The effects of NaF additive upon the sintering temperature of Ba(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3 dielectric ceramics were investigated, and the densification of the present ceramics could be performed well at lower temperatures, even around 1200 C, when the concentration of NaF additive was equal or greater than 2 wt %. Moreover, no secondary phase was observed in such ceramics, except the limited surface layers.  相似文献

Effect of nickel on microwave dielectric properties of Ba(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The dielectric and physical properties of the complex perovskite Ba(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3 system in which magnesium was substituted for nickel from 0.03–0.67 mol%, were investigated in the temperature range 20–110C, and the frequency range 10.5–14.5 GHz. As the nickel content was increased, the dielectric constant, the degree of ordering, and the unloaded Q decreased. The temperature dependence of the dielectric constant and the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency of the specimens annealed at 1500C for 20 h were found to be greater than those of the specimens sintered at 1650C for 2 h. These results are due to the increase in the density, the increase in grain size, and the lattice distortion.  相似文献

The nature of the B-site cation ordering and the associated defect process necessary to stabilize the ordered domains were investigated using the WO3-doped BaMg1/3Ta2/3O3 BMT system as a typical example of BaB1/3B2/3O3-type complex perovskites. It was shown that only the 1 : 2 long-range ordering of the B-site cation existed in both undoped and WO3-doped BMT perovskites. The atomic defect mechanism associated with the stoichiometric 1 : 2 long-range ordering was systematically investigated. It is concluded that the substitution of W6+ for Ta5+ in the WO3-doped BMT enhances the degree of the 1 : 2 long-range ordering and produces the positively charged W Ta sites with a concomitant generation of tantalum vacancies VTa and mobile oxygen vacancies V O for the ionic charge compensation.  相似文献

Cordierite-based glass ceramics of the 2MgO2Al2O35SiO2 composition with t-ZrO2 (3 mol% Y2O3-ZrO2) and P2O5 addition, was heat-treated isothermally and isochronically for crystallization studies. Major crystalline phases incurred by the heat treatment were t-ZrO2 and -cordierite. Surface nucleation predominated when edge and corner nucleation in these samples were suppressed regardless of their radii of curvature. Crystallization began with the formation of -quartz S.S. and its transformation to -cordierite was followed by prolonged heating. Cellular growth of -cordierite on the surface of the quenched glass plates, gave a linear kinetics. The activation energy for cellular growth was 410 kJ mol–1.  相似文献

Single-crystal fibres of modified strontium aluminium tantalum oxide (1-x)Sr(Al1/2Ta1/2) O3·xLaAlO3(SAT-LA) and (1-x)Sr(Al1/2Ta1/2)O3·xNdGaO3 (SAT·NG), and modified strontium aluminum niobium oxide (1-x)Sr(Al1/2Nb1/2)O3·xNdGaO3(SAT·NG) and (1-x)Sr (Al1/2Nb1/2)O3·xLaAlO3 (SAN·LA) were grown using a laser-heated pedestal growth technique. 0.7SAT·0.3LA grows congruently and retains a twin free simple cubic perovskite structure (as the SAT) when cooled down to room temperature. 0.7SAT·0.3LA crystals have a moderate dielectric constant ( = 21.7) and low dielectric loss (tan = 7.5 × 10–5) at 10 kHz and 90 K. The reduction problem of Ta5+ is eliminated (which is common in the case of SAT growth). 0.7SAT·0.3NG and 0.7SAN·0.3NG have lower melting temperatures and crystal growth is easier. NdGaO3 addition to the SAT and SAN enhances the potential of SAT and SAN as large-area substrates for high-T c superconductor growth. However, the dielectric constants increased from -12 to -16(0.7SAT·0.3NG) and from 18 to 23 (0.7SAN·0.3NG) as a result of NdGaO3 incorporation.  相似文献

The effect of Fe2O3 additions on the electrical properties and microstructure of yttria-doped barium titanate ceramics was studied by resistivity measurements and electron microscopy. Doping with 0.05 mol % Fe2O3 markedly increases the resistivity of the ceramics. The Fe atoms are nonuniformly distributed between BaTiO3 and the grain-boundary phase Ba6Ti17O40.  相似文献

Modification of dielectric characteristics for Ba3Sm3Ti5Ta5O30 was performed by Ca and Sr substitution for Ba. The temperature coefficient of the dielectric constant () of Ba3Sm3Ti5Ta5O30 decreased somewhat by Ca substitution, but the dielectric constant () decreased considerably. In the case of Sr substitution, the temperature coefficient could be markedly decreased without considerable decrease of dielectric constant. Ceramics of the two series could obtain dielectric properties of high (> 100) and low loss (10–3 at 1 MHz).  相似文献

YBa2Cu3O7–/(Y1–xPrx)Ba2Cu3O7– multilayers have been used to probe coupling through (Y1–x:Prx)Ba2Cu3O7– alloys. We observe that the coupling between ultrathin YBa2Cu3O7– layers, 12 or 24 Å thick, survives through several hundred Å of (Y1–xPrx)Ba2Cu3O7– with x=0.4 and 0.55. Tc versus the thickness of the spacer-alloy, and activation energies for flux motion, with fields parallel and perpendicular to the c-axis, have been used to probe this long range coupling. All these experiments point to an unusually large coupling length for these two alloy compositions. In the x=0.55 case this result is particularly surprising since the alloy material display a semiconducting behaviour for this composition. Tc measurements, activation energies, and a study of the vortex dynamics in these coupled multilayers is presented along with new results obtained on a series of multilayers built with a more insulating alloy, x=0.7.  相似文献

The thermal expansion, thermal stability, and electrical resistivity of the Ba1 – x M x Pb1 + y O3 + (M = Sr, Ca; 0 x 1.0, 0 y 0.2) and Ba1 – x M" x Pb1 – y M" y O3 + (M" = K, La; M" = Sc, Sb; x, y= 0.01) ceramic materials were studied between 293 and 1073 K in air. The linear thermal expansion coefficient of the ceramics was found to increase abruptly at 700 K, from (10–14) × 10–6K–1in the range 300–600 K to (13–18) × 10–6K–1in the range 800–1000 K. The electrical resistivity of the ceramics passes through a sharp maximum near 750 K, with the largest jump in resistivity at the compositions Ba0.6Sr0.4PbO3and Ba0.9Ca0.1PbO3. The anomaly in thermal expansion is likely associated with the rearrangement of the lead–oxygen polyhedra in the structure of the solid solutions, and the jump in resistivity is attributable to changes in the average oxidation state of Pb ions in the surface layer of the ceramics.  相似文献

The anomalous properties of the Hall constant in the normal state of high-Tc superconductors are investigated within the Hubbard model. In Mori theory, the frequency dependent Hall constant is given as the sum of its infinite frequency limit and a memory function contribution. The first term (R H ) was already considered by Shastry et al.1 In perturbation theory and in the limit of infinite spatial dimensions, the memory function contribution causes the Hall constant to change sign as a function of doping () and to decrease as a function of temperature, if we allow U to be 2W (U: Coulomb repulsion; W: bandwidth). In the limit U , the memory function is calculated via its moments. For frequencies W U, this leads to a decrease of R H by a factor of (1 + )/2.  相似文献

Sr5LnTi3Ta7O30 (Ln=La, Nd) ceramics were prepared by the conventional high temperature solid state reaction route. The sintered samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy methods. SLTT and SNTT belong to paraelectric phases of filled tetragonal TB structure at room temperature. SLTT and SNTT ceramics show high dielectric constant of 131 and 116 together with low dielectric loss 0.008 and 0.0036 at 1 MHz, respectively. In comparison with Ba-based ceramics with TB structure, the temperature coefficients of the dielectric constant () are significantly reduced.  相似文献

Ceramic specimens of BaO·Pr2O3·4TiO2 (Ba4.5Pr9Ti18O54) were prepared by the mixed oxide-route. The single phase products were examined by High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HRTEM). Orthorhombic symmetry, with cell parameters a22.2 Å, b12.2 Å and c7.6 Å, was confirmed. On the basis of space group pnam (No. 62) and the crystal structural data of Rawn et al., good agreement was obtained between the experimental HRTEM images and images simulated by the multislice method.  相似文献

Ultrafine BaTiO3 and BaSnO3 powders were prepared by thermal decomposition of oxalates through synthesis by the method of co-precipitation; Dy2O3, Nb2O5 and ZnO, used as dopants, were added to the main constituents, known as the tailor-made Ba(Ti, Sn)O3, according to the indicated compositions, then the batches were mixed until they became homogeneous. Careful treatment was necessary in later stages of the process of ceramic making. The dielectric properties of the ceramics were measured. It was found that high , low tan and low d/dt were characteristics of these ceramics. The results could be explained by the effects of peak shifting, broadening and grain-size inhibition. The relationship between composition, structure and properties is discussed.  相似文献

The dielectric properties of (Ba, Sr)O-(Sm, La)2O3-TiO2 material at microwave frequencies were investigated. By varying the amount of strontium from 0–25 mol% in the 0.15(Ba1–x Sr x )O-0.15Sm2O3-0.7TiO2 composition, it was possible to adjust the frequency temperature coefficient, f, from –13 p.p.m. °C–1 to + 30 p.p.m. °C–1. When 7 mol% Sr was substituted for barium, f=0 p.p.m. °C–1 was obtained. TiO2 with rutile phase (f400 p.p.m. °C–1) acted as a dominant element in f variation of the 0.15(Ba1–x Sr x )O-0.15(Sm1–y La y )2O3-0.7TiO2 (0x0.25, 0y0.6) system. Additionally, increasing the quantity of lanthanum substitution for samarium had a greater positive effect on f than strontium substitution for barium. When 60 mol% La was substituted for samarium with 7mol% Sr substitution barium, f of the system reached 95 p.p.m. °C–1. The effect on microwave dielectric characteristics of the 0.15(Ba0.93Sr0.07)O-0.15Sm2O3-0.7TiO2 (BSST) ceramics by varying the calcination and/or sintering conditions or doping additives, were studied. The added SnO2 acted as a firing agent to lower the sintering temperature, and the dielectricQ(Q d) value was improved by properly adding CdO. With 1 wt% CdO addition, the highestQ d value of the BSST resonator, after calcination at 1100 °C/2 h and sintering at 1370 °C/4 h, reached 4180 at 4 GHz with a small f of –4 p.p.m. °C–1 and an r of 80.7 was obtained.  相似文献

Tantalum oxide gels in the form of transparent monoliths and powders have been prepared from hydrolysis of tantalum pentaethoxide under controlled conditions using different mole ratios of Ta(OC2H5)5C2H5OHH2OHCl. Alcohol acts as the mutual solvent and HCl as the deflocculating agent. For a fixed alkoxide water HCl ratio, the time of gel formation increased with the alcohol to alkoxide molar ratio. Thermal evolution of the physical and structural changes in the gel has been monitored by differential thermal analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction, and infrared spectroscopy. On heating to 400 °C, the amorphous gel crystallized into the low-temperature orthorhombic phase -Ta2O5, which transformed into the high-temperature tetragonal phase -Ta2O5 when further heated to 1450 °C. The volume fraction of the crystalline phase increased with the firing temperature. The -Ta2O5 converted back into the low-temperature phase, -Ta2O5, on slow cooling through the transformation temperature of 1360 °C, indicating a slow but reversible transformation.  相似文献

Attempts have been made to prepare alumina fibre from the colloidal sol and polymerized alkoxides. The aluminium chloride or aluminium nitrate systems were found to be potential methods for producing continuous alumina fibre: the aluminium nitrate system had a better sintering behaviour than the aluminium chloride system. The aluminium isopropoxide system, however, was unsuitable for preparing alumina fibre but was suitable for the preparation of monoliths, membranes, powders, and multicomponent ceramics. The thermal changes of these precursors were studied by transmission electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The results demonstrated the different routes of phase transformation as the temperature increases. The aluminium chloride system exhibits two routes for phase transformation: (a) boehmite -Al2O3, and (b) gibbsite -Al2O3.  相似文献

Effects of Y2O3 contents on the microstructure and electrical properties of Pr6O11-based ZnO varistor have been studied. The varistor voltage (V1mA) and the nonlinear exponent () increased with increasing Y2O3 contents, whereas the dielectric constant decreased. Y-rich phase segregated at nodal points in grain boundaries. The average grain size decreased with increasing Y2O3 content. The specimen with 4.0 mol% Y2O3 sintered at 1285 C exhibited the highest nonlinear exponent ( = 77) with the dielectric constant, ~352 at 1 kHz.  相似文献

We fabricated porous (Ba,Sr)(Ti,Sb)O3 ceramics by adding potato-starch (1–20 wt %) and investigated the effects of sintering temperature (1300–1450 °C) and time (0.5–10 h) on the positive temperature coefficient of resistivity characteristics of the porous ceramics. The room-temperature electrical resistivity of the (Ba,Sr)(Ti,Sb)O3 ceramics decreased with increasing sintering temperature, while that of the ceramics increased with increasing sintering time. For example, the room-temperature electrical resistivity of the (Ba,Sr)(Ti,Sb)O3 ceramics for the samples sintered at 1300 °C and 1450 °C for 1 h is 6.8×103 and 5.7×102 cm, respectively, while that of the ceramics is 6.5×102 and 1.3×107 cm, respectively, for the samples sintered at 1350 °C for 0.5 h and 10 h. In order to investigate the reason for the decrease and increase of room-temperature electrical resistivity of the samples with increasing sintering temperature and time, the average grain size, porosity, donor concentration of grains (N d), and electrical barrier height of grain boundaries () of the samples are discussed.  相似文献

We derive a general expression for the dynamic spin susceptibility of3He-B which is valid for all magnetic fields. The coupling of real and imaginary modes by particle-hole asymmetry is taken into account. Then we calculate the contribution of the mode at frequency =2 – 1/4 ( is the effective Larmor frequency) to the transverse susceptibility. The spectral weight of this mode in magnetic resonance absorption is proportional to (/)1/2 (–)2, where and are particle-hole asymmetry parameters. From the experimental coupling strength of the real squashing mode to sound we estimate (–)210–4. The dynamic susceptibility satisfies the sum rules of Leggett. Finally we point out the difficulties in calculating the transverse NMR frequency of3He-B. These difficulties arise from theS z =0 Cooper pairs and from the coupling ofJ z =±1 modes forJ=1 andJ=2.  相似文献
