Control theory is the field that is deeply connected with mathematics. To control a physical process or a dynamical system, the control law, so-called control algorithm, is usually deduced in mathematical way. This leads a lot of control theorist to work on “pure control theory” and leave from the physical background. The gap between control theory and practice is sometimes pointed out by the engineers, since a lot of advanced control methods provided by the research community of control theory cannot be directly implemented for solving many industrial problems. Benchmark problem plays the role of bridge between the theoretical research and industrial practice. Usually, a benchmark problem is proposed by academic community or jointly with industrial community to highlight challenging issues in a focused problem with common interested practical background. For control problem, many technical committees of international federation of automatic control (IFAC) proposed a lot of benchmark problems in the past. These benchmark problems attracted attention from both of theorist and control practitioners, especially younger researchers and students, and pushed control theorist to challenge practical problem and innovation in industrial control technology. Ladies and Gentlemen: Good Morning! Replication Expo and Conference 2003 hold once each year finally open today. We say "finally", because of SARS and Iraq war this year, our Expo and conference 2003 delayed from August till today. But it did not affect holistic size and level of our Expo. According to our statistics, there are 107 exhibitors from 21 countries attending to the Expo and 24 presentations in our Conference. It is the largest size of Expo and conference in last five years. This special issue is to honor professor Tzyh-Jong Tarn for his 80 birthday. Prof. Tarn is a world outstanding expert in Systems and Control Theory, Robotics and Quantum Control, etc. He received the D.Sc. degree in control system engineering from Washington University at St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. He is at present a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Director of the Center for Robotics and Automation at Washington University. Dr. Tarn served as the President of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, the Director of IEEE Division X (Systems and Control), and a member of the IEEE Board of Directors. The Japan Foundation for the Promotion of Advanced Automation Technology presented him with the Best Research Article Award in March 1994. He also is a recipient of the Best Paper Award at the 1995 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems. Prof. Tarn has also made significant contribution to enhance the academic exchange between Chinese scholars and world systems science and automation society. This special issues contains 10 papers covering 1) Robot Control; 2) Quantum Control; 3) System Identification; 4) Advanced linear/Nonlinear Control Technique; and 5) Multi-agent Systems. Pragmatics plays an important role in correctly understanding sentences. Much useful information will be lost if the context in which a sentence is asserted is ignored. There are some approaches in logic to pragmatics, such as situation theories and context logics. Although these methods associate a sentence with a context or a situation, they consider only the truth value of the sentence. However, a sentence should have more meanings than its truth value, and people care more about what a sentence conveys. For the affection of contexts, the meaning of a sentence is not always its semantic meaning and a sentence may have different pragmatical implications in different contexts. In this paper, a context is considered as some structure in the real world. A sentence from some logical language is conceptualized as a concept, whose intent is a set of sentences implied semantically by the sentence, and whose extent is a set of contexts in which the sentence describes a part of the contexts. In terms of tools and theories of concepts, a strictly defined theory is given to study the pragmatics of sentences in contexts in information systems, which cannot be derived from the sentences by using logical reasoning methods.  相似文献

The SC2000 block cipher has a 128-bit block size and a user key of 128,192 or 256 bits,which employs a total of 6.5 rounds if a 128-bit user key is used.It is a CRYPTREC recommended e-government cipher in Japan.In this paper we address how to recover the user key from a few subkey bits of SC2000,and describe two 4.75-round differential characteristics with probability 2-126 of SC2000 and seventy-six 4.75-round differential characteristics with probability 2-127.Finally,we present a differential cryptanalysis attack on a 5-round reduced version of SC2000 when used with a 128-bit key;the attack requires 2-125.68 chosen plaintexts and has a time complexity of 2 125.75 5-round SC2000 encryptions.The attack does not threat the security of the full SC2000 cipher,but it suggests for the first time that the safety margin of SC2000 with a 128-bit key decreases below one and a half rounds.  相似文献

Nowadays, ethical norms are a real weapon and a method of a fair administrative system's investment, a strengthening of society's confidence towards public service function, a restraint of public servants' clash of benefits and interests, a prevention of corruption, a formation of psychologically healthy environment and finally a mean of establishing the democracy. Modem experience shows that the problem of the ethical norms' observance is emphasized at the present stage of social life in all the countries of the world, particularly in the public service system because public service is one of the most significant levers of the state for reaching the constitutional, legislative aims in the country and actualizing the state policy. In this article we revert to the importance and the results of not following the Ethical norms by the public servants. The purpose of this article is to suggest possible ways of solving the problems connected with Ethical observance. According to our surveys and views we have made some suggestions especially in those countries where the observance of the ethical norms is in a low level.  相似文献

This paper presents a tutorial-style review on the recent results about the disturbance observer (DOB) in view of robust stabilization and recovery of the nominal performance. The analysis is based on the case when the bandwidth of Q-filter is large, and it is explained in a pedagogical manner that, even in the presence of plant uncertainties and disturbances, the behavior of real uncertain plant can be made almost similar to that of disturbance-free nominal system both in the transient and in the steady-state. The conventional DOB is interpreted in a new perspective, and its restrictions and extensions are discussed.  相似文献

In order to design a hypersonic vehicle for a wide-ranged Mach number, a novel parallel vehicle for a wide-speed range has been proposed. In this paper, we employ a numerical method to investigate a parallel vehicle's aerodynamic performance and flow field characteristics. The obtained results show that the aerodynamic performance of the novel parallel vehicle is better than that of the waverider designed with a single Mach number for the wide-speed range. With the increase in Mach number, the lift-to-drag ratio of the novel parallel vehicle first increases and then decreases. When the Mach number is 7 and the angle of attack is 3°, the lift-to-drag ratio is the largest, and its value is 3.968. When the angle of attack is 3°, the lift-to-drag ratio is not lower than 3.786 in the range considered in the current study, and the novel parallel vehicle's aerodynamic performance is good. The wing changes the drag performance of the parallel vehicle remarkably, and results in the decrease of the lift-to-drag ratio. Meanwhile, the wing can enhance the pitching moment performance.  相似文献

The problem of counting the number of spanning trees is an old topic in graph theory with important applications to reliable network design. Usually, it is desirable to put forward a formula of the number of spanning trees for various graphs, which is not only interesting in its own right but also in practice. Since some large graphs can be composed of some existing smaller graphs by using the product of graphs, the number of spanning trees of such large graph is also closely related to that of the corresponding smaller ones. In this article, we establish a formula for the number of spanning trees in the lexicographic product of two graphs, in which one graph is an arbitrary graph G and the other is a complete multipartite graph. The results extend some of the previous work, which is closely related to the number of vertices and Lapalacian eigenvalues of smaller graphs only.  相似文献

Jade Bird, a lucky and divine bird in ancient Chinese mythology, is a message deliverer in the world of gods. She serves goddess Xi Wang Mu (Western Queen), bringing her commands and messages to other gods. With 3 feet, black eyes and red head, this beautiful bird is viewed as a lucky symbol in China. There are a lot of tales about her in the folklore and literature. This is why Jade Bird was chosen as the name of the largest project for research on software technology in China. Jade Bird (JB) project, started in 1983 in the period of the 6th State Five_year Plan, is a key Sci.&Tech. project of the State. It has lasted more than 15 years through the 7th, 8th, and 9th State Five_year Plan periods and is the only software project getting continual support from the government. More than 20 institutions, 300 researchers and developers are involved in the development of JB Project. Recently, lots of smoothing techniques have been presented for maneuvering target tracking. Interacting multiple model-probabilistic data association (IMM-PDA) fixed-lag smoothing algorithm provides an efficient solution to track a maneuvering target in a cluttered environment. Whereas, the smoothing lag of each model in a model set is a fixed constant in traditional algorithms. A new approach is developed in this paper. Although this method is still based on IMM-PDA approach to a state augmented system, it adopts different smoothing lag according to diverse degrees of complexity of each model. As a result, the application is more flexible and the computational load is reduced greatly. Some simulations were conducted to track a highly maneuvering target in a cluttered environment using two sensors. The results illustrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm over comparative schemes, both in accuracy of track estimation and the computational load.  相似文献

Path planning in 3D geometry space is used to find an optimal path in the restricted environment,according to a certain evaluation criteria.To solve the problem of long searching time and slow solving speed in 3D path planning,a modified ant colony optimization is proposed in this paper.Firstly,the grid method for environment modeling is adopted.Heuristic information is connected with the planning space.A semi-iterative global pheromone update mechanism is proposed.Secondly,the optimal ants mutate the paths to improve the diversity of the algorithm after a defined iterative number.Thirdly,co-evolutionary algorithm is used.Finally,the simulation result shows the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm in solving the problem of 3D pipe path planning.  相似文献

With the rapid increase of the short message service in China, the information query technology based on the Chinese natural language is becoming a research hotspot at present. An algorithm of the Chinese natural language understanding based on certain domain knowledge is proposed, and it is applied to a Chinese short message based information query system. The algorithm is divided into three interrelated parts: word segmentation, syntax analysis and construction of SQL command. The domain knowledge is introduced into the word segmentation part, which simplifies the Chinese semantic understanding. In the syntax analysis part, a syntax analysis technology is integrated with a semantic analysis technology by associating one symbol in grammar rule with an entity and a field of an application database. A syntax tree in the semantic database is constructed as a middle format of SQL transformation and a SQL command is formed by searching the syntax tree in priority of the depth of the syntax tree.  相似文献

This paper deals with the vector control, including both the direct vector control(DVC) and the indirect vector control(Id VC),of induction motors. It is well known that the estimation of rotor flux plays a fundamental role in the DVC and the estimation of rotor resistance is vital in the slip compensation of the Id VC. In these estimations, the precision is significantly affected by the motor resistances. Therefore, online estimation of motor resistances is indispensable in practice.For a fast estimation of motor resistances, it is necessary to slow down the convergence rate of the current estimate. On the other hand, for a fast estimation of the rotor flux, it is necessary to speed up its convergence rate. It is very difficult to realize such a trade-off in convergence rates in a full order observer.In this paper, we propose to decouple the current observer from the flux observer so as to realize independent convergence rates. Then, the resistance estimation algorithm is applied to both DVC and Id VC. In particular, in the application to Id VC the flux observer needs not be used, which leads to a simpler structure. Meanwhile, independent convergence rates of current observer and flux observer yield an improved performance. A superior performance in the torque and flux responses in both cases is verified by numerous simulations.  相似文献
