China will see a wider shortage of paraxylene （PX） supply in 2014, according to a research report from Sinopec Econonlic and Technological Research Institute. The supply gap will be up to 9.5 million tons in 2014. The domestic PX industry managed to lneet only 47 percent of China＇s demand for PX in 2013.
