The objective of this study was to estimate the elastic wave velocity of an unsaturated soil slope, and to verify its applicability. The elastic wave velocity in a silty sand was measured. The individual influence of the volumetric water content and the tilt angle on the normalized wave velocity through unsaturated soil were investigated through a series of varied slope model tests. The relationship function of the normalized wave velocity-volumetric water content-tilt angle was established. To verify the proposed estimation function, a series of fixed slope model tests was carried out. The relationship functions were used to estimate the behaviors of the wave velocity in rainfall-induced slope failure model tests. The applicability of the proposed relationship functions for the wave velocity behaviors was also presented. It was found that the estimation function is highly consistent with the measurements for the wave velocity behaviors through unsaturated soil slope in the presented test conditions. In addition, the effects of the rainfall duration/initial water content, density, slope angle and surface layer thickness on the decrease rate of the normalized wave velocity with the volumetric water content and the tilt angle within the test conditions in this study were seen to be small. 相似文献

以立方松散堆积方式为例,从理论上推导并给出了湿吸力与非饱和土含水率的定量关系表达式,开展了不同含水率状态下重塑细粒砂性土的吸力测试,对试验结果进行了曲线拟合和分析,理论计算和试验拟合结果均表明:对于特定的非饱和土,湿吸力随含水率先增大而后减小,即存在确定的界限含水率。这与“在一定的土体含水率变化范围内,非饱和土,尤其是非饱和砂性土的强度随含水率的增加而先增大后减小”的事实完全相符,这再次证明了湿吸力,而非基质吸力,才是非饱和土有效应力的重要组成部分。 相似文献

Prediction of the ground shaking response at soil sites requires knowledge of the soil, expressed in terms of shear wave velocity.
Although it is preferable to measure this dynamic soil parameter in situ, this is often not economic at all locations. Existing
correlations between shear wave velocity and penetration resistance have been assessed in this study and compared with correlations
with SPT values obtained based on geotechnical and geoseismic data collected from a first-degree earthquake zone in Turkey.
The results obtained support the findings of earlier studies that blow-count is a significant parameter in these correlations
while type of soil has no important influence. The regression equations developed in this study compare well with most of
the previous equations and exhibit good prediction performance. It is noted that better correlations are obtained when uncorrected
blow-counts are used.

压电陶瓷传感器在岩土体弹性波速测试方面具有独特的优势,已在常重力工况下得到了较多的应用。文章针对离心机模型试验的超重力环境对弹性波速测试所提出的严苛要求,研发压电弯曲元和压电压缩元传感器及相应的弹性波速测试技术,主要包括传感器微型化和高频响性能设计,电磁屏蔽和防水接地技术,接收信号的快速叠加和带通滤波处理方法,以及时域初达波法确定接收信号到达时间等。在60g离心加速度下开展一组水平黄土场地的超重力模型试验,重现降雨入渗过程中模型场地土体的软化过程,并利用所研发的弯曲元和压缩元实时监测土体的剪切波速和压缩波速。结合TDR技术监测到的土体密实度,获得土体剪切模量、杨氏模量和泊松比等弹性参数随着土体软化的变化过程,实现超重力环境下模型土体弹性参数的实时监测与表征。 相似文献
