The effect of electromagnetic stirring on molten steel flow and heat transfer in a 260 mm× 300 mm bloom mold was investigated by using a method combining both finite element method and finite volume method. The simu lation results related to magnetic fields were consistent with the onsite measured data. The magnetic flux density in creased with increasing the current intensity but decreased with increasing the current frequency. Electromagnetic stirring caused molten steel to flow with rotation on a horizontal section and two sets of recirculation regions with opposite fellow directions in a longitudinal section formed. The maximum tangential velocity increased with increasing the current intensity and frequency. 在半固态加工技术中,电磁搅拌是最早应用于制备非枝晶浆料的方法之一,同时也是半固态触变压铸技术最早获得工业应用的重要技术基础之一。采用自行开发的电磁搅拌器,研究了多种不同电磁搅拌方式在不同工艺条件下,单独施加或复合施加对A357合金微观组织的影响。试验结果表明:单一施加旋转感应电磁搅拌时,浆料径向组织很不均匀;单一施加无芯感应电磁搅拌。当搅拌电流较小时,径向组织也不均匀,增大电流,浆料质量有明显改善;采用(旋转感应+无芯感应)复合电磁场进行复合电磁搅拌时,可在电流较小时获得满意的浆料质量。 相似文献

针对大方坯连铸机投产初期重轨钢连铸电磁搅拌冶金效果不明显的问题,开展了优化重轨钢连铸结晶器电磁搅拌工艺参数的现场试验,对比研究了电磁搅拌电流强度对重轨钢铸坯中心疏松、中心偏析、等轴晶率等内部质量的影响,制定了满足攀钢重轨钢连铸工艺要求的电磁搅拌工艺制度.生产应用表明,重轨钢连铸坯内部质量明显提高,铸坯中心区等轴晶率由18.8%增至36.2%,中心疏松≤1.5级,中心偏析≤1.0级,中心缩孔≤1.0级,中心碳偏析指数≤1.05,连铸坯轧成重轨的内部质量和力学性能能够满足350 km/h高速铁路用钢轨的要求. 相似文献

为改善攀钢2#大方坯连铸机结晶器电磁搅拌的冶金效果,开展了改进连铸结晶器电磁搅拌器结构的现场试验.通过增大连铸结晶器电磁搅拌器外径和高度,减小电磁搅拌器内径,增加电磁搅拌器线圈匝数,结晶器区域电磁感应强度由29.5 mT增至57.2 mT,铸坯中心疏松≤1.0级的比例由90.72%增至96.85%,铸坯无中心缩孔的比例由90.72%增至94.87%,无中心裂纹的比例由61.56%增至72.65%,铸坯中心碳偏析指数由1.10~1.16降至1.05~1.08. 相似文献

针对260 mm×300 mm大方坯结晶器,采用有限元和有限体积法相结合的方法研究了电磁搅拌对结晶器流场和液面波动的影响.磁场模拟结果与现场实测数据一致.电磁搅拌使结晶器内钢液在水平截面呈旋转流动,在纵截面上形成两对回流方向相反的环流区,最大切向速度随电流和频率的增加而增大,结晶器自由液面的波动随电流和频率的增加而加剧.对于260 mm×300 mm大方坯轴承钢连铸,合理的结晶器电磁搅拌电流和频率分别是300 A和3 Hz. 相似文献

利用ANSYS5.6软件对单侧线性电磁搅拌作用下钢液内的电磁场分布和流场分布进行了数值模拟,分析了搅拌器的结构参数对钢液流动状况的影响,结果表明,在搅拌器长度,线圈匝数及电流强度均相同的条件下,采用集中绕组的搅拌器所产生的电磁场最弱,而重叠绕组搅拌器和克兰姆绕组搅拌器的电磁利用率较高,所产生的磁场强度越大,钢液的流动速度和紊流动能均较大;此外,尽管磁轭不影响电磁场的分布趋势,但却显影响磁场强度的大小,所以,在数值模拟中应当考虑磁轭的存在,当搅拌器极距和其它参数一定时,增加搅拌器长度有利于扩大搅拌的作用范围,但对提高搅拌无明显效果,在搅拌器长度和其它参数一定的情况下,增大搅拌器的极距却不影响搅拌的作用范围,但却使搅拌强度明显提高。 相似文献

Basic fluid dynamic features of combined electromagnetic stirring, EMS, and gas stirring (EMGAS) have been studied in the present work. A transient and turbulent multiphase numerical flow model was built. Simulations of a real size ladle furnace were conducted for 7 cases, operating with and without combined stirring and varying the argon gas inlet plug position. The results of these simulations are compared considering melt velocity, melt turbulence, melt/slag‐interface turbulence and dispersion of gas bubbles. An experimental water model was also built to simulate the effects of combined stirring. The water model was numerically simulated and visual comparison of the gas plume shape and flow pattern in the numerical and in the experimental model was also done for 3 flow situations. The results show that EMGAS has a strong flexibility regarding the flow velocity, gas plume, stirring energy, mixing time, slag layer, etc. 相似文献
