Abstract Water‐in‐CO2 (W/CO2) reverse microemulsions stabilized with 1100 Da poly(ethylene glycol)‐poly(propylene glycol)‐poly(ethylene glycol) block copolymer were recovered using an ultrafiltration ceramic membrane in a custom high‐pressure cross‐flow separation unit. Viscosity‐corrected liquid CO2 flux (298 K) through the membrane was investigated as a function of time and surfactant concentration to determine the cake layer mass transfer resistance. Rapid CO2 flux decline was observed with increasing surfactant concentration, denoting cake layer buildup on the membrane surface. For instance, at 0.09 and 0.55 wt% surfactant, the ratio of cake resistance to membrane resistance was 0.4 and 3.8, respectively. Based on our previous work, the reverse‐micelles retain their aqueous core and are not altered during filtration. Ultimately, inorganic membrane separations can reduce energy consumption associated with compression/expansion cycles typically used in CO2‐based processes. 相似文献

在以SB粉为原料,HNO3为解胶剂制得的稳定AlOOH溶胶中加入添加剂(PEG、PVA),对多孔陶瓷载体进行了表面涂层.考察了添加剂对AlOOH溶胶粘度的影响;BET法测定了AlOOH溶胶中加入添加剂后多孔陶瓷载体氧化铝涂层比表面积的变化;由SEM照片观察多孔陶瓷载体涂层前后表面和断面的形貌;超声波振荡检测了氧化铝涂层的附着牢固度.结果表明,在AlOOH溶胶中加入一定量的添加剂可以使溶胶的粘度增加,提高溶胶在载体表面的附着力;制备的多孔陶瓷载体氧化铝涂层均匀、牢固且比表面积增大.但加入过量的添加剂,会导致AlOOH溶胶胶凝化. 相似文献

Fe/Al2O3 ceramic coating was made by spraying and sol-gel. The corrosion resistance between Fe/Al2O3 ceramic coating and steel 45# was studied. By microscope and X-ray diffraction, the binding and the composition of the interface were also analyzed. The results showed that Fe/Al2O3 ceramic coating had dense struc- ture, less porosity and better binding with the substrate which was effective to prevent erosive liquor immersing into the inside of ceramic coating. Some substances that distributed homogeneously in Fe/Al2O3 ceramic coating, such as α-Al2O3, FeAlO3 and Fe3Al, could improve the corrosion resistance of this material. 相似文献

Composite membranes have attracted increasing attentions owing to their potential applications for CO2 separation. In this work, ceramic supported polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and poly (ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA) composite membranes were prepared. The microstructure and physicochemical properties of the compos- ite membranes were characterized. Preparation conditions were systematically optimized. The gas separation performance of the as-prepared membranes was studied by pure gas and binary gas permeation measurement of CO〉 N2 and H〉 Experiments showed that PDMS, as silicone rubber, exhibited larger permeance and lower separation factors. Conversely, PEGDA composite membrane presented smaller gas permeance but higher ideal selectivity for CO2/N2. Compared to the performance of those membranes using polymeric supports or freestanding membranes, the two kinds of ceramic supported composite membranes exhibited higher gas permeance and acceptable selectivity. Therefore, the ceramic supported composite membrane can be expected as a candidate for CO2 separation from light gases. 相似文献

Highly transparent Tm:YAG ceramic was fabricated by a solid-state reaction and vacuum sintering. The optical properties, the microstructure, and the laser performance of the Tm:YAG ceramic were investigated. A Tm:YAG ceramic with an average grain size of ∼10 μm was obtained by sintering at 1750°C for 10 h. The in-line transmittance was 84.0% at 2015 nm. The absorption coefficients at 681 and 785 nm were 8.23 and 3.27 cm−1 , respectively. The grain boundaries were clean and no secondary phase was observed. The 6 at.% Tm:YAG ceramic slab (1.2 mm × 5 mm × 6 mm) was end-pumped by a laser diode at 792 nm, and the maximum output power of 4.5 W was obtained with a slope efficiency of 20.5% at 2015 nm. 相似文献
