This paper is concerned with the problem of the fault detection filter design for discrete‐time switched linear systems with average dwell‐time. The designed fault detection filters are also switched systems, which are assumed to be asynchronously switched with the original switched systems. Improved results on the weighted l2 performance and the H ? performance are first given, and the multiple Lyaounov‐like functions during matched period and unmatched period for the running time of one subsystem are used. By the aid of multiple Lyapunov‐like functions combined with Projection Lemma, the FD filters are designed such that the augmented systems under asynchronous switching are exponentially stable, and the residual signal generated by the filters achieves the weighted l2‐gain for disturbances and guarantees the H ? performance for faults. Sufficient conditions are formulated by linear matrix inequalities, and the filter gains are characterized in terms of the solution of a convex optimization problem. Finally, examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of robust fault detection for discrete‐time nonlinear impulsive switched systems. The fault detection filter is used as the residual generator, in which the filter parameters are dependant on the system mode. Attention is focused on designing the robust fault detection filter. The problem of robust fault detection is converted into an H‐filtering problem. A sufficient condition for the solvability of this problem is established by a convex optimization problem. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

Asynchronous switching between switched system and associated filter or controller frequently occurs in several applications. In this article, the fault detection problem for a class of switched nonlinear systems with asynchronous switching is addressed. To model the switched system behaviour under asynchronous switching, two working modes are adopted to facilitate the studies on the issue. Then, based on average dwell time approach, a fault detection filter is developed via solving LMIs. Furthermore, it is proved that the fault detection problem under synchronous switching is only a particular case of our results for asynchronous switching. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of proposed results.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of the fault detection (FD) for continuous-time singular switched linear systems with multiple time-varying delay. In this paper, the actuator fault is considered. Besides, the systems faults and unknown disturbances are assumed in known frequency domains. Some finite frequency performance indices are initially introduced to design the switched FD filters which ensure that the filtering augmented systems under switching signal with average dwell time are exponentially admissible and guarantee the fault input sensitivity and disturbance robustness. By developing generalised Kalman–Yakubovic–Popov lemma and using Parseval's theorem and Fourier transform, finite frequency delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the existence of such a filter which can guarantee the finite-frequency H? and H performance are derived and formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Four examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed finite frequency method.  相似文献

In this paper, the L1 filtering problem is studied for continuous‐time switched positive linear systems (SPLSs) with a small delay existing in the switching of the filter and the subsystem. Unlike the existing literature concerned with asynchronous problems of SPLSs, the synchronous and asynchronous filters will be designed separately, which implies less conservative results. By introducing a class of clock‐dependent Lyapunov function (CDLF), which jumps down when the modes of the filter or the subsystem change and may increase or decrease during the asynchronous interval, clock‐dependent sufficient conditions characterizing a nonweighted L1‐gain performance of the filter error systems are established. Then, based on the L1 analysis results, a pair of error‐bounding filters are designed to estimate the outputs of SPLSs. The filter gains can be obtained by solving a set of linear programming. Finally, two numerical examples are presented to show the effectiveness and advantages of the results.  相似文献

The exponential H filtering problem of discrete‐time switched state‐delay systems under asynchronous switching is considered in this paper. The objective is to design a full‐order or reduced‐order switched filter guaranteeing the exponential stability with the weighted H performance of the filtering error system. A sufficient condition for the exponential stability with the weighted H performance of the filtering error system is provided based on delay‐dependent multiple Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functionals. The gains of the filter can be obtained by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. A numerical example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed results.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of fault detection (FD) for discrete-time networked systems with global Lipschitz conditions and imperfect measurements. By using Bernoulli stochastic variables and a switching signal, a unified model is proposed to describe four kinds of imperfect measurements, that is, access constraints, time delays, packet dropouts, and signal quantization. We aim to design a fault detection filter (FDF) such that, for all external disturbances and imperfect measurements, the error between the residual and fault is made as small as possible. The addressed FD problem is then converted into an auxiliary H filtering problem for discrete-time stochastic switched systems with multiple time-varying delays. By applying Lyapunov-Krasovskii approach, a sufficient condition for the existence of the FDF is derived in terms of certain linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). When these LMIs are feasible, the explicit expression of the desired FDF can also be characterized. A numerical example is exploited to show the effectiveness of the results obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of fault detection filter design is dealt with for a class of switched positive systems with packet dropouts on the channel between the sensors and the filters. The phenomena of packet dropouts are governed by a Bernoulli process, and a stochastic switched positive system is established based on the augmented states of the plants and filters. Two criteria are developed to evaluate the performance of the fault detection for the system under investigation. Sufficient conditions are established on the existence of the desired filters for the mean‐square stability with an L1 disturbance attenuation level, and an index for the L? fault sensitivity is also derived through constructing a switched Lyapunov function in term of linear programming. Two illustrative examples, one of which is concerned with the Leslie matrix model, are provided to show the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed results. In this paper, the robust fault detection filter design problem for linear time invariant (LTI) systems with unknown inputs and modeling uncertainties is studied. The basic idea of our study is to formulate the robust fault detection filter design as a H model-matching problem. A solution of the optimal problem is then presented via a linear matrix inequality (LMI) formulation. The main results include the formulation of robust fault detection filter design problems, the derivation of a sufficient condition for the existence of a robust fault detection filter and construction of a robust fault detection filter based on the iterative of LMI algorithm.  相似文献

This article is concerned with the problem of fault detection and isolation (FDI) for discrete-time switched linear systems based on the average dwell-time method. The proposed FDI framework consists of a bank of FDI filters, which are divided into N groups for N subsystems. The FDI filters belonging to one group correspond to the faults for a subsystem, and generate a residual signal to guarantee the fault sensitivity performance for the subsystem, the fault attenuation performance for other subsystems and the disturbance attenuation performance for all subsystems. Different form employing the weighting matrices to restrict the frequency ranges of faults for each subsystem, the finite-frequency H ? performance for switched systems is first defined. Sufficient conditions are established by linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), and the filter gains are characterised in terms of the solution of a convex optimisation problem. Two examples are used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.  相似文献

In this paper, the event-triggered filtering problem for continuous-time switched linear systems with overlapped mismatching intervals is investigated. The mismatching interval is the time period when the filter and the subsystem are asynchronous. It is assumed that only the sampled information of system state and switching signal is available to the H filter at each sampling instant. Due to the overlaps between the mismatching intervals, multiple switches are allowed during the adjacent sampling instants. Under this assumption, asynchronous time could be much longer than the modal dwell time (MDT). By constructing a time-dependent quadratic piecewise Lyapunov function, a new globally uniformly exponentially stability (GUES) result under MDT criteria is obtained, and the analysis of the weighted H filter is given. Moreover, the design method for the parameters of the filter and the eventtrigger are formulated and solved in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMI). Finally, a numerical example at the end of this paper is proposed to illustrate the effectiveness and improvement of the proposed approach.

In this paper, the H fault detection problem is investigated for a class of discrete-time stochastic systems with both channel fadings and randomly occurring nonlinearities. Due to Doppler effect and multi-path delays, channel fadings are inevitable and also cause unpredictable dynamic behaviour. The Lth Rice fadings model, which is accounted for both channel fadings and time delays, can be employed to describe this phenomenon. Meanwhile, by using a Bernoulli distributed white sequence, a kind of non-linear disturbance appearing in a random way is also considered in the H fault detection issue. The purpose of the addressed problem is to design a fault detection filter such that, in the presence of channel fadings, the overall fault detection dynamics is stochastically stable and, at the same time, the error between the residual (generated by the fault detection filter) and the fault signal is made as small as possible. By utilising the Lyapunov stability theory associated with the intensive stochastic analysis techniques, sufficient conditions are established under which the addressed H fault detection problem is recast as solving a convex optimisation problem via the semi-definite programme method. Finally, a simulation example is exploited to show the effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper.  相似文献

The problem of fault detection for a class of nonlinear impulsive switched systems is investigated in this paper. Fault detection filters are designed such that the augmented systems are stable, and the residual error signal generated by the filters guarantees the H∞ performance for disturbances and faults. Sufficient conditions for the design of fault detection(FD) filters are presented by linear matrix inequalities. Moreover, the filter gains are characterized according to a solution of a convex optimization. Finally, an example derived from a pulse-width-modulation-driven boost converter is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the FD design approach.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the H filtering problem for a class of continuous-time linear switched systems with the asynchronous behaviours, where ‘asynchronous’ means that the switching of the filters to be designed has a lag to the switching of the system modes. By using the Lyapunov-like functions and the average dwell time technique, a sufficient condition is obtained to guarantee the asymptotic stability with a weighted H performance index for the filtering error system. Moreover, the results are formulated in the form of linear matrix inequalities that are numerical feasible. As a result, the filter design problem is solved. Finally, an illustrative numerical example is presented to show the effectiveness of the results.  相似文献

This article is concerned with the ? fault detection of discrete-time switched systems with distributed delays. By using the input–output approach combining with the small-scale gain theorem, a sufficient condition is established in terms of linear matrix inequality, which guarantees the fault detection system to be exponentially stable with an ? performance. Then, a solvability condition for the desired fault detection filter is also proposed. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed theory.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of exponential H filter problem for a class of discrete‐time polytopic uncertain switched linear systems with average dwell time switching is investigated. The exponential stability result of the general discrete‐time switched systems using a discontinuous piecewise Lyapunov function approach is first explored. Then, a new µ‐dependent approach is proposed, which means the analysis or synthesis of the underlying systems is dependent on the increase degree µ of the piecewise Lyapunov function at the switching instants. A mode‐dependent full‐order filter is designed such that the developed filter error system is robustly exponentially stable and achieves an exponential H performance. Sufficient existence conditions for the desired filter are derived and formulated in terms of a set of linear matrix inequalities, and consequently the minimal average dwell time and the corresponding filter are obtained from such conditions for a given system decay degree. A numerical example is presented to demonstrate the potential and effectiveness of the developed theoretical results. Copyright © 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of robust H fault detection for a class of uncertain nonlinear Markovian jump stochastic systems with mode-dependent time delays and sensor saturation. We aim to design a linear mode-dependent H fault detection filter that ensures, the fault detection system is not only stochastically asymptotically stable in the large, but also satisfies a prescribed H-norm level for all admissible uncertainties. By using the Lyapunov stability theory and generalised Itô formula, some novel delay-dependent sufficient conditions in terms of linear matrix inequality are proposed to guarantee the existence of the desired fault detection filter. Explicit expression of the desired mode-dependent linear filter parameters is characterised by matrix decomposition, congruence transformation and convex optimisation technique. Sector condition method is utilised to deal with sensor saturation, a definite relation of sector condition parameters with fault detection system robustness against disturbances and sensitivity to faults is put forward, and weighting fault signal approach is employed to improve the performance of the fault detection system. A simulation example and an industrial nonisothermal continuous stirred tank reactor system are utilised to verify the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This article considers the fault detection (FD) problem for a class of Itô-type stochastic time-delay systems subject to external disturbances and sensor faults. The main objective is to design a fault detection filter (FDF) such that it has prescribed levels of disturbance attenuation and fault sensitivity. Sufficient conditions for guaranteeing these levels are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), and the corresponding fault detection filter design is cast into a convex optimisation problem which can be efficiently handled by using standard numerical algorithms. In order to reduce the conservatism of filter design with mixed objectives, multi-Lyapunov functions approach is used via Projection Lemma. In addition, it is shown that our results not only include some previous conditions characterising H performance and H ? performance defined for linear time-invariant (LTI) systems as special cases but also improve these conditions. Finally, two examples are employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design scheme.  相似文献
