China Foundry Week 2013简

China Foundry Week 2013, co-organized by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society （CMES）, the Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society （FICMES） and the Productivity Promotion Center of Foundry Industry of China （PPCFIC）, was successfully held on November 2-5, at the Jinan Nanjiao Hotel. There were more than 600 attendees from home and abroad, including delegations from the Korea Foundry Society, Japan Foundry Engineering Society and Taiwan Foundry Society. The Taiwan Foundry Society attended China Foundry Week for the first time. Each delegation made technical presentations to exchange with delegates of mainland China. The event featured many activities, which not only made the content of this conference very rich, but the whole process all very wonderful, exciting, and unforgettable.     

The 16th ＂FOSECO Cup＂ Best Papers 2013

On August 8 to 10, 2014, the final evaluation stage of the 16th ＂FOSECO Cup＂ for excellent foundry papers （2013）, organized by the Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society （FICMES）, was carried out in Zhangjiajie city, Hunan province of China. As usual, the entries were those papers published in various journals including Foundry, China Foundry （English）, Special Casting ＆ Nonferrous Alloys, Modem Cast Iron, Foundry Technology, Foundry Equipment ＆ Technology, China Foundry Machinery ＆ Technology and Foundry Engineering, as well as those published in the proceedings of academic congress organized by FICMES, each of the technical committees of FICMES, or all the provincial or municipal foundry societies in the year of 2013.     

Announcement of evaluation result of the 15th ＂FOSECO Cup＂ excellent foundry papers （2012）

On July 29 to 31, 2013, the final evaluation stage of the 15th ＂FOSECO Cup＂ for excellent foundry papers （2012）, organized by Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society （FICMES）, was carried out in Lijiang city, Yunnan province of China. The 9th China International Diecasting Congress& The 1st International Symposium on Nonferrous Alloys and Special Casting Technologies held in Shanghai

The 9th China International Diecasting Congress and the 1st International Symposium on Nonferrous Alloys and Special Casting Technologies （ISNASCT） were successfully held in Shanghai on July 19-22, 2014. Both events were jointly sponsored by Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Die Casting Commission of World Foundry Organization and Non-Ferrous Materials Commission of World Foundry Organization, and organized by the Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society （FICMES） and China Productivity Promotion Center of Foundry Industry.

FICMES＇ Delegation Attended the 68th WFC

The 68th World Foundry Congress, sponsored by the World Foundrymen Organization （WFO）, and hosted by the Institute of Indian Foundrymen, was held on February 7-11, 2008 in Chennai, a southern city of India. A nine-member delegation of the Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society （FICMES）, led by the President Li Rongde, attended the congress.     

China Foundry Week 2014

China Foundry Week, hosted by the Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society （FICMES） each year, is a large academic event in China. It is one of the ten high-impact activities sponsored by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society.
