论案例教学法的实施

本文结合在<现代企业管理>课程教学实践中实施案例教学的心得与体会,着重分析在教学实践中成功实施案例教学法应把握的重要环节及应注意的几个主要问题,以此不断增强学生分析问题和解决问题的实际能力、提高学生的逻辑推理能力、语言表达能力和知识综合运用能力.     

浅谈“新科技英语阅读教程”教学方法

根据高等学校理工科本科《大学英语教学大纲》(以下简称《大纲》)的规定,高等学校理工科在本科生完成《大纲》所规定的大学英语基础阶段学习后,从第五学期到第七学期开设必修的专业阅读课。考虑到高校理工科专业繁多,而且在第五学期大部分学生还没有完全接触所学的专业课,学生从基础阶段立即转人阅读本专业的英语资料尚有一定困难,所以教师在选择教材方面一定要慎重考虑。     

矿山地表移动带快捷成图方法及应用研究

矿山地表移动带的圈定是地下矿山规划与设计中的一项重要工作,而变传统的手工绘图为计算机CAD辅助绘图则能快速准确地完成这项任务．结合矿山地表移动带的确定原理,以CAD软件为基本工具,提出了一种基于岩体移动角的矿山地表移动带计算机辅助生成法,并研究确定了该方法的具体操作方法：①直接在地质剖面图中根据岩体移动角绘制移动边界线,与地表交点即为该方向矿山地表移动带外边界点;②或者先在地质剖面图中确定矿体最深（或最突出）部位的X（或Y）及Z坐标,将该点投影到地表地形图中,通过计算机辅助绘图得到该方向的地表移动带外边界点;③将所获得的地表移动带外边界点依次连接形成闭合曲线,得到矿山地表移动带．该方法在某矿山地表移动带的圈定中获得了成功应用,效果良好．     

Null hypothesis significance testing: On the survival of a flawed method.

Null hypothesis significance testing (NHST) is the researcher's workhorse for making inductive inferences. This method has often been challenged, has occasionally been defended, and has persistently been used through most of the history of scientific psychology. This article reviews both the criticisms of NHST and the arguments brought to its defense. The review shows that the criticisms address the logical validity of inferences arising from NHST, whereas the defenses stress the pragmatic value of these inferences. The author suggests that both critics and apologists implicitly rely on Bayesian assumptions. When these assumptions are made explicit, the primary challenge for NHST—and any system of induction—can be confronted. The challenge is to find a solution to the question of replicability. On the consistency of a physical mapping method to reconstruct a chromosome in vitro

During recent years considerable effort has been invested in creating physical maps for a variety of organisms as part of the Human Genome Project and in creating various methods for physical mapping. The statistical consistency of a physical mapping method to reconstruct a chromosome, however, has not been investigated. In this paper, we first establish that a model of physical mapping by binary fingerprinting of DNA fragments is identifiable using the key assumption-for a large randomly generated recombinant DNA library, there exists a staircase of DNA fragments across the chromosomal region of interest. Then we briefly introduce epi-convergence theory of variational analysis and transform the physical mapping problem into a constrained stochastic optimization problem. By doing so, we prove epi-convergence of the physical mapping model and epi-convergence of the physical mapping method. Combining the identifiability of our physical mapping model and the epi-convergence of a physical mapping method, finally we establish strong consistency of a physical mapping method.

On the "remembrance of things past": A longitudinal evaluation of the retrospective method.

Examined the extent of agreement between retrospective and prospective measures of variables in 7 different content domains: residence changes, anthropometrics, injuries, reading ability, family characteristics, behavior problems, and delinquency. Retrospective reports using data from a large sample of 18-yr-old youth who have been studied prospectively since their births were evaluated. The findings suggest that (1) psychosocial variables (e.g., reports about subjective psychological states and family processes) revealed the lowest level of agreement between prospective and retrospective measures and (2) even when retrospective reports correlated significantly with prospective data, the absolute level of agreement between the 2 data sources was quite poor. It appears that reliance on retrospective reports about psychosocial variables should be approached with caution. Moreover, it is suggested that the use of retrospective reports should be limited to testing hypotheses about the relative standing of individuals in a distribution and should not be used to test hypotheses that demand precision in estimating event frequencies and event dates. On the rational selection of test series. 1. Principal component method combined with multidimensional mapping

A method for the rational selection of optimal test series with high data variance and low collinearities is presented (PCMM method). The method combines the technique of multidimensional mapping originally introduced by Wootton and colleagues with the principal component method, and it is superior to other selection methods with respect to its collinearity decreasing power. Two examples of the application of PCMM are given, and the results are compared with corresponding results from other selection techniques.

研究了具有抽吸喷注的多孔介质延伸表面上二维稳态层流的流动问题.用一种解析的方法——同伦分析方法——求得了该流动问题的相似解.给出了量纲为一的速度分布以及在不同渗透参数情况下壁摩擦系数的变化.     

On the generalization of the receiver operating characteristic analysis to the population of readers and cases with the jackknife method: an assessment

Interstitial deletions in chromosome 22 and features associated with CATCH-22 syndrome have been reported in patients with conotruncal congenital heart anomalies. Absent pulmonary valve syndrome is characterized by absent or rudimentary pulmonary valve cusps, absent ductus arteriosus, conoventricular septal defect, and massive dilation of the pulmonary arteries. Because absence of the ductus arteriosus is a key element in the pathogenesis of this syndrome and aortic arch malformations are frequently seen in patients with CATCH-22 syndrome, we hypothesized that patients with absent pulmonary valve syndrome would have a high incidence of deletions in the critical region of chromosome 22. Eight patients with absent pulmonary valve syndrome were studied. Metaphase preparations were examined with fluorescent in situ hybridization of the N25 (D22S75) probe to the critical region of chromosome 22q11.2. Deletions were detected in 6 of 8 patients. The presence of deletions in chromosome 22 in most of the patients we have examined with a diagnosis of absent pulmonary valve syndrome supports a specific genetic and embryologic mechanism involving the interaction of the neural crest and the primitive aortic arches as one cause of congenital absence of the pulmonary valve.
