariscope. Examples of application and practical indications are given. The methods described can be applied to a large variety of techniques based on observation of periodic phenomena by optical interference methods.  相似文献

提出基于力密度方法的统一求解策略,实现NURBS曲线和曲面的精确变形.将控制网格类比为空间索网结构,分别建立外载荷变化最小、外载荷最小、杆阻尼长度最小和节点位移最小等四种表达不同几何和物理意义的最小化模型来驱动变形,并以控制顶点在变形前后的位移为变量,建立统一表达的目标函数方程,便于多个最小化模型组合使用,满足特定的变形需要.由于目标函数的二次性以及约束的线性化处理,优化问题可以通过Lagrange乘子法转化为线性问题进行求解.在计算中引入目标函数快速求解算法,使变形设计可以满足实时交互操作的需要.应用实例表明,该算法可以应用于细节特征设计和反求建模等复杂曲面造型.  相似文献

A genetic algorithm(GA)-based new method is designed to evaluate the circularity error of mechanical parts. The method uses the capability of nonlinear optimization of GA to search for the optimal solution of circularity error. The finely-designed GA (FDGA) characterized dynamical bisexual recombination and Gaussian mutation. The mathematical model of the nonlinear problem is given. The implementation details in FDGA are described such as the crossover or recombination mechanism which utilized a bisexual reproduction scheme and the elitist reservation method; and the adaptive mutation which used the Gaussian probability distribution to determine the values of the offspring produced by mutation mechanism. The examples are provided to verify the designed FDGA. The computation results indicate that the FDGA works very well in the field of form error evaluation such as circularity evaluation.  相似文献
