Results of a comparative investigation of deterministic and random pulsewidth modulation (PWM) techniques to be employed in a new ac drive for electric vehicles are presented. The study, employing the advanced simulation package SABER from Avant! Corporation, was focused on the reduction of electromagnetic interference (EMI) when a deterministic PWM strategy is replaced with an RPWM method. To assess the impact of the PWM technique on the drive performance, the drive efficiency, torque ripple, and dynamic response of the current control system were also investigated. Two RPWM techniques characterized by random variations of switching frequency of the inverter were considered: one with the sampling frequency of the modulator varying in step with the switching frequency, and one with a fixed sampling frequency equal to the average switching frequency. The study has demonstrated good EMI-mitigating potentials of RPWM techniques, whose use results in EMI reduction by 10 dB and more, while the drive performance is barely affected. 相似文献

业扩报装是供电企业营销和配网管理的一项重要工作,对形成并维持良好的配网结构、保证配网供电可靠性、提高配网资源利用效率等具有十分重要的意义。电力系统中,负荷和电力设备都是在较大的空间中广泛分布的;配网电压等级低,经济供电距离短,对空间数据的依赖性强。充分利用地理信息系统(GIS)管理空间数据的能力,建立业扩报装优化与辅助决策支撑平台,提出完整的基于GIS的业扩报装优化与决策系统功能设计。分析了GIS平台应整合的数据,按照变电站、馈线、设备3个层次,采用面向对象的方法集成预测信息、运行信息、设备台账信息和空间信息;提出了完整的业扩报装辅助决策流程,设计了业扩报装中每项决策信息的优化决策方法和辅助决策功能,包括所接入变电站、馈线、配电室等3个主要决策内容。采用该系统可提高供电企业的业扩报装水平,防止形成供电范围交叉,防止各条中压配网线路负载不均并减少负荷矩,降低规划建设人员工作量等。 相似文献

It is not a simple task to measure temperatures on the rotors or rotor components of large induction and synchronous machines during steady-state operation. The single greatest obstacle to obtaining these data is related to getting the data from the rotating element. Other problems are associated with instrumentation noise, sensor type, and attachment. This paper describes a number of techniques that have been used by the authors and their associates over the last 30 years. Test and calculated temperatures are presented for one machine. Also, test data from a number of machines are presented that show, for this particular population of enclosures and ventilation schemes, the steady-state temperatures at the design load can range from the value of the stator rise to greater than 70/spl deg/C higher. 相似文献

Most oil exploration and subsequent refining operations take place outside the continental areas of North America and Europe. Classical problems of the development of algorithms for estimation of nonmeasurable state coordinates for the systems of a general-purpose industrial asynchronous electric drives with vector control are discussed. Modern problems related to the synthesis of algorithms for preliminary and online identification of the essentially varying parameters of an induction motor are considered. The authors develop a phase variable model of the BDCM (brushless DC motor) and use it to examine the performance of a BDCM speed servo drive system when fed by hysteresis and pulsewidth-modulated (PWM) current controllers. Particular attention was paid to the motor large-signal and small-signal dynamics and motor torque pulsations. The simulation included the state-space model of the motor and speed controller and real-time model of the inverter switches. Every instance of a power device turning on or off was simulated to calculate the current oscillations and resulting torque pulsations. The results indicate that the small- and large-signal responses are very similar. This result is only true when the timing of the input phase currents with the back EMF (electromotive force) is correct. The large-signal and small-signal speed response is the same whether PWM or hysteresis current controllers are used. This is because, even though the torque pulsations may be different due to the use of different current controllers, the average value which determines the overall speed response is the same 相似文献
