基于切屑的产生,介绍了切屑的处理方式,包括利用断屑槽方式控制切屑、改变刀具的几何角度、改变切削参数、加装断屑装置、应用激光位移传感器和利用低频震动断屑等。分析认为,切削加工中对切屑的管理是一个长期的课题,排屑的方式将随着科技的进步发展产生更多更新的切屑控制方法,但最终其目标在于保障设备运行的稳定性、高效性和安全性。 相似文献

高温合金广泛应用于航空航天领域,是一种典型的难加工材料,切削过程中切屑缠绕工件及刀具、不易折断,从而降低刀具寿命和已加工表面质量。PCBN是超硬刀具材料,加工高温合金等高温高强度钢性能优异,但由于刀具材料特性通常采用平前刀面,因此切削过程中断屑比较困难。高压冷却是金属高效切削加工中一种新型加工技术,可以有效改善断屑性能、提升断屑能力、提高刀具寿命和加工表面质量。目前对高压冷却断屑机理研究较少,且高压冷却切削仿真不易实现,为充分研究高压冷却下高温合金切削加工中的切屑折断机理,通过建立切屑卷曲半径预测模型和断屑模型,进行高压冷却下切屑折断机理研究,主要通过在高压冷却下,对PCBN刀具切削镍基高温合金进行试验研究,研究不同冷却液压力下切屑卷曲半径变化规律,对理论分析结果进行验证。研究结果表明:在高压冷却加工中由于高压冷却液的存在,切屑受到附加冷却液压力影响,使弯矩发生变化,造成切屑卷曲半径减小,最终导致切屑应变增大、切屑易于折断;且由于卷曲半径的改变使极限进给量和极限背吃刀量降低,使高压冷却加工改善断屑性能的效果非常明显。上述研究成果为实现高温合金高压冷却条件下的切削加工奠定了理论基础。 相似文献

针对微织构刀具加工过程中的衍生切削效应,利用正交微切削单元开展了微坑刀具及无织构刀具的钛合金微切削实验,从切屑底面形貌、微坑黏结状态等方面分析了微坑刀具微切削性能;通过ABAQUS软件对微织构刀具微切削钛合金过程进行有限元模拟,分析微坑织构的衍生切削作用对刀-屑接触应力分布及切削力的影响,优化设计微坑边缘过渡区参数并进行切削仿真分析。实验和仿真结果表明,微坑会减小前刀面黏结,存储微屑,减小刀-屑接触应力,提高刀具减摩性能;但微坑与切屑的衍生切削作用会增大瞬时切削力,降低切削过程平稳性。此外,微坑过渡区优化可改善切削过程波动,降低切削力,改变切屑形态,改善切屑在微坑的流入/流出状态,有助于减小微坑织构衍生切削效应,提高织构的减摩效果。 相似文献

The Johnson-Cook constitutive equation and Johnson-Cook damage model, which are appropriate for high-speed machining, are assumed for the workpiece material properties. Thermal effects in cutting are considered. The tool material is considered as rigid, but heat-conducting, with the properties of tool material H11. The calculated chip back-flow angle, curling radius and thickness are analyzed as three typical chip shape parameters. The effects of land length and second rake angle of the grooved tool on chip formation, cracking and temperature are discussed. 通过30CrNi3MoV淬硬钢的高速切削试验,观察和测量不同切削条件下切屑形态的演变过程、锯齿状切屑形成的临界切削条件、切削力.结果表明,切削速度和刀具前角是影响切屑形态和切削力的主要因素,随着切削速度的提高,在某一临界切削速度下,切屑形态由带状屑转变为锯齿状切屑,随着刀具前角由正前角逐渐变为负前角,临界切削速度明显减小,当锯齿状切屑形成时,切削力大幅度降低.使用金属切削过程中绝热剪切临界切削条件判据对锯齿状切屑形成临界切削速度预测的结果表明,锯齿状切屑形成的根本原因是主剪切区内发生周期性的绝热剪切断裂. 相似文献

应用激光粉末熔覆技术,在高速钢车刀的前刀面上制备出断屑台。通过切削实验,对比普通高速钢车刀和含激光熔覆断屑台车刀的断屑效果,观察激光粉末熔覆断屑台的金相组织和形貌,测试激光粉末熔覆断屑台的热膨胀系数、物相和显微硬度。研究结果表明:具有激光熔覆断屑台的高速钢车刀,在切削过程中能够减小切屑的卷曲半径,从而使切屑更容易折断,实现有效断屑。用M2/WC-12Co粉末制作激光熔覆断屑台,能够实现激光熔覆层与高速钢基体的良好冶金结合,熔覆层无熔覆裂纹缺陷,熔覆层的硬度与高速钢车刀基体相近。M2/WC-12Co激光熔覆粉末适于制作高速钢刀具的激光熔覆断屑台。 相似文献

Chip breakability plays an essential role in automated machining systems. This paper presents an experimental investigation of the effects of progressive tool wear and the resulting formation of the tool restricted contact on chip breakability in a turning operation. Six parameters of tool wear, namely, major flank wear (VB), crater wear depth (KT), crater wear length (KK), crater wear width (KB), wear retract of cutting edge (KS) and nose wear (N), are shown to contribute to the variations of chip breakability with tool wear progression. The results show that the chip breakability varies significantly with tool wear progression, especially with the combined crater and flank wear progression, and contributes to the development of a restricted rake face land, making the tool behave like a restricted contact grooved tool. The chip curling and breaking action is largely influenced by the nature and magnitude of the restricted contact and the groove profile being developed on the tool face. The results presented in this paper are also intended to provide guidelines for designing effective chip grooves on the tool face. 相似文献
